Halloween & Fall,  Quilts

Henrietta Block Eight!

I’ve posted block eight of Henrietta Whiskers a little early for my blog readers!

Henrietta’s showing off more of her neighborhood this month.  Rumor has it that the people who live in this house feed Henrietta peanuts.

And that sometimes Henrietta brings along a friend…

or two…

or three…

…and they all “pig” out together!

Good thing I didn’t put any peanuts on this quilt.  Imagine how many squirrels might have shown up!

If you’ve been keeping up with the blocks, your quilt should look something like this…

There’s only one more block and then you’ll be able to sew your quilt together!  That’s the part I love don’t you?   The final touch is the border!  I’ll give you the border next month along with block nine so get ready to finish this quilt!

And, if you haven’t had your fill of squirrels, take a look at my Pumpkin Hill pattern…

I think I see Henrietta!  Is she the one jumping over the moon?  Maybe!

I’ve just revised Pumpkin Hill into a single pattern and of course I’ve included color photos of each block.

If you haven’t made Pumpkin Hill yet, maybe now is the time to start…the price has been reduced from $64.00 to $38.00

Happy applique everyone!

Hugs,

Anne

Oh, I just love this little house!! You know I’ve been behind in these blocks for months, but I’m nearly ready to post #6, then on to 7 and 8, so I’ll be ready for #9 and the borders by next month! (If I say it, it will happen, right?) I am loving this quilt….oh, and I’ve always admired Pumpkin Hill, too…what’s not to love? :)

Oh this block is too cute too!!! I love this quilt design (but I confess, I love ALL of your designs!!).

You must be over the moon with excitement to get to meet your newest granddaughter, Lily, later this month. I’m so excited for you!!! I know we are all dying to see lots and lots of pictures.

It’s just sweet, Anne. I haven’t been BOM-ing along this time, but I have saved all the patterns because I definitely want to make this one – and soon. I absolutely loved A Tisket A Tasket last year and it hangs proudly in my entryway. Thanks so much for so generously sharing your talent!

p.s. Love the squirrels too. And Pumpkin Hill is gorgeous!

Oh my gosh Anne…so adorable. I love the pictures of Henrietta’s friends also. *sigh*, I just plain love animals! Ummm, I don’t know if anyone has told you, but there is a big smudge in the lower right hand corner of your picture of the complete Henrietta quilt…thought maybe you might want to fix that. *wink* Well, thunderstorm blowing in fast, time to sign off. Hugs…
