Family & Friends,  Quilts

I’m working on new patterns!

It can’t be several weeks since my last post can it?  I’ve been so busy time is flying by!  I have too many deadlines and I can’t keep them all straight, but the good news is that out of deadlines come new patterns and fabric!

Remember the dots?

…the ones I showed you in the last post?  I used that orange Moda Dottie on the border of my new quilt!   If you love dots as much as I do I think you just might like this one!  The pattern is almost done and it will be available at the end of October.

I’m calling it Pumpkin Pie!  I love pie almost as much as I love dots!

And have you heard about Ooh La La!

I’ve been sewing and sewing with my next fabric line called “Ooh La La“.  Get ready for more applique baby quilts because I’ve got some cute ones coming!  Here’s a peek at one of the new quilts…

Hoo’s My Baby

Merry, Merry Snowmen…coming soon!

Of course it can’t be market without a new block of the month!  I can’t wait to show you my newest!   I’ve used Rouenneries Deux from Moda Fabrics and French General and I’m calling the quilt “Merry Merry Snowmen”!  Beautiful shades of red, taupe, cream and  beige … I loved working with this fabric!  Because this fabric ships to stores in December you’ll be able to start this quilt in January and have it completed in time for next Christmas.  Merry, Merry Snowmen is a Merry, Merry quilt!

Where is Mollie Makes?

If you’ve ordered the Mollie Makes magazine from us we haven’t forgotten you.  We’re waiting to get that confirmation email that the magazine has shipped.   I promise to ship them as soon as they arrive. Our supply is sold out and I’m trying to get more.  I’ll post it on my blog if I do.

Do you want a Photo of the  Henrietta Whiskers Quilt?

Many of you have emailed me asking for a large photo to print of my Henrietta Whiskers quilt.  If you’d like a larger picture of you’ll find it on my blog and website.  Just click on free patterns, scroll down to the bottom of the page and you can open up a PDF file and print out a full size photo.

A Baby Just Makes Life Sweet!

Lily is still visiting from Germany!  I’ve grown so attached to her and I’m sad to think she’ll be leaving in just a few weeks to return to Germany!  What am I going to do without this happy little face around everyday?  She’s changing so rapidly, I’ve seen her grow right before my eyes.  She’s so happy and always smiling.  Grandma’s girl for sure!

I’ve got so much more to share with you and I’ll be posting more as soon as I can. Have a wonderful week everyone!  I’ll be back soon…

Hugs,

Anne

That baby, Lily!!!!! What a true picture of sunshine!! I wouldn’t be blogging either, dear Anne, knowing she will be leaving you soon – enjoy her all you can, and chew on that tiny ear lobe and kiss the back of her neck!! She is absolutely beautiful!!

Hubs and I drove to Denver this week and had a horrible time with the weather. I went into a quilt shop in Laramie, Wyoming and there was Lilly and Will! It made me feel so good to see something familiar after such a terrible drive! I can’t wait to see the patterns all finished.

I am also in love with your ‘Pumpkin Pie’ quilt teaser! Then there is the ‘Ooh La La’ fabric teaser and ‘Merry, Merry Snowmen’ !! Anne, you are incredible! (I’m talking in exclamation points!, aren’t I?)

Your creativity and talent just boggles my brain – but thank you so much for sharing it with the rest of us!

Your pumpkin quilt looks like it’s going to be absolutely charming! And the expression on the owls face is adorable! Thanks for the teaser sneak peek. Can’t wait to see the finished quilts!

Love the new quilts especially the pumpkins.
What a sweet wee granddaughter, i know how attached you get to them.
We move to Stratford from our home in London a year ago to be near our grandson who is blind and help by looking after him three days a week. Now my daughter is off to Ecuador with him for three months with the possibility of moving there in a year. I am so upset but not much I can do. Enjoy her because they grow far to fast. Blessings Sandra

What a sweet grandbaby! My kids say that I’m getting ‘baby fever’ whenever I hold their friends’ babies. That will be on hold since our son will be ordained a priest in April — and our daughter is a first year resident in pediatrics and her husband is an ER intern. I am so looking forward to your Snowman BOTM and while I am not really wild about orange, that pumpkin pattern is REALLY sweet. Hope you will have a kit for that! Thanks for the sneak previews. And enjoy Sweet Little Lily while you have her around!

Pumpkins are cute, owl is cute, fabric is cute, baby is cute – WOW – you must be in heaven now! Thanks for sharing! :)

Oh my, how can you see that sweet little face and not smile? What a little doll :) Thank you for sharing her with us! You will miss her….I know how it feels to say goodbye to those chubby pink cheeks. It’s a good thing you’re so preoccupied, maybe that will help.
Love the new patterns, I can’t wait to see more of that pink owl….how cute is that!

  • Vickie E

I bet it will be tough to see that babe go :( I haven’t left you a comment in a while however, I have been reading your blog! I too have gotten a couple of the Mollymakes magazines and I am thinking about getting the digital copies of the first 3 that I missed.

  • Laura K

Oh Anne it had to be pumpkins didn’t it!? I am kinda slightly obsessed with pumpkins. I will definitely be getting that pattern when it is available. Your grandbaby is absolutely adorable! I am so envious though. She gets to go back to Germany! I will be sad for you but happy for her. I was born in Germany also but came to America when I was four months old. I don’t remember it at all of course and have never had the money to go back and visit. Maybe someday. Thank you for sharing that adorable smile of hers!

Oh my gosh, that picture of Lily just made my morning! What a happy girl. I dare anyone to look at that picture and not smile, LOL. Just the same as listening to a baby giggle, it is contagious and you just have to giggle along with them. You must be having so much fun with that little sweetheart.
I can’t wait to see what you are cooking up for the block of the month Anne, the teasers you posted have me already wanting to get started. Hugs…

Oh Anne she is beautiful!!!! grandaughters are the best! Cant wait to see the new patterns. I have a 3 inch binder that holds all the patterns I have purchased from bunnyhill (and the free ones of corse). I think I need a bigger binder? When my daughters in law want a quilt they always ask where is that pattern book with the bunny on the front? They love them too (of course I have to sew them but that is the best part) Enjoy your Lily!

Your pumpkin pie quilt is calling my name…actually it’s shouting at me! I’m really loving what I can see of it, and I think it’s going to be a “must have”. Can’t wait to see your new Christmas pattern too!
