Pat Sloan’s Radio goes to Quilt Market!

I adore Pat Sloan.  She’s made the quilting world so much fun by hosting her radio show every week.  She brings many different talents into our homes and makes us feel like we’re sitting right there with her!     American Patchwork and Quilting is now the sponsor of Pat’s show!  Congratulations Pat on such a winning combination!

Pat was at International Quilt Market in Salt Lake City this year and I had the honor of being interviewed by her!  Click on the photo, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the podcast with my name.  You’ll hear me, Kimberly Jolly from Fat Quarter Shop, Sandy Klop of American Jane and Patty Young of modkid!  You can sew away and listen to us talk…something we all love to do!

Now for some more fun!  I promised a giveaway and here it is!  You just might win some of my newest fabric line Puttin’ on the Ritz!

Just tell me what color of Puttin’ on the Ritz you’re dreaming about and you could win!  One of these bundles could be on the way to you Friday morning!

Hope you enjoy the radio show!  A big thank you to Pat Sloan!

Hugs,

Anne

I Love Pink – my favorite color – with the gray it is beautiful. By-the-way – darling granddaughter. I am getting a new granddaughter in September and the pink and gray will make a beautiful quilt for her. So excited for Puttin on the Ritz.

I don´t use to work with grey fabrics, but I love this bundle here! So I choose GREY! But I love all of them:-))

I’ve just surfaced after an awful, and L-O-N-G, divorce which tried to suck the very air out of me … One of the first things I saw and truly belly-laughed over was your Raining Cats and Dogs pattern, and I giggled over how you used the various patterns of fabric for roofing, fur, umbrellas, and so on to really bring your pattern to life with such charm. My living and financial circumstances prevent me from buying, much less working on, this quilt pattern any time soon, but as so many of us who’ve been through hard times and/or heartache know, there is simply no replacement for hope, laughter, or dreaming. I just wanted to write to thank you for a few moments of genuine joy.

Should I happen to win … Considering my hair is now a rather pretty color I call silver, that I’ve been *so* drawn to that tender color which for many represents the soul of a new little girl (especially during this time when my own soul has needed mending), and the blue is lovely, too — and *any* of the three would encourage my dream of someday working on your Raining Cats and Dogs quilt — honestly, I’d be thrilled with any of them. :)

Beautiful new fabric. If I have to pick one color, it would be the blue! Although I think they are all wonderful.

They are all beautiful, but I think pink is my favorite. Thanks so much for the fun giveaway and congrats on your beautiful new granddaughter!!! I’m off to listen to Quilting Radio.

Happy Birth Day to Lily! Congratulations to you and your family!!! Hope you get to cuddle with her soon!

My ‘early’ quilting projects were gray and salmon/peach. Love that combination and then it was difficult to find nice gray fabrics. Love the Ritz in the gray. The pink is luscious as well… Look forward to seeing the fabric in the shops!

I am seeing a sophisticated quilt for a new grandbaby! The soft gray is a great pairing with the pink. Hmm maybe I would add something dimensional to it for texture when she is old enough to grab and feel. Beautiful fabric giveaway. i am drouling……….

Congratulations on your new Lily bundle of grand joy. I am really liking that gray – so unusal and would make a strking quilt. If you decide to give away two and some one else wants the gray – then I guess I could be convinced to take that beautiful blue one. Awesome giveaway and wonderful opportunity. Judy C

Congratulations on your beautiful new granddaughter! I am looking forward to three new grandchildren this fall. Twin boys in September and a yet to be determined baby in October. I am dreaming of blue with the twins on the way but sure would like a little girl too! Having grandchildren is the best feeling in the world!!

Love your new fabric collection. It’s a hard choice to pick one but, I think I’m going to be dreaming of the pink.

  • Sandy

I love them all! That gray really calls to me, but I’d guess I’d have to say I’m dreaming of the pink, since pink is my little granddaughter’s favorite color. :)

Congratulations on your beautiful new grandbaby. I love all of your new line, but I’d have to say I’m partial to the pink and grey. Just gorgeous!!

  • Cory

Anne, I am dreaming about all of these colors. Especially the grey. I am needing to make a quilt out of these colors soon (about 8 months, hint). Thank you for this great give-away. I love your new fabrics. Take care and God bless, Cory

  • Charlotte

If I were going to step out of my box, I would choose the grey. Playing it safe, I would choose the blue.
Thanks for the chance to win. Charlotte

No question about it, the blue. I have no idea exactly what would be done with it, but it is my favorite color and I just love how it is paired with the grey. It looks so cool and serene.

  • Jan

OK…dilemma here. Cousins are expecting a baby in December. We don’t know if it’s a girl or a boy…so put me down for the pink OR the blue! I’ll figure it out if I win one or the other!!! Thanks!

  • Sue

Anne, they are all beautiful. But I think gray would be fun. I’ve never used gray before and I think it would be a fun challenge. Congrats on your grandbaby.

I really like the blue or gray and am dreaming of making something for my little guy as he needs something a bit more manly than sisters’ old castoffs.

  • Lotta

Lovely fabrics! In all colorways. I don’t know which one is the best but I think I’d pick the grey if I had to chose.
