The vase is adorable especially with the roses. Believe it or not my Father was the one who truly loved the flowers. At one time he set out dahlias all around out side yard, I have a picture of him standing by one plant holding up one huge bloom. He is gone now and I’ll always remember him and his flowers. The vase would be lovely to hold his beloved dahlias. Thank You So Much for this opportunity.

It is a fitting tribute to mothers everywhere on their special day! Thanks for the chance to win this beauty! I enjoy your designs and am currently working on your Chick Jubilee quilt! Happy Mothers Day, Anne!

Oh what a happy dance I would be doing if I won this vase. It is absolutely beautiful !
Oh, ANNE,
The vase is just lovely! It reminds me of one my grandmother had-her most prized possession, sitting on her old Hoosier cabinet in her kitchen. For me that beautiful vase saw me through my childhood. Whenever I was upset and the tears were running down my face, she held me, soothed me, said all the right things a little girl needed to hear. Then she would get her precious vase and put it down between us and told me that it would hold all my tears, fears, and even keep me from kissing 5-yr Jimmy if I didn’t want to! After her death, no one could find that vase. What a wonderful opportunity to have one to remember her by and how generous you are to do this, Anne. Good luck everyone!
Oh my, what a beautiful vase! Thanks for the wonderful giveaway!!

OOH Pink Depression Glass!! I think my most prized possessions are my grandma’s pink depression glass bowl and candlesticks. I also have a little serving dish. I had two platters that, while on the phone 26 years ago, watched my then toddler open my china hutch and grab out the platters in about 5 seconds flat. They sadly cracked in half. Darling children..haha! What a beautiful gift to whom ever wins!
Would love to win the vase. I have several pieces of pink depression glass and it would fit in nicely with my collection. I love your things – and even though I don’t quilt, I appreciate the talent it takes to quilt and that is why I subscribe to your blog. It’s never too late though, is it?
Joan

What a beautiful vase. I have not seen one with the grid on the top to hold the flowers, so easy to arrange flowers with that. Pink glass with beautiful roses, what could be better to display and admire. Thanks for the chance to win.
One of the items I always looked for, when the Gooseberry Patch catalog came in the mail , was the pink bowl/vase and told myself I should order it, but kept putting it off. It was perfect for flowers because they would be held in place. Well, as you also found out, the wonderful Gooseberry Patch catalog was done away with so they could concentrate on cookbooks. When I saw the picture of the vase full of roses in your email, I knew exactly where the vase had come from. How pretty it looks full of roses. I’ve searched many shops and have never seen one like it. Thanks for the chance to win one.
Me encanta es precioso, me encantaría que me tocase.
