Halloween & Fall,  Quilts

Henrietta is Back!

It’s March 5th can you believe it?  Henrietta’s back in block number 3 of my Henrietta Whiskers mystery quilt.  She’s been working away to entice you to join us!  How can you resist those little acorns in her cart?  I can’t wait to show you how she looks when she’s quilted!  She left for the quilter yesterday and she’ll be home before too long.  I’ll update you with the photos of the quilted blocks as soon as I have them!

The fabric for Henrietta, Lilac Hill and Antique Fair should be in quilt shops soon, if not already!  I know it seems like it’s taking forever, but at least you’ve had some planning time to shop for fabric.  If you bought a fat quarter of that beautiful pink from the Three Sisters Oasis line, you’ll only need what you see in block one.  I had planned on using a little more, but I changed my mind.  Just save any leftover fabric to your stash!

Here’s an idea of what the first row of Henrietta Whiskers will look like! Click on the photo to enlarge it! Oh my gosh we have the beginning of a quilt!

Be sure and visit my Flickr group for inspirational ideas for your blocks.  See if you can find photos from “Lhise” in France.  She’s hand sewing her blocks together and they are beautiful.  Then she added wonderful applique and embroidery!  What a treat to watch her blocks coming together!  I love my Flickr group and I try and get over to comment as much as I can.  It’s so much fun to see all the fabrics and beautiful applique.   It’s not too late to join.  Show off your blocks!  You deserve it.

Have fun with Henrietta today.

Back soon,

Hugs,

Anne

I have just spotted this pattern on a blog I follow and would love to make this quilt. I know I have a few months to catch up on but how do I join, and get the patterns from. Its just adorable. Quilted hugs, Sue

Hi Anne, I love your new BOM and have been looking at it since January trying to resist it. I think I might have to because, I must be very stupid, but I can’t find the link to the pattern in your post? I have also checked the flickr group but can’t find the patterns anywhere. Can you point me in the right direction?
Many thanks for such a lovely BOM.
    Celine

Hola, ¿ Cómo están? les escribo desde Santiago de Chile para decirles que los bloques de Enriqueta son hermoooooosooooooos¡¡¡¡
Los haré poco a poco, aunque sea con telas diferentes, pero ella es muy tierna.
    Besos.

Too cute really ! I love it.
Last night at midnight (french time) I was visiting your blog to see what the 3rd block looked like. (I have not yet finished the 2nd block but I was impatient ; and yet, the month of February was 28 days, so I guess the wait for block 4 will often find me stamping with impatience. LOL
    Thank you Anne, Thank you.

This quilt is just too, too adorable! (All of your quilt designs are just too, too amazing!) I’m going to get this one made if it kills me!!! (Gosh! I hope not.)

Anne, thank you again for sharing your talent and creativity with us. You are so generous – your many legion of fans can’t thank you enough!!!

And that Mooch – what a sweetheart. I’m in love!

Anne, just like all your previous online BOMs, each month gets better and better, thank you! I can’t wait to start going through my fabrics for this one, it’s darling! I did see those beautiful hand pieced blocks from ‘Lhise’, and I’m blown away by her precision. I’m also seeing some old friends from your first BOM ‘A Tisket A Tasket’, who have come back to do Henrietta.
