Hi Everyone! Welcome to Pillow Talk at Bunny Hill! The creative mind behind “Pillow Talk” is Lissa Alexander the marketing director at Moda! She dreams up things for us to do in her sleep. No wonder she’s calling this “Pillow Talk”! We never know what she’ll dream up next! This time she’s given us questions to answer – like what we do to relax, do we like pajamas, something about us you might not know, do we sew in bed…
…So grab your jammies, your favorite pillow and come on over for some Pillow Talk! Of course you may have to share a bed with Bitsy or Chelsea…
…or, maybe Max, Mooch or Topsy. I’m such an animal lover!
We can’t stay up too late talking because I go to bed early. I get up at 5AM every morning. It’s my favorite time of day and I’ll still be in my jammies. Yep, that’s right I love jammies. See if you can pick out the real Anne Sutton in the photos below…
Did you guess? My husband picked the one on the bottom left. He’s very funny isn’t he?
Lissa asked us to design a pillow for Fall market that “represented us”. It was hard to decide on a pillow because sometimes I’m funny and other times I’m pratical. Funny won and I decided to make a LARGE bunny. Surprise! I made a bunny pillow that my husband could use when I travel. It holds his nose strips and his remote control (both he can never be without). I carried this giant bunny in my luggage all the way to Houston and back. He’s bigger than Bitsy and Chelsea put together.
Chelsea asked my DH to add a few treats to the pocket the next time I travel so she won’t miss me as much! That dog is just so smart!
Today I’m sharing something I love to sew; lavender pillow sachets made with charm squares!
You can stack them to scent your favorite room…
or fill a pretty jar to decorate a special corner…
…or make a few for little Valentine gifts!
Just fill with lavender and decorate with a vintage button.
I love lavender sachets don’t you?
If you’d like to make some sachets yourself you can plug in this cord…
…(if you’re the lucky winner) and iron a package of Lily & Will charm squares with your new Oliso iron!
One of you is going to win this iron can you believe it? It’s my “dream” iron and Oliso has generously donated one for a giveaway! Hop on over to Oliso’s FaceBook page and say thank you! Or, if you’re not on Facebook, visit the Oliso website and watch the video to see this iron in action. Leave a comment on this post telling me why you’d like to win and I’ll announce the lucky winner on Tuesday! Thank you Oliso for making such a wonderful iron! Everyone at Bunny Hill has this iron and we all agree…we love it!
Just a few more questions left to answer…how about “do you sew in bed?” What’s up with that question? How does Lissa think we get everything done! Of course I sew in bed!
“How many nights do you or your spouse spend on the couch?” Lissa obviously hasn’t been to my house. It’s a big O. There’s never any room!
What’s something you might not know about me? I’m going to be a grandmother again! My son Doug and his wonderful wife Elke are expecting their first baby at the end of May and it’s a girl! My new grand-daughter will speak German, English and maybe a little French because Doug and Elke live in Germany. How do you say “I’m so excited” in German?
Hmm…where did I put my IPad? I’m reading such a good book! Pillow Talk is over at Bunny Hill and it’s time to relax.
Be sure and visit these other Moda designers for more Pillow Talk and treats!
February 1st … Aneela Hoey

You’ll find more Pillow Talk tomorrow over at Cottonway! I love everything Bonnie does and so will you!
Have fun!
Anne
Wow I love your patterns. Your site is very welcoming. I would love to win this iron. I’ve heard some
Great reviews about but alas cannot afford the price.
Love to quilt IRS my passion
I would love to win this iron! I love the bright sunny yellow and the fact that you don’t have to stand it up. Thanks for the chance. I love the sachets they remind me of my grandma, can’t wait to make a few for Valentines day.
Thanks for sharing. I love the sachets. They remind of the ones my grandma used to make. I love your patterns too.
love your fabrics (and awesome pink sewing machine)! i would love this iron – i’ve had rotten luck with a malfunctioning rowenta and am now using a cheap black and decker – would love an upgrade!
I want this sooo much! our guild meeting last month featured Oli the magic iron and I fell in love! I am always knocking my iron over, so my favorite feature is how you can leave it flat until you’re ready to use it.
Another of my irons bit the dust..I’m thinking of covering a brick with batting and placing it on the wood stove to warm up …that would probably work better than the “junks” I have bought recently..please pick me I’m sure your Iron will be the “top” pick for me…back to my brick….
I would love to have this iron. I am so tired of spitting, leaking irons – and replacing them. I have looked at this iron, but they are just so pricey – please send it to my house – I promise to give it a good home (and use it lots)!!!!!!
