Bring in the new

It gets so crazy around here right before market.  You’d think I’d be used to it, but it never ceases to amaze me.  It’s market frenzy time and it takes every minute I have to get ready.  My husband cooks, feeds the pets, shops and takes care of the house, just so I can design quilts and write patterns.  Bless his heart, it’s a routine we automatically fall into.  I couldn’t do it without him.

I’ve been sewing with my newest fabric line from Moda called Celebration.  I’ve designed Celebration with 2 colorways;  one for boys and one for girls.

Are you sitting down?

Make sure you are sitting down.  This is a photo of the colors of Moda Bella that I’ve been working with for the past 2 weeks.

Bella Colors on my cutting table

I know you won’t believe it but these colors “go” with my next Moda fabric line!

Bella Colors

Do you see that red at the bottom of the stack?  It has me doing the happy dance!

Red!  In case you didn’t know it,  I love red.  I love pink more, but red is right behind pink on my scale of must have colors.

I’ll give you sneak peeks as soon as I can.  Happy Monday!

Windsor Lane has shipped!

Wouldn’t you love to visit Moda when a new fabric line arrives to watch them prepare it for shipping?  The process must be exciting to watch and I’m sure Moda has it down to a science.  I can picture bolts and bolts of fabric boxed and ready for shipping, with the friendly UPS man carting them to his truck.  This week it’s Windsor Lane that’s being shipped!

Bolts of each print are arriving at quilt shops this week!

Junior Jelly Rolls, Layer Cakes and Charm Squares are just waiting for yardage to arrive!

We’ll be making kits with this fabric very soon.  I’ll let you know when we have them ready.

Just waiting for the UPS man to arrive with fabric!

Hugs,

Anne
