Snowmen are made for wool
You know, don’t you, that I’ve got this thing for wool? I don’t want you to think I’m giving up on fabric, because applique is my passion and I’ve got new patterns coming very soon. It’s just fun to mix fabric and wool together sometimes, especially when those Moda designers keep coming up with such cute fabric. My booth happened to be right across from Lisa at Primitive Gatherings last market, so not only was I looking at wool all day, I was looking at her dang cute Snowman Gathering fabric! Wool in the studio
I’ve been so wrapped up in wool I’m in heaven! I feel like I’m playing with paper dolls and it’s so much fun. Weeks Dye Works Wool
I’m in love with the wool from Weeks Dye Works. If you’ve looked at my website lately you probably already know that. Our wool section is filled with fat quarters from Weeks and we’ve bundled together our favorites to give you assorted colors to choose from. When Christmas comes around I’m always looking for a new way to package up cash or gift cards. There aren’t too many ways to make $$ look cute, so Bunny Hill to the rescue! Wool Colors
We’ve got some new colors of wool I just put on our website. Yum is all I can say! If these don’t make you want to work with wool nothing will! :>) These are new colors from Weeks Dye Works. It was really hard to cut these into bundles. I just want to keep them on my desk for eye candy! See the grey, third from the bottom? It’s called “Galvanized”…don’t you love the name? If you’re attending the Paducah Quilt Show next month be sure and search for Karolyn Reker’s version of YoYoville. She “fussy cut” little critters for the windows and doors of the houses on the border! Look how cute these are!
