Little Maya has arrived!

There’s nothing like a new grandchild to make you feel good. It’s such a wondrous event.  Maya, my newest granddaughter, arrived on February 8th weighing in around 9 lbs. She’s Lily’s little sister. Lily has held her, kissed her and probably wondered in that head of hers, if she’s going to be going home sometime soon.  But as time passes they will get to know each other well, and life will be about bonding, sister fights, sharing and all the good things that we learn when a sibling comes along.

I’ll have to be content to view pictures for a few more months, as I wait for them to travel from Germany to the US for Maya’s first visit at the end of April.  I’ll take care to hug and love Lily too, as I hold my newest Granddaughter for the very first time.  I can hardly wait!

Now, for my giveaway. Oh that’s right, I didn’t tell you it was a giveaway!  Sorry, I’m such a sneak as some of you know.  Moda sent me some Mistletoe Lane Aurifil Thread Kits to make  your lives a little more fun, and seven of you who left a comment on my last post are going to win one!  I had 13 comments total (one from Margaret came in through email) so I’m going to do the random number generator from 1 to 13 and see what happens.  Are you ready?

Here are the winners!

 #3  Pam

#10  Gayle

#12  Karen

#6  Faye

You lucky ladies can email me your address through this blog and we’ll get your prize in the mail!   The thread kit includes a Mistletoe Mini Charm, 7 spools of Aurifil thread, and a pattern to make a cute mini ornament quilt.  You are going to have some fun!
