Christmas & Winter

Christmas Quilts

I’ve designed so many Christmas quilts over the years, my house is filled with them.  Not all at once of course. Many remain folded on the shelves, waiting for a chance to be shared.   From my very first one, Catch A Christmas Star, to my latest one, Mistletoe Lane, there are many in-between.  I thought it’d be fun to decorate this blog post with them.  Are you ready?  Warning, this post is picture heavy!

“Catch A Christmas Star” was my very first Christmas quilt, designed in 2004.

Wow, that’s a lot of Christmas Quilts!  I hope I didn’t forget any!  All of these were made using fabrics from Moda!  And, guess what?  I’m working on a new Christmas Quilt for 2016!

If you’re a quilt shop reading this post, and you still have kits available for any of these quilts with original fabrics, please let me know and I’ll add you to this post.

Quilting By The Bay in Panama City, Florida  has A Woodland Christmas with all the original fabrics!

Jennifer’s Quilt Shop in Michigan has 3 kits left for Christmas Wheels, and 1 kit left for Wish on a Star!

Have a great week everyone!

Hugs,

Anne

I purchased a Catch a Christmas Star kit at a shop in Bend, OR just after it came out and put it in the “to do” stack of projects. I finally started and completed the quilt last year – 2014!!! Love it and how your embellishment kit that was purchased to go with it just gave it that extra sparkly finish. Thank you for sharing your creativity with all of us. Merry Christmas!

I have so many of your patterns and I love the Christmas ones! My all time favorites are A Tisket a Tasket and Rabbits prefer chocolate!!!

Is the pattern ” A Vintage Christmas” still available, I would love to get it, they are all great, I have your first one I am working on, Lorraine

Love all of them and nice to see all of them displayed! I don’t think I could pick a favorite one. You are so very talented! I need to get busy and start sewing some of these gorgeous quilts. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family!

Snowbound is hanging on my quilt ladder for the Christmas holiday. I am working on Icicle Days, but it is slow going with the embroidery. May have it done by Christmas 2016 ;)
Love all the patterns. Looking forward to seeing what animal or snow person is on your 2016 pattern. Merry Christmas!

Christmas is such a wonderful time of year. I hope you have the grandchildren’s names pinned to the back of the Christmas quilts so they will be passed on down your family.
You didn’t mention your four footed family members so I hope they are all well and giving and getting lots of loves
And I really like the block you designed for the Moda Shuffle.

Oh that was so much fun to see all your Christmas quilts – WOW! And they are all wonderful and charming.

In addition to all your Christmas quilts, do you have all of the other designs stashed away too? That’s truly a lot of quilts but what a treasure trove.

    Lucky you.

Merry Christmas and many blessings you, Anne, and to your family.

OMG! Thanks for posting all of your beautiful Christmas quilts! I’m actually stitching on Vintage Christmas currently! One of those ‘U.F.O.s’!

How fun to see all your Christmas quilts in a row! I remember them all. I seem to recall a contest to guess the theme for The Night Before Christmas (with clues). What I love most about your work is that it is timeless…I couldn’t pick a favorite of all these beautiful quilts if I tried. Merry Christmas Anne, with love :)

I love them all the designs and the fabrics are great in each one! I have the pattern of the ‘Postcard Cuties’ and I confess it’s still on my to-do-list. But since it’s more a winter than a xmas quilt and there’s no winter yet here I still have time … :-)
