Finishing up 2011

Redwork Raining Cats & Dogs

This week we finally finished the new Redwork Raining Cats and Dogs pattern.   What a great end to 2011.   Say hello to redwork in 2012!

Just look at the fabulous quilting!

Have you ever wondered how to quilt a redwork quilt?

You quilt right through the embroidery!  Most of the stitching will sink into the quilt and you’ll never see it.

You’ll find this pattern available now on my website but you might want to wait until January 5th if you’re thinking about buying it because…

A sale is coming!

And you get advance notice because you read my blog!   Starting January 5th everything on my website, except the Pumpkin Pie quilt kits, will be on sale for 25% off if you have the coupon code.  You’ll find this code in my newsletter that comes out on the 5th so make sure you’ve signed up (you’ll find the signup link under the slide show here on my website).  Make a list of what you want now so you’ll be sure to get it.  25% off only happens twice a year at Bunny Hill!

Henrietta’s Getting Ready To Hibernate!

And remember to print and save the Henrietta Whiskers patterns by December 31st.  Henrietta’s going into hibernation on New Year’s Day and she’ll no longer be offered as a free pattern.  She’ll be back on the website soon as a full pattern for purchase.

Have a wonderful New Year everyone!

I’ll see you in 2012  :>) and I can’t wait!

 Hugs,

Anne

I’m also wondering about the coupon code. I’m sure I’m signed up for the newsletter but haven’t seen the code. What happened?

Did the newsletter go out? I’m panicking that I didn’t sign up correctly for it – really want that coupon code because I’ve been waiting forever to order the Raining Cats & Dogs pattern! Knew the first moment you shared sneak peaks that I had to have it :) Did the newsletter go out?

Another adorable pattern….LUV, Luv, luv it…..I know it will be another one that I will stitch more than once……I’ve stitched Rabbits Prefer Embroidery 4 times…..even gave a set of the blocks to Pam for a giveaway on her blog…..I was new to blogging at the time….what was I thinking….that was a HUGE giveaway and one lucky winner. I’ve stitched it 3 times in red and once in brown. I’ve got my list ready for your sale…..just waiting for the 5th. The family has returned to Canada and it is sEw very quiet…..I’ve had a few lazy days….doing some hand stitching as I’ve taken my sewing machine in for a spa treatment…10 – 14 days is the wait time….I have other machines I could use but that one is my favorite…I’m on the lookout for a Singer featherweight…something I’ve always thought I would luv to own….got to get it before DH retires.

It is time to getting moving as I have a few errands to run and I’m getting fanny fatigue sitting at the computer……

Wishing you a new year full of happiness and good health. hugs Pauline

This is a stellar redwork pattern. Thinking it would make a good raffle quilt for my local animal rescue group. Have to think that one through. No matter what I will need to order it soon. Great work as always.

Ohhh! Your new redwork pattern is just wonderful! I’ve not done any redwork before, but I think I may have to with this pattern. Could you let me know if the pattern includes a fabric guide? Also, what is the white background fabric that you used? And last question: did you use any type of stabilizer for the embroidery, or was it worked without?

Thanks so much for helping me out!

Happy New Year to you and yours!!

Your redwork is beautiful! Like Mary(above comment), I have never attempted redwork but I’m thinking it would be a great skill to learn in the New Year :0) The quilting is also beautiful…such talent!
I loved the Christmas stories and pictures of your precious puppies, they are adorable XO.
May your life be full of love and happiness in 2012.