I would love to win this iron! Mine decided it didn’t want to work anymore. I love to iron my quilt fabric!
Love everything about your blog-read it faithfully. And, I would love to win the iron. Mine is dying. Definitely would love to have a gorgeous new iron.
I would love to win the iron, all the better to work on Henrietta to make sure she is crisp and fresh. All the better to share with my ‘Bees by Sea’ friends as we spend a quilting weekend in Duck, NC the end of this month. I so enjoy your newsletter and blog. Have a great day
Forget the iron I want that quilt on the wall behind your bed! Not to mention your PINK sewing machine, My hubby hates me reading in bed so forget about sewing :) He isnt a meanie really, I just go to bed later than him! If I DID win the iron you wouldnt hear me complain! LOL
Of course I would love to win this iron! Such a cheerful color…great little feet…..and no dripping…….Fantastic!!!!!
I am so enjoying the moda pillow talk and visiting all the designers.Like most I hate ironing when your iron spits crud everywhere so yes I would love the chance to win a new iron I have thanked oliso on facebook for the chance to win.
Cheers Nerida
Would love to have this iron- frankly, I need a new one. Looks like it would be fun to use! Like the yellow too- easy to find in the wee hours of morning before the sun comes up!
I would LOVE to win a new iron! I’ve tried every brand on the market and have yet to find one that’s 100% perfect! This looks like it could be ‘the one’!
Anne – I love and respect your work. How generous of Olisio to sponsor the giveaway. Owning an Olisio iron would be fabulous. I just recently retired from 30 years of teaching, and I have been quilting up a storm.
My iron is 35 years old, and weighs like a brick. But it still works…I keep expecting it to do something horrible. Anyway I would love a new iron that would make ironing a pleasure instead of a chore. My patchwork needs it! Thanks for the opportunity!
JoAnn
An Oliso iron would be a Dream Come true! Patchwork and a good iron are key. Thank you for this offr.
This iron looks like a great appliance. I’ve watched them use it on Fons & Porter LoQ shows and covet it.
Hello, Anne: I am having so much fun working with Henrietta Whiskers. What a wonderful idea to have a Pillow Talk! I hope the idea catches on and we can have another slumber party in the summer. How generous of Oliso to sponsor the giveaway. If I should be so lucky to own an Oliso, I will have to put a lock on it like I do my fabric scissors and put it in my fireproof safe!
Hugs 2U2! ^o^
I was just thinking today that I need to make some lavender sachets. Yours are so pretty.
I’d love to win because I so need a new iron. The “steam” part of mine quit working several years ago. I keep a spray bottle next to my ironing board so I can get the wrinkles out. Isn’t that silly?
Oh, and I love to iron!! I don’t know why, but I really do :-)
Blessings,
Marcia
I have iron envy every time I watch Fons and Porter. I love this iron! You should see the burns on my ironing board cover. One would think I’d learn to sit the iron up!
I love bunnies, too Anne & think the bunny pillow is too cute to be so practical! My fav color is yellow so I would love to win the yellow iron!
I would love to win the pretty yellow iron. Mine’s about dead so I need to consider picking out a new iron. It’s gotta have good steam because I love steam. The pillow talk hop has been a lot of fun. I love making pillow cases and I always make them for the neighbors dogs and my dog as well. They are quite spoiled you see. I found a fun fabric that has squirrels on it, and I can’t wait to make their pillow cases with it. My Lucy always snuggles in bed with me and demands her share of the pillow, never mind that she has her own. My husband says that she waits until I’m asleep and she slowly inches her way pushing my head off the pillow till I’m about off the bed. You just gotta love them. Thanks, Karen
Love that iron! Mine weighs a ton!
Would love to win this. And I agree with your granddaughters….they need to add pink to the color line!
love love love your patterns!
love love love your patterns
i just watched the video and this iron is an amazing invention!
Loving the pillow talk posts! I would love a chance at the Oliso iron! I’ve been admiring them, and just haven’t budgeted for one. Thanks!!!
b.
I love love love yellow…especially a yellow Oliso iron. Could it get any better. I would love to own this iron….PLEASE :-)
Sylvia
Love the Oliso in yellow…wonderful iron.
oh, wow, I would love to win a new iron! Mine is dying and not nearly as stylish as this one!
I love your blog and have it in my favorites list. The oliso looks so cute. I would love to have one of my own. Thanks to you and the folks at oliso for the op to win.
