How will I choose?
I knew most of you are talented and good at applique, but I had no idea how many of you are such good designers! The blocks coming in for my stocking contest are so good I’m going to have to have a committee to help me choose just 3. Think about it, the stockings are fairly small, about the size of what you might hang on a tree, and the entire block is only 8″ finished! But what this group has filled them with amazes me! Design Contest If you’re sewing this weekend make sure you include a stocking for our design contest. Just look at these entries from week one in our 12 Designers, 12 Months, 12 Contests! Aren’t these little stockings cute? We’ve even had 3 children enter their stockings! If they can do it so can you! You still have plenty of time and remember how great the prizes are? There will be 3 winners, some great prizes and a chance to be featured in my new mystery quilt that starts in July! All you have to do is to add a little “something” to my stocking pattern! You can design something to go on the stocking, in the stocking, or next to the stocking. Here’s the info for you… Contest Rules You have 3 weeks to submit your design. I’ll choose the winners on June 1st and announce them on June 5th! The stocking blocks must finish at 8″ x 8″ so be sure and cut your background 8 ½ x 8 ½”. Sugar Plum Christmas
I’ve been waiting for almost a year (that’s how long it takes for fabric to get from the design board to the bolt) and the Sugar Plum Christmas bolts have finally shipped from Moda! Your local quilt shop should have it very soon! UPS is also delivering boxes of fabric to Bunny Hill so we can cut it into some special kits. One kit you already know about (Glitter Houses), but the other kits I can’t tell you about yet!
