Quilt Market

Raised in the Country

I wasn’t raised in the country, but I sure wish I had been.  Something about the early morning fresh air, the sound of chickens and of course those wonderful Country Fairs!  That was the theme this market at the Moda booth…Country Fair and what a fair it was!

Did you ever win a ribbon at the Country Fair?  Moda had lots to share!

Come on in, it’s fair time!  Get your ticket and you could win a prize!

I heard someone won an IPad by spinning that wheel…

…and these sock monkeys were pretty darn cute in this adorable Ferris wheel!

Dibs on the big monkey in the blue seat!

…and of course the jam jars, we can’t forget those…

Moda thought of everything…including a photo booth.  Hop on over to their website and you just might see yourself in pictures!  Click on the blue ticket to see the show! Everyone had a great time with this one!  No one does it like Moda!  Give me an “M” “O” “D” “A”!

…Sandy Klop of American Jane brought the chickens!

Sweetwater came prepared for a fair…they packed a suitcase with their adorable “Hometown” fabric…

…and Bonnie and Camille set up the bed of my dreams in their booth…I have serious aqua bed envy…

…not to mention pillow envy too! These pillows get first place from me!

Basicgrey gets a prize for giving me so many wonderful decorating ideas with their new line of embellishments…

And if the country fair wasn’t enough excitement, look what I found wandering through market!

This little red iron will replace the “other” iron we’ve all been hoarding.  Finally I found a new craft iron for applique!

You’ll find this iron on my website.  I hear they are on backorder now.  Doesn’t surprise me!

It’s sewing with my granddaughters this morning!  Back soon!

Hugs,

Anne

So much fun. I think I’m going to have to order that iron!!! Is this the one you talked about quite a while back that would be coming out later? Also, I have to find a bundle of pink “Puttin’ on the Ritz”…wouldn’t you know it…I bought blue and grey, and just found out my daughter is having a girl….we were all so sure it was a boy!

Market sounds like a lot of hard, exhausting work, but a lot of fun. Thanks for sharing. Love getting to see what to expect in the coming months. Have to work on my “have to have list”. Can hardly wait for your new line.

Love your market/country fair pictures. Got my “little red iron” about two weeks ago and love it. It’s lite weight and perfect for prepping my applique pieces.

I do have a small collection of County Fair and Herritage Day ribbons, but they are not as cute as Moda ribbons! Anne, LOL, I can tell you don’t cuss much!!! But those are darn cute monkeys:)

Thanks for posting the pictures. I love some of the ideas and may replace a few pictures in my house. Moda booth looked fantastic.

Wow, so much eye candy!!! Thanks for sharing, it is all so gorgeous. I actually did get a County Fair 3rd place ribbon on a counted cross stitch that I entered years ago…back in the days when I could do the very involved and intricate things. I was also looking at all the framed doilies and thinking I really need to pull out my stash of doilies that I made and socked away…just because I loved making them. Can’t do those anymore either, but no matter. My trusty sewing machine is my very best creative friend. Thanks for sharing all the great pictures and have a fun day sewing with the girls! Hugs all around…

Went to the Basic Grey website and did not see the fabric flowers. Are they something new that is not in stock yet?
