Happy Spring!

Happy spring everyone!   For the first time in ages I got outside for a bit today and look at what’s happening in my yard!  Roses are everywhere!  I have a section filled with lavender and it smells so heavenly.  There’s nothing I like better than garden roses and the scent of fresh lavender.

Who knew such beauties were filling my yard?  Certainly not me, I’ve been at the computer for days working on new patterns!   But tomorrow we’ll be celebrating Easter with our grandchildren.  I’ve planned an egg hunt and everyone will get a chocolate bunny (of course).    I hope all of you have a wonderful Sunday.  I’ll be back this week to tell you about things to come.  Can’t wait to share!

Happy spring & Happy Easter from me, Chelsea, Bitsy and Mooch!

Hi Anne, thanks for sharing such lovely photos of your roses!.. I *really* love the roses in the 1st, 3rd and 4th photos. Can you tell me the names of those ones if you have time? Love your blog! ~ :)

Happy spring Anne, Your garden is beautiful. Tomorrow is May 5th. My favorite day of the month because your newsletter comes!

What a beautiful garden, I just love the roses and lavender, all I have in my garden yet are tulips and we still keep having snow. I hope you had a fun Easter day with grandchildren.

Are you like us? We never get out of the “Shoppe!” I wouldn’t be surprised if we had some tulips out front at this point. How the heck would I know? Ha ha ha ha ha. Anne…I couldn’t think of a better place to spend Easter than with Bunny Hill! Chocolate Bunnies? YUM! Oh p.s. Seeew, I had to move the Bunny Hill section. French General’s Pom-Pom moved into the Shoppe along with Oasis and well…you got a new home next to the doors! Plus all of those samples started to get finished so you just needed more walls. Oops.

Anne, I hope you had a lovely Easter with your family, we had such a nice, relaxing time with the kids/grandkids. Your roses and lavender are beautiful! Our spring is so late this year, it will be some time before we see flowers, but I’m sure it will be worth it when they come :-)

Happy Easter to you as well, Anne! Your roses are lovely! I only have one small one, Popcorn, that is blooming. My others are not ready yet. No lavender either. You must have more sun over there than we do here.

have a wonderful time with your family today.

Happy Easter and Happy Spring! Pretty pretty roses you have there. I got outside for a bit yesterday too, looking at all the wild mustard blooming all over the California mountains. Gorgeous yellow for spring.

I just love the pics! I’m hoping that my roses start perking up and open up their little faces like yours have. Roses are surely sent by God to brighten our days aren’t they! Have a blessed Easter! I can’t wait to see what you’ve been working on!

Wow Anne! Gorgeous roses and lavender, I can almost smell them from here, in spite of the rain, flooding, and ‘snow’ predicted for tomorrow. *sigh* In spite of it all, my Flowering Plum Tree is beginning to bloom, AND, my lilacs are getting buds and blooms on them. I can see it, but it isn’t in the air yet! Have a wonderful most blessed Easter with your family. Hugs…

Love your roses. Today I finished the embroidery on Snowbound and they look great. They will have to wait a little longer to become a quilt but I am very happy with what they will be. Thanks, again.

Your roses are beautiful…perfect……..I especially like the last rose… the color is gorgeous. So glad you could get away from your computer for a bit. The calender says spring but it doesn’t feel like it here……Happy Easter….enjoy your Sunday with the grandchildren…I’m off to do some sewing…..(o:

I know your Easter will be blessed. Your talent and your joy for life blesses me…and our home ( which is filled with your bunny quilts)!!!! Have lots of fun XXXX

What perfectly lovely roses. Our spring is very delayed and stubborn this year! Would love to know the name of the rose in the third photo down. My favorites are Cecile Brunners. The fragrance is heavenly and they dry so perfectly. I just gifted my daughter with three of them for her new courtyard in SO. CA.
    Happy Easter!!