I would love to win this iron! I am in need of a new one.
I would love to win the iron. I enjoy making your boms.
I enjoy reading your blog and love your BOM patterns. The iron looks great. Would be exciting to win it.
Why do I want to win this iron?
How do I love it?
Let me count the ways
Oliso knows it deserves praise.
I love it for its classy style,
Auto shutoff makes me smile.
The smooth sole plate is thick and clean
Oh yes, forget not the glorious steam.
I am a guy, but I sew and even on occasion iron my own clothes. (but I do buy mostly permanent press clothes, ironing quilt squares is so much more fun!)
Love your blog and so thankful you share a BOM. This makes my second quilt to work on. The iron is terrific, I got to use one at my local quilt shop while taking a class – it was great. Would be terrific to win the iron.
I just found your website via Blackbird Designs blog.
I have drool running down my screen from looking at that iron! Who needs a fantasy about Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp cleaning my house in their tidy whities when I could be fantasizing about IRONING their tidy whities with a terrific new iron…”Oh thank you Connie…our tidies have never been iron this wonderful before. We love you!” Yes that is a much better daydream…don’t you think? LOL!!
Connie
Oh, I have so wanted the Oliso Iron from the time I first saw it. The sachet pillows are so sweet. Your couch does look like a busy place. Love it.
I would love a new iron. It is a must have around here. Fun pillow and great giveaway!
I’m so glad you featured the Oliso iron! I’d read about it a few months ago, but then hadn’t bookmarked it and couldn’t remember the name, except that it was yellow. I’ve been using a 50 year old Gen. Electric heavy as can be electric iron for my quilting, although I’ve been searching for an iron for 10 years (but didn’t like what I’d heard about Rowenta). Thanks!
Oh I’ve wanted one of those irons for a long time. My husband even knows about it because he always sees me watching Fons and Porter. At first I just thought they were interesting, but then I saw in real life one at a quilt show and realized how great they really are!
Thanks for being part of the blog tour!!
OOH!! I’d LOVE to win a new iron. The one I’m using now is a cheapy that was supposed to be a stop-gap until I could afford a better one…but I still can’t afford a better one. Thanks so much for a fun stop on the pillow blog hop!
I love reading your blog and seeing all the lovely projects, but most of all I love seeing the pics of your pets!!!
As for the iron, it would be hard to say which part function I like the most- that auto lift is fab, also self clean and auto shutoff!!!
Fingers crossed. Thanks for a great giveaway, Anne. Sandy :)
Love the bunny pillow so innovative, cute, adorable – need I say more?!!!
I would love to win the Oliso iron not only because it is truly amazing. But it can turn it self off AND I really like the feature that keeps it from falling off the ironing board. The iron I have now keeps tipping and you have to catch it – very dangerous!!! I must have one. It is surely going on my wish list.
Thank you for your wonderful blog. Have a terrific day!
Love your site and the joy you bring to quilting. Thanks
Love the little sachets! Someone recently gave me a big bag of dried lavender… I think I’ll have to try the little tiny pillows out!
Thanks for the giveaway! :)
I am just learning how to quilt. I LOVE it! I would love a nice iron to make it even more fun! I love your ideas. They are so cute!
Ahh such a cute pillow – I am such a sucker for good irons – nothing better than a great iron and this one looks awesome. I just finished a baby quilt using Lily & Will – lovely collection. Congratulations on being a Grandma!!!
I love your bunny pillow! I could use something like that. I could hide MY snacks in it, away from the kids, they’d never look there! ;-) I’ve heard so much about the Oliso iron. I’m always on the lookout for a really good iron. One with some heft to it, but won’t get mad and spit at me! And you know, I hate ironing clothes but could spend hours pressing fabric for quilts! Thanks to you and Oliso for the giveaway!.
My iron is in a really bad shape so a new one (and Oliso at that) would be very welcome!
Thanks for a chance to win!
I would love to win the Oliso because I am so tired of irons not lasting very long anymore. I’m sure this one will! Thanks for the chance!
I just checked out your blog for the first time & I love it!!! I would so love to win the iron. My iron is sooo old :(
Bless of luck to everyone but I do hope I’m the lucky one this time for the Iron. I’m just learning to quilt & embrodery things at 58 yrs. I’m having the best time learning from a great group of ladies.
Thanks,
Judy
I am a huge fan of sachets. I grow and dry my own herb to use. Our kitchen and laundry look like a medieval potions chamber during the summer. I have heard so many wonderful reiews of the Oliso iron. I am one of those goober people who enjoy ironing. I can only imagine all the wonderfulness this iron can produce. What a fabulous giveaway! Thanks!
