One week and counting!
It’s crazy right now! 1 week and counting before quilt market and everyone I know is scrambling to get things done. I leave for Salt Lake City on Tuesday! It’s exciting to think of so many new things under one roof! The last time we attended market in Salt Lake, the city welcomed us with open arms. Salt Lake we love you! Happy April 5th!
Can you believe it’s April 5th? It’s Henrietta Whiskers day here at Bunny Hill! I have a drop in class today for Henrietta Whiskers at In-Between Stitches in Livermore, California. The nicest group of ladies attend and today I’m doing a demo on machine applique. Have you tried machine applique using DMC machine embroidery 50 wt. thread? It’s so much fun, and of course really, really fast! If you don’t have the DMC thread see if you have any Mettler 60wt. and then click on my tutorial section. Henrietta is Back!
It’s March 5th can you believe it? Henrietta’s back in block number 3 of my Henrietta Whiskers mystery quilt. She’s been working away to entice you to join us! How can you resist those little acorns in her cart? I can’t wait to show you how she looks when she’s quilted! She left for the quilter yesterday and she’ll be home before too long. Henrietta Updates & Class
Wow, some of you are working fast on the Henrietta quilt. You already have your backgrounds pieced! I’m really amazed! For the rest of you please remember the general instructions are just that…general. You’ll get the exact cutting directions every month with each block. Don’t feel like you need all the backgrounds pieced at once. You can do them as you go along. Let’s have some fun! Join me in the Henrietta Whiskers Club! Can you imagine a cute little squirrel with a winning personality? I can, and I’ve put her in my newest applique quilt!
