Junior Layer Cakes

What can you do with a layer cake?  If it happens to be a Junior Layer Cake from Windsor Lane you can really have some fun!  Junior layer cakes have 20 fabrics 10″ x 10″ and they are perfect for our Petite patterns!   1 Junior layer cake = 10 petites or more!  I love these layer cakes because they’re affordable ($22.00) and they’re packaged by color.  Can you choose a favorite color?

“Lily” was made from a Windsor Lane layer cake.  You’ll get two squares of each fabric in a layer cake so you can make her the same on both sides, or for more variety try using two fabrics…one for the front and a different fabric for the back.

Petites are fun to sew!

Make a few now and you’ll be ready anytime you need a little gift.

New petite patterns are in the works!

Hugs,

Anne

I love that they break out the colors like that. However it’s a great way to get $44 for a regular layer cake instead of the standard retail of $39. I would buy them if the pricing was lined up fairly. They must think we won’t notice. While it’s very nice to be able to buy a smaller amount of each fabric the $15 dollars a yard is a pretty steep. Gotta love marketing!

That’s a great idea, because sometimes a full layer cake is just so much money I don’t want to invest, but they are a great way to build a good scrap stash. So, I like the smaller bundle!

Great way to package those 10″ squares, Anne! Sometimes it’s nice to get a smaller assortment. I can never pick a favorite color in your fabric lines….but I can’t resist the soft blue, and I also love that brown one :) These prints are even prettier in person…my local shop always has an assortment of your bolts, and she generally has two of your BOMs going at once. Tiny Town and Raining Cats & Dogs have just finished, and Pumpkinville starts this month.