My current iron doesn’t just spit, it leaks. I’m in desperate need of a new one and so thankful for the opportunity to maybe win a new one!
Why do I need the iron? This past week, my sweet Owen (almost 5 yo) was playing trains in my sewing room and for the first time ever, began to play with the cord on my iron. We discussed what might happen if he tipped the hot iron over. The Oliso would be safer… but would also be a a significant improvement from my $15 Target iron. I haven’t found an iron I love, so I stopped spending money on them. If I win it, I promise I will love it! :)
Wow, first congratulations on the new granddaughter on the way. And second I love the options this iron offers. Especially the fact that it stops steaming when you let go of it. I have the Velocity Reliable iron. I love the steam of it, but it goes through so much water because it keeps steaming. Plus the ability to leave it flat. My laminate floor in my sewing room has a ding in it from the iron falling over onto the floor. There are a lot of comments here, but perhaps this is my lucky week.
Thanks
Marttha
Love the bunny pillow and enjoyed the pillow talk. Snowbound has been a great project to build my confidence with applique. I am excited about Henrietta who represents the many squirrls fliting around my back yard and running accross my roof. I desperately need the wonderful Oliso iron that will not fall over or scorch my projects.
What a fun prize! I’m sure winning that Oliso iron would make everything I quilt just that much more perfect! Thanks for the chance!
btw…Love the lavender sachets and your blog!
Love your pillow and post! And the chance to win an Oliso iron is too cool for school! Thank you!
What a great giveaway prize! I love your bunny pillow. Too cute. I just finshed a baby quilt for a friend with the blue/brown Lily & Will fabrics – it is so cute!
I Like the looks of the iron! I would love to be the winner I could make use of the iron for my projects. I Love your web page!
je suis francise et je découvre votre magnifique blog et en même temps je découvre ce fer à repasser qui m’aiderai bien dans mes travaux de patch. peut être viendra t-il jusqu’en France. Bisous Dom
I would say “ICH FREU MICH SO!” for “I’m so excited” in German! Great iron, love the way you structured your pillow talk.
Love your stories and your pink sewing machine. I do sew in bed but I hadn’t tried it on the machine. Where’s the foot pedal?
Linda B.
I love the iron. I would love to have one. I only buy the cheapie irons because I am always knocking them off onto the floor! That, obviously, won’t happen with this one! Wow! Thanks for your wonderful blog… I have been following for a LONG time! I love getting Bunny Tales in the mail!
You, Anne Sutton, inspire me.
would love to win this iron. I don’t like the one I have and have been looking for something great to replace it. I will head on over to see the video. That bunny pillow is so cute. I liked seeing the dog treat disappear. Ana
Oh my! I’d love to win the iron because my iron spits and snarls at me and when it’s really mad it leaves brown colored wet spots on my quilting projects….not a pretty sight! I’ve tried many irons and have never been satisfied….what a delight it would be to own a wonderful iron! Just sayin!!
I was sick over the weekend and just read your post…you are awesome! Love your stuff1
I grow lavender and I will finally have enough this summer to start making sachets again. Does this iron really NOT leak? What a prize! It would be wonderful to win the perfect iron. Thanks for your beautiful web-site and patterns.
I’ve been looking at these remarkable irons on the internet for about a year now. What can I say? This iron has been on my wish lish for some time. Maybe something magical will happen and my name will be chosen! Thanks for the opportunity for being able to participate in that possibility. It is much appreciated!
I would love to win this fabulosly awsome “sunshine yellow” Oliso iron. It not only would be greatly appreciated, but would make a wonderful addition to my crafting decor!
Love the little sachet pillows. I grow lavendar and love the idea of having some cute sachet pillows to put it in. Also would love (and need) a new iron – I have dropped my old Black & Decker one too many times!
Linda
Love your blog! And I need an iron that will be a workhorse and this one must be it. Thanks for the giveaway.
I can never find an iron that I love. I would love to give that one a whirl!
I’ve never heard of that iron company before and I’m going to check them out immediately! You did a great job with that pillow, I may make something like that for our 4 year old!
I’ve been looking and drooling over the Olisa iron for several years now – would love to win it! Would also love to win some Bunny Hill charms as my niece (and the rest of the family) are awaiting twins (boy and a girl) in mid March! Congrats on the grandbaby you are awaiting!
