Quilt Blocks for Jeaneane
When Jeaneane finally moves into her new home she’ll take a box of quilt blocks with her that some of you have sent. Yippee! Just look at these! There’s enough here for quilts, table runners, totes and even a framed picture or two to hang in her new home.
Why yesterday a quilt block arrived all the way from France. It didn’t arrive in time for the photo collage, but it’s in the box, ready to ship to Jeaneane.
Today we put all the names in a bowl, mixed them up and did a drawing. 1 entry for each quilt block.

Many of you sent fabric and quilting supplies for Jeaneane earlier in the year. Thank you to each of you too…
…and a group of quilter’s in Davis, California actually got together and sent Jeaneane their own box of treats. The quilt group is called “The Calendar Girls”! Thank you Calendar Girls for your thoughtfulness. You are the best!

Anne, it’s wonderful to see how many caring quilters out there who responded to your idea, and lovely of you to coordinate this beautiful effort. I’m sure Jeaneane will be thrilled and very touched by this gesture. The blocks are all beautiful, ladies, and it’s fun to see so many of Anne’s TAT blocks in the mix. Congrats to Christa and Malinda. I hope one day we will see what Jeaneane creates with these blocks, looks like she has enough to make two quilts.
