The best dottie mini charm quilt ever

Guess what I’ve got for you today?  It’s the best Dottie Mini Charm Quilt Kit ever, according to Milkshake!

I promise, if she thinks this kit is great, it is!  You’ll want to grab one of these kits while we have them in stock, because the pattern I designed to go with it is FREE!   Who doesn’t love dots, who doesn’t love mini charms, and who doesn’t love a free pattern?   I couldn’t help myself when I saw the Moda Dottie mini charm bundles.  I made them into a basic quilt pattern that you can use again and again with any Moda mini charm!

How fun is this?  Now, just think how you can use this little quilt.  Of course it’s the perfect little table mat for any Easter decoration you want to display.

Why not make two or three,  display them down the center of your table and they’ll make those Easter baskets look so cute!

Or, try this…sew a large pearl button to the center of each square and you’ve got instant wall art!  Or how about for those pins you collect?   My granddaughters collect pins when they’re traveling and now they’ve got pins from Germany, Canada and all over.  I think I’ll make them each a Dottie quilt using their favorite colors, purple Dottie for one and aqua Dottie for the other.  Then they can display their pin collection on their very own Dottie quilt!

Opps, I’d better watch what I say because I think my doggies have some ideas of their own.

Milkshake & Chelsea love Dottie Quilts! They each claimed a kit for their own today, and Chelsea wants to know if she can exchange the green Dottie for pink!  Dang that dog is pushy.

Here’s the pattern below, and you can find the kit on our website.  I’ll be back tomorrow with the March Snow Happy Heart AND, we’ve got a few more Snow Happy Fabric bundles we’ll be putting in stock a bit later today.

I love Milkshake’s expression in the first photo–priceless! I don’t think she can believe that sweet pattern is FREE!!

That is so adorable, great idea for displaying shop hop pins. If you ever think of it could you tell us more about Milkshake? Did she adjust quickly and all settled in and happy?

Oh, your quilt pattern is so cute and yet simple I love it! And you can never be wrong with dots especially pink ones … right, Chelsea?;-)

    Anne:
You come up with the cutest projects! Does Milkshake come with the kit?
I won 3 of these at QuiltCon in Austin last week. I had no idea what to do with them until now. Thanks so much.
    Love,

Awww, that’s darling! I’ve been collecting polka dots for a long time. Someday I will make me a quilt that will burn everyone’s eyes. But it will be bright and happy! Hee hee.

Your dogs are SO cute! I especially love Milkshake. She looks a lot like my little girl cat, Eddie. She’s a tuxedo cat and so sweet.

Oh Anne, you’ve done it again. This Dottie Mini Charm Quilt is just too, too cute. I just love those little dots! I’m heading over to check out the kits on your website.

And as much as I love the Dottie, I absolutely love those pup-steers!!! Milkshake and Chelsea are just so cute! I wonder what they are looking at? Don’t you love how everything is just interesting to a dog? Give ’em both a hug and a scratch from me.

Thanks for sharing them with us!

Oh, so darn cute! I can never resist dots, have been collecting them for years and one of these days want to make a big quilt out of them. Love the button idea too….who doesn’t love buttons on a quilt? I see the look in Chelsea’s eye but Milkshake is obviously ignoring her. I’d stay out of this one, just let them work it out for themselves :)
