Are you following along with the Moda designers Pillow Talk? I’m having so much fun reading all the posts! It’s a chance for you to win some wonderful prizes and learn something about each designer you might not know!
Aneela is new to our group but I feel like I know her just from reading her blog. You will too! I bought 2 bundles of her Sherbet Pips for my grand-daughters because I fell in love with her fabric. Something tells me I’m going to be buying her next line too!
I’ve been a major fan of Blackbird for years haven’t you? Did you know that we both started making bread this past Christmas? I can’t believe I’ve waited so long to try it. Making bread is really easy! Here’s a link to my favorite bread recipe called No-Knead Crusty White Bread. King Arthur flour guides you step by step and once you try this bread I guarantee you’ll bake it over and over. Get ready for raves!
Jan Patek is just so much fun! She cracked me up at market dressed as Raggedy Ann for trick or treat day! Henrietta loves her fabric, Lilac Hill! It’s perfect for a squirrel with such good taste!
Did you see that adorable Bonnie from Cottonway in her red flannel pajamas? She doesn’t look old enough to have grown kids! I sat next to her on a shuttle once going to market. This was WAY before we both started designing for Moda. I loved chatting with her, she’s so open and friendly! Now I get to see her every time she’s at market. I can’t wait!
Today you’ll be visiting Joanna over at Fig Tree! Talk abut talent, she has it. I’ve used her beautiful fabric in many of my quilts. Her children are so darling!
Jump ahead and visit Sandy Gervais! She’s doing a new painting each day of the pillow talk. I’m a cupcake and Bonnie is a pair of cute, cute shoes! I’m so loving these little paintings!
More pillow talk to come! Be sure and leave a comment on my last post for a chance to win the Oliso Iron. Hop over and say thank you to Oliso on Facebook! They’ve donated this iron for our Pillow Talk giveaway! Thank you OLISO!!!!!!

I have visited the Moda Pillow Talk every day. Thanks for telling me to go to Sandy G. I love the little paintings. And I would love that iron.
Would love to have the Iron it looks like it is lite weight and easy on the hands.
I am so glad you reminded me of the pillow talk. Now I am off to catch up.
I love giving to others; would love to be my lucky day for someone to give me something like this iron. I was raised that you “iron” everything and I still do. My dollar store iron is not gonna last much longer and it came across on the MayFlower. I was raised by my 98 yr old grandmother (who’s still going strong) that you don’t throw anything out that still works. My grand daughter is learning to sew and I would love to pass an iron to her. What a great suprise to win a new one. Do you think it would make a difference in my charity quilts, pillowcases, and other Love gifts that I am able to sew, press and give away. I hate it when people don’t press what they stitch. It makes such a difference in the finished product.
I would love to win the iron. New and improved tools and gadgets are always welcome in my sewing room.
I would love to win that iron. I think my iron has pressed it’s better days. I would like to try the Oliso! It’s always fun to visit your website and blog. Your work is very inspirational.
I NEED to win the iron because I believe I have the worst back with 4 surgeries, and much, much pain, but I can’t let it stop me from my love of quilting, and my admirations of designers. Thank you for what you do to make the world a better place.

Thanks for the ‘Pillow Talk”. It’s great fun. I think I definitely need a ‘smart iron’ because I’m not so smart when it comes to pressing squares for quilts. I have an awful time getting all those seams to match up and I’m beginning to suspect it’s my ironing skills. I am absolutely certain that a smart iron will help make up for my shortcomings as far as pressing is concerned. I bet the quality of my quilts will improve dramatically.
Howdy, It is a good day to sew while the men folks watch the ball game! fun fun! Harriett
Again great giveaway, I also am having fun blogging aoung the pillow talk. The pillows have been great so far. Cannot wait to see tomorrow.
You betcha! I’m following along. I love reading new blogs and more about the designers behind the awesome fabrics I love. And to win any of the goodies, especially the Oliso iron would be even better.
For years I didn’t iron my husband’s shirts. Like most wives, I’d take them out of the dryer, hang them and they were good to go. We decided to move and sold our house and had no house to move into. We moved in with my mom. She loved to iron. She decided my husband’s shirts needed ironing. We eventually found a house and now I’m stuck with ironing the shirts. My mom is no longer with us but, every shirt I iron, I think of her. If this iron makes ironing easier, I’d love to have it.
I am totally hooked! I love the way that iron looks!
I’d love to win this iron because I love yellow! It’s my happy, happy color. How clever they were to brighten up a dreary task. Way to go, Oliso!
Our quilting group meets every Thursday, in a church hall. Our iron don’t steam anymore. We need a new one.
i always knew you must sew in bed!
I’ve been following along each day, and it’s so much fun to see what these designers have to offer. That bread recipe looks great, sure is nice to eliminate the kneading step….might get me back to baking bread again!
Thanks for the reminder. I’m caught up now! This is the best blog hop ever! Love Sandy’s paintings. You all are so talented. We (and Moda) are so lucky to have you!
I am really enjoying following Pillow Talk each day. It is fun to learn more about the people who create such wonderful fabrics and patterns for us to “play with”.
To win this iron would be God-sent!! My present iron has become increasingly more incontinent!
I’ve been following Pillow Talk each day and it’s a wonderful and fun way to “meet” the Moda Family. This is such a creative group of folks! P.S. The bread receipt looks yummy!
I would really love to win your iron. I have fond memories of coming home from school and the smell of starch because my mom was always ironing and if we were really lucky, there would also be the aroma of fresh baked cookies. Mom always ironed in her bedroom and we would come and sit on her bed and go over the events of our day.
