Happy Dance Quilt

Some quilts just make me happy!  That’s how I felt when I saw Irene Baldock’s version of “A Tisket, A Tasket”.  Irene lives in the UK and sent a photo of her finished quilt.  I  love the fabrics and colors she used!

…and here’s another treat!  Irene’s version of Henrietta Whiskers!

I’m doing the happy dance Irene!  I love your quilts!

You can see more versions of Henrietta in my Flickr group.   You’ll never know how much you all inspire me!  A big thank you to each and everyone of you who are making this quilt!

Have a great day everyone!

Hugs,

Anne

Anne, Every time I get the opportunity to visit your blog, I am always so blessed. Thanks for always sharing those things that excite you and keep you going on your own road of creativity. I know that I am not the only one who always feels fortunate by seeing creativity at work in the hearts of those who so willingly share. Have a great day! Debbie

Her quilts are beautiful. I just ordered the last of the Lilac Hill fat 1/4’s from a shop I visited last week. I thought I had all of them but found I did not. Of coarse one I did not have was in the first block. I just loved the colors you used so much I am trying to find all of the fabric. Thanks for the pattern hope to start working on it next week!

I have finished the Tisket/Tasket quilt top and will get it off to the quilters soon, I hope. Henrietta will have to wait a bit as I have a couple of other project that I am working on. I love the color choices that Irene made.

Irene’s “A Tisket, A Tasket” quilte is gorgeous!!! and her Henrietta block is so beautiful too! Won’t it be fun to see her finished Henrietta quilt?

It’s so much fun for us, but I can only guess how you must feel, Anne!! Amazing!

Beautiful quilt! I keep seeing new people post their work to that group, which started in 2009. Must be so gratifying for you to see the group continue to add new members!

Your right Anne, Irene’s fabric choices are gorgeous. I also love ‘Show and Tell’! Not only does it allow us to see the wonderful variety that make each version of the same quilt, seem like they were made from completely different patterns. It offers lots of new and wonderful ideas for future projects. Thanks for sharing Irene’s photos with us. Hugs…
