Dear Santa, I just heard that I might be able to visit a lot of houses with you next year. I’m so excited I can hardly sleep! I’ll be over on the Bunny Hill website waiting for you to pick me up!

What’s this little mouse talking about?   Well, if you don’t have a local quilt shop nearby offering this kit,  I’m taking kit pre-orders for it over the next two weeks.  Some quilt shops are offering it as a block of the month, and some even have it as laser cut versions.  I always encourage you to shop at your local quilt store. If you can’t find it locally, you can pre-order kits for The Christmas Mouse and Glitter Houses on my website.

Here’s something that might be fun!  We have a special this month on Bunny Hill Petite patterns!  Buy 3 Petites and get one free! Tell us in the comment section on checkout what you’d like your free petite pattern to be.  If you can’t wait for the snail mail and you want to purchase PDF petite patterns, buy three and then choose your free one but don’t add it to your cart.  Tell us in the comment section and we’ll email it to you.  Here’s a few of the petite patterns we have:

We’re even including Maya Mouse in our petite selection…she’ll be ready to ship next week.  If you haven’t tried a petite pattern yet, they are really fun!

Are you going crazy this year with holiday shopping?  I have to admit I haven’t set foot in a store yet.  Everything I’ve purchased has been with the click of my mouse and I’m curious as to what you are doing.  Do you shop online or still prefer going to the actual store?  I think I’d buy more if I was in the store, and I know I’m missing out on the holiday decorations and excitement, but time seems to get more limited every year.  As my purchases get delivered, I feel a bit guilty.  How about you?  Another question, do you wrap your purchases right away or wait until the last-minute?  If you have a system of organization share it with us!

Back soon,

Anne

I’m not doing any Christmas shopping again this year. We give money instead of gifts so wrapping isn’t an issue! Merry Christmas Anne!

This year I just bought p.j.’s for my son and daughter and their spouses. I did shop in stores for our three grand girls, plus made them a quilt each. I also made them the sweet dolls like you made. I already own the turtle petite, but need to get some more. Love the new fabric and quilt. Merry Christmas to you, hubby and the fur babies.

Wonderful fabric. My local Quilt Shop often carries your lines do I hope they will this year too. I admit to not shopping on line at all as I prefer to actually see and feel what I am buying. (especially if it’s clothing), and I usually wrap a few gifts everyday and try to have anything that needs to be posted done and sent by November 😊

Wrapping every day is such a good idea. Right now our spare bedroom is stacked with boxes waiting to be wrapped. I had to post a box just after Thanksgiving to Germany and for the first time it made it before Christmas!

So cute….Love these little mice! I, too, have done online shopping! I have been crazy busy with work so just the basics of getting a meal together and doing laundry have suffered, let alone shopping!

Your fabrics and quilts are always so cute! I think I’ll treat myself to a few of your Petite patterns and PDFs are just perfect for me.
I love to buy my present in stores but somethings are not available in Germany so I need to buy them online and for my brother and his girlfriend I’ll order some amazon gift cards (also online of course). But for smaller gifts I normally browse real shops or our christmas markets.

Hildy, One of these years I have to come for the Christmas Markets. They sound like so much fun! What kind of things to you find there? Are they mostly handmade? Can anyone have a booth? I too love those Amazon gift cards! I’m giving quite a few this year.

I have 5 grandchildren and I have a system down I keep a box that I put gift items in all year long as I see things I either like or I think the grandchildren will like. When Christmas comes I buy 5 boxes from Home Depot line them up and go through my box putting into the children’s boxes oldest to youngest. Then I wrap a few of their “boxed” presents then wrap their boxes.

The boxes look nice under the tree and when the children are asked what they got for Christmas they start with my Grammy and pop pop gave me a big box.

One year I did give my granddaughter a kind of big box for her birthday yes just the box she loved playing with it.

Simple gifts are the best but it takes lots of thought and sometimes time and planning

Colleen, I love this idea! Not only do you find things that you might not find at Christmas, but you also must enjoy their reactions when opening your gifts. Your grand-kids are sure lucky. Obviously the key to this type of organization is that large box to keep them all in. Genius!

I really love the new line of fabric! Great prints and colors. I just simply love all of your designs and have several in the works. Can’t wait!
