I love polka dots don’t you? They make me happy! My favorite line of dots happens to be made by Moda…it’s called Dottie. Dottie used to only come in a decorator weight fabric but now Moda has Dottie in a 45″ quilting weight fabric. It comes in lots of yummy colors and I own a fat quarter of each one!
The orange and white Dottie is my current favorite. I’ve used it on the border of a new quilt design and you’ll get to see the quilt next month! An orange Dottie border…can you believe it?
I bought my fat quarter bundle of Dottie here. It’s a great stash builder and so much fun to play with. See that yummy lime green in the bundle? I used a little piece in my new quilt. Couldn’t help myself. Going a bit Dottie here at Bunny Hill thanks to Moda!
Remember the Moda Blog Hop continues with Aneela Hoey !
I can’t wait for Aneela’s next fabric line…she gives a sneak peek on her blog. It has little foxes! AND…what a cute tissue cover pattern for FREE. It’s adorable!

Beautiful, beautiful fabrics and oh so beautiful patterns to come. I’m happy to hear you’re doing fine, especially spending time with such a cute baby!
Love your blog, have really missed you over the last couple of weeks, hope everything is well with you.
I have really enjoyed reading the Moda Blog Hop (one more day to go!!), and meeting all of the amazing Moda designers (you are all so incredibly talented!). But…Anne, I have so missed reading your blog – I hope you post again soon. I am having a bad, bad case of Bunny Hill withdrawal :(.
(oh, and a few pictures of that darling baby, Lily wouldn’t hurt either!)
:)
Thank you so much.
I love this line at Moda, too! I wonder what a quilt made of nothing but the dots would end up looking like?
This was a fun stop for the hop.
I LOVE dots…good to know about these. I’m sure you will come up with something really cool with them.
I love your projects and patterns, and I’ve also enjoyed the BOM’s you’ve hosted. Do you mind sharing what computer program(s) you use to draw your applique shapes and write up your patterns? I liked the simplicity of “A Tiskit-a-Taskit” and “Snowbound,” but Henrietta Whiskers was even more professional and polished. I would love to turn my own doodles into something that looked that good. I am designing some 15 inch appliques in the traditional of Baltimore Album quilts.
Thank you and keep up the great work!
In stitches,
Teresa :o)
I am a dot freak! I hear that I won a bag of wonderful scraps…shall I send my snail mail address??? I am soooo excited!
I have been enjoying the blog hop. Check out each site daily. Wanted to share with you that I just finished a tote from your Jelly Bag Pattern. If you would like to see how it turned out I have just added pictures to my blog post today. Thank you for such a great pattern and it was easy to follow the directions also. Off to check out today’s blog hop site!
Hi Anne,
You got me started on this blog hop and I am loving it — ‘meeting’ all of these new designers. Do you know what happened with the Cabbage and Roses site? It is a July entry. I even went to Moda to try to find it. I think I would like her stuff (but cannot afford it!!)!
Thanks in advance,

OMG……………………I LOVE “polka dots” & have been collecting them for 2 yrs now so I have quite the pile, I’m anxious to see what they come up with. There are some limited patterns that you can use & can’t decide what to make??? I’m hoping that when the quilt is made I will use her pattern :)
Polka dots are so much fun! I saw a trunk show once and the majority of the quilt backs were all polka dots.
oooo, love polka dots!! These are so cute :-)
Dots….it’s the only thing I like ‘almost’ as much as florals! You know, Anne, if you cut your FQs in half, you could share your bundle w/ a ‘close’ friend and you’d still have a nice dottie bundle of fat eighths! I’m just saying….:)
You must be finishing up a sweet Halloween quilt w/ that orange border and touch of lime?
About Aneela’s darling fabrics, there was much chatter at my LQS yesterday….they have layer cakes of her Little Apples, but we’re still trying to convince the shop owner to get some Sherbet Pips!
I’m just as curious – but I know it will just too, too fabulous ‘cuz you’re the clever, creative one!
I can hardly wait to see what you have designed now!!!
(You are quite the tease making us wait until next month.)
I can’t wait to see what you did with the orange and lime green dotties! It’s such a change from your usual pastels and subdued colors but I’m sure it will be completely adorable since you made it!
i love the polka dots! you can never own too many! i’m very curious to see what you used the orange one in….very curious. ;0
