We have two winners!

Apparently a lot of you liked the pink bowls!  They are really pretty, I agree, and I’m excited to be giving them away.  Some of you sent me emails because you couldn’t find where to leave a comment, but don’t worry, I assigned each of you a number and added you to the total.

Winner #1

1st winner from the Random Number Generator,  is Diane, #165 who said:

Diane, there must be something lucky about the last name Rose!  Hope your garden is full of roses because a vase filled with goodies is coming your way!

2nd winner from the Random Number Generator, is Vickie, #160 who said:

A Woodland Christmas is coming your way.

Are you ready for a new block of the month?  Quilt Market is next week and I’ll be showing my latest applique quilt in the Moda booth! The patterns are being printed and we’ll have them in stock very soon.  Remember the sneak peek I showed you on Facebook?  Here’s another peek of the block! I’ll be showing you the whole quilt next week!  I have a surprise to go with this quilt that I think you might like.  I’ll tell you all about it next week.  :>)

Have a great weekend everyone, and a happy Mother’s Day!

Bring in the new

It gets so crazy around here right before market.  You’d think I’d be used to it, but it never ceases to amaze me.  It’s market frenzy time and it takes every minute I have to get ready.  My husband cooks, feeds the pets, shops and takes care of the house, just so I can design quilts and write patterns.  Bless his heart, it’s a routine we automatically fall into.  I couldn’t do it without him.

I’ve been sewing with my newest fabric line from Moda called Celebration.  I’ve designed Celebration with 2 colorways;  one for boys and one for girls.

Celebration

Working on “new”

I’m having so much fun working on my newest block of the month.  I’m mixing the new “Vin du Jour” from Three Sisters with some French General Favorites.  They are getting along wonderfully!

New Quilt

I can’t wait to show you my quilt!  Just a few more weeks and it will be off to the quilter.  I’ll take some sneak peek photos before it leaves.

Yesterday we cleaned our storage room and pulled out fabrics we totally forgot we had.  You’ll find them in the sale section on my website at 50% off.  These are fabrics left from quilts and kits.  You may find something you still need to make one of our quilts.  Sales are always good.

We have applique fever here at Bunny Hill.  I’ve heard it’s catching, but don’t worry.   If you catch it you might have a great time!

Back soon,

Anne

We have a Winner!

I stopped by Random.org to let them pick a winner for the lovely “S is for Stitch” book.  They do things in such “randomness”,  they make it easy to pick someone. I just put in the numbers, hit enter, and ta da a winner is declared!

Ellen M #194 who happened to comment:

“Such charming designs.  I’m getting back into embroidery after a very long time, so this would be a great inspiration.  Many thanks for the chance!”

 Randomn Number

Congratulations Ellen, I hope your stitching away and loving it very soon!  And thank you Kristyne for writing such a wonderful book!  Hats off to you!

If you received my newsletter this morning,  you hopefully saw my Jelly Bag tote pattern.  It’s made up in Windsor Lane fabric.  The Windsor Lane Junior Jelly Rolls come rolled with twenty beautiful, 2 1/2″ x 42″ fabrics and the Jelly Bag tote pattern calls for eighteen 2 1/2″ x 42″  beautiful fabrics.  Ok, the pattern didn’t really say “beautiful” fabrics but it’s kind of a no-brainer.

Jelly Bag

Since we have to make room for some new fabric, I’ve put all of Windsor Lane on sale at 25 % off on my website.  If you buy a Junior Jelly Roll and 1/2 yd of “beautiful” fabric for the lining, (try that Windsor Lane paisley) we’ll give you a free fat quarter for the pockets!

You’ll still need to buy the pattern,  and those 1 1/2″ covered buttons (yes, we sell those too).  And if I haven’t made this too complicated,  you could be sewing a Jelly Bag very soon.

I’m working away on a new block of the month so it’s busier than ever right now.  I’ll give you some sneak peeks before too long, but now it’s all in the prep stage:  prep the applique, pin it up, take it down, re-prep the applique and try again.

It’s the pre-market craziness!  Yeahhhhh!!!!!!
