Leaving town again

I keep thinking I’ll fit in a blog post any day now, but here I am getting ready to get on a plane for Portland this morning with not much done.  I’m flying to Holly Hill Quilt Shoppe along with 4 other designers to show 150 ladies how to make our little Christmas projects! I’ll just […]

DeAnna Dodson - Oh, how cool would that be? A Christmas workshop with FIVE designers? I’d love to hear all about it!

Glad you’re feeling better! Take care of yourself, and bring us back lots of pictures. :D

November 12, 2015 - 7:19 am

Tammy spencer - You are a busy lady…but of course, the talented ones always are. Sorry to hear you were sick but happy you are feeling better now. Did you get to get some reading done while laying in bed? Can’t wait to see the new projects from market and the christmas crafting event. Take care.

November 12, 2015 - 8:15 am

mimi'sdarlins - So sorry you came home from market sick, but glad you’re back on your feet. I recall you saying your fabrics would be late in arriving, but two weeks…talk about stressful! Such a great photo of all of you! Have fun at Holly Hill and be sure to tell us all about it. Oh, and you can get a spray to waterproof your suede boots. I think most shoe stores have it.

November 12, 2015 - 8:35 am

Hildy - Sorry to hear that you were starnded at the airport because your hubby was sick and then got sick herself just not fair:-( Hope you and your hubby are well now and you have a great time at your workshop! Can’t wait to see all the eyecandy you have for us:-)

November 12, 2015 - 9:45 am

Mary salmon - Anne! I wish you had your own plane! I get sick every time I fly. Have a good time creating I hope Hubby is feeling better. Love, Mary

November 12, 2015 - 3:01 pm

Barb R. - Oh Anne, you are so worth waiting for – I always love your posts and love everything you design! I’m so sorry to read that both you and your hubby have been sick – hopefully, both of you have recovered.

November 12, 2015 - 7:43 pm

Susan - Mercy, that sounds like a whirlwind! So glad you and your husband are feeling better!

November 12, 2015 - 7:53 pm

Nita - Sounds like your world is not different from mine, sister. Like the teddybear Winnie-the-Pooh dragged down the stairs behind him, whose head went bump-bump-bump! I just showed my slowly developing Tiny-Town quilt squares to my quilt guild tonight. They loved it, and were full of helpful ideas. I know it’s a very old pattern, but I could finally afford it. And my son has adopted a baby girl. Thanks for a precious pattern for little Helen! You are a blessing.

November 12, 2015 - 9:16 pm

Colleen - Oh man I feel for your poor husband to be feeling that poorly…….glad you had a backup plan. Then you getting a bad cold ( the lady’s from quilters garden in Sacramento had flight problems so spent extra day? in the airport) I heard the rain well weather in Texas was terrible this year. Every one thinks designers live a glamorous life so it’s good that you let us know the real story.
It’s too bad you had to leave straight away your four footed family must be really missing you
