Snow Happy Hearts for August

Snow Happy Hearts 4

Snow Happy Hearts August

August is a month that’s hard to define.   It’s in-between holidays and still controlled by heat waves here in the US.  It’s the month I hope hurries by.  So what’s a snowman to do during the month of August?  Mine is going to the beach!  It’s time for some play this month and he’s ready.

If you’ve been thinking about pre-ordering a Merci la Vie quilt kit, now is the time to do it.  Moda gets the award for beautiful kits and the Merci la Vie kit is no exception!  These will be arriving soon from Moda!  They are gorgeous!

I’ll be talking more about this quilt during the month of August.  It’s been hand appliqued by some very special women, and I’m going to donate it to the American Cancer Society.

Enjoy you’re day!

It looks like the kit comes in a beautiful box–how fun! Love the beachy snowman–sand buckets are so cute!

Thanks for the snowman! Love the sand pail and shovel!! Perfect for August–we just got back from the beach and have one more quick trip planned in a couple of weeks!

Thank you Anne! this one is so darling. (Aren’t they all)I think I will hot glue some tiny shells to place in the bucket! I love collecting tiny shells and this will make a cute beach house decoration!

Thank you so much for another great snow person……I was very fortunate to get a fat quarter bundle of your new Christmas/winter fabric at my LQS here in Kingston, Ontario, Canada :)

Love this little snowman and love the beach! But I hope he’s not melting in the august sun (I’m almost melting … good I’m not a snowman;-)

Snow Happy Hearts August is so cute (I know, I say that every month!!) – that little pail & sand shovel are so perfect for the beach and I love how a snowman can keep “cool” at the beach, too!!

Merci La Vie is gorgeous – you are so generous to donate this quilt ( but your generosity is no surprise to us!). You are truly such an inspiration!!

I could not agree more on your assessment of the Moda Kits.
No one does kits like Moda. The only problem is that you will probably never see the kit made into a quilt, because the packaging is so gorgeous you don’t want to open it!!

Once again, you’ve created such a darling snowman….I wonder what his secret is that keeps him from melting on the beach :) I’m saving all these patterns and think I’ll make a sweet quilt for a special grandbaby…oh wait, then I’ll certainly need to make more than one!