I would love to replace my iron with a new Oliso. My iron is old as dirt. The yellow color reminds me of daffodils in the spring and since we have had a bad winter (unless you like snow and cold) a little springtime would be wonderful. That iron could make even the gloomest day bright and put a smile on my face.
PS…love all of your bunnies and pink and cats and dogs and cute little things you make and share.
I would love to win this iron, for a few reasons… One i never have won anything and it would be cool. Two, my iron is broken and it is hard to sew when your iron doesn’t produce any steam.
Love your designs, love your fabric…love that you have a giveaway! My iron is sputtering, so a new Oliso would be so, so nice!
Oh, so that is what that plug goes too. What an awesome iron. I would love to win just because I would like something more modern. Mine is really old.
I would love to spend time in bed with your pups. I miss mine.
ooh that iron would be wonderful. i have a five year old named greta; she likes to stand next to me at the ironing board (on a stool) and “cool off” the fabric i’m finished ironing. she uses a mini iron – not plugged in – and reirons all my fabric. it’s very sweet and one of the MANY things i’ll remember about her, but i’m always afraid my clunky iron will tip over and hurt her. an iron which lays flat would be wonderful.
wow, it must be some iron-could not believe all the posts. Love your new blog/post. Thanks for the opportunity to win. thanks dlkinkade@comcast.net
Ok so I have a 10 dollar toastmaster iron! I have only been quilting a few short months–I would love to have a really good fun iron~
Can’t wait to try that iron. Love your bunny pillow!
I saw the video of the Iron and was AMAZED at all the little improvements they have made….everything that one needs in an iron. I am so thankful that someone finally thought of those details. Over the years I have bought many irons and when I use it for a while, it does NOT perform as I need. For example, right now, the iron I have is a steam iron….and I do exactly what is indicated….but only once in a while will it work. I get so frustrated. I especially LOVE the feature on this Oliso iron where it raises itself from the board every time you sit it down. It is very time consuming to iron and so very frustrating when you have to put up with an iron that does not perform as it should. I would really LOVE to have this iron. I KNOW that it would make everything I do more successful MUCH less frustrating.
WHY, it sounds as if I would “fall in love” with my ironing chores.Instead of buying 10 irons in five years, I would only have to buy ONE…..an Oliso. I would LOVE to win this incredible “tool” for my work.
Oh my gosh! This is the greatest iron ever! No more knocking the iron off the board and the resulting dents on my walls and floor. No more burning myself or water going everywhere. No more high electric bills because I don’t turn my iron off all day. I would love, love, love to win this iron. Here’s wishing that I do!
I think my projects would turn out so much better with an Oliso steam iron. I love the pillows! Thank you for the opportunity to win!!
Great sachets!
I would love to win the Oliso iron because my Rowenta leaks and has started spitting yellow gunk on my fabric!!!
Thanks for the chance!♥
I just watched the Oliso iron video — I’d never heard of this brand before. I’ve had my iron fall of my board way too many times — I like that this iron stays horizontal!
I need this iron….seriously. I love to iron, a carryover from elementary school days of wearing a uniform, and I’m not particularly loving my iron. My luck with irons has been mixed from leaky, constantly turning off Rowentas to the last iron that decided to get too hot and scorched the (white)fabric I was ironing for a friend’s quilt. Thanks!
Who wouldn’t love a yellow iron!! might just make ironing fun!
[…] sure and say “Thank You” today to Oliso on their Facebook page. Leave a comment on my Pillow Talk blog post if you want to be entered in the contest. Only a few hours […]
This Oliso is soooo pretty! I just saw a demo on this unique iron at this years Road to California Quilt Show in Ontario two weeks ago. It would be wonderful to win this. I have to share my iron with my two daughters – 7 years old and 13 years old. This past month we have prepared 8 quilts between the three of us for our guild quilt show. One of which was my Snowbound quilt. My 13 year old daughter and I are both doing your Henerietta BOM. She is loving this. So you can only imagine the work out my old iron gets plus all the sharing. It would be wonderful to have a grown up iron all to myself.
Thank you
What a great iron! I hate my iron, so to win such a great iron would be fabulous! LOVE the sachets. I’m going to have some extra charms of Lily and Will after making a quilt, so I think I’ll make some sachets! Thanks for the idea!
The bunny pillow is so cute. I would love to have Max, Mooch and Topsy in my bed it would be fun with 5 cats, can you tell I love cats. I would even send the DH to the couch for the cats ;-) they don´t snore. This iron is awesome I so need it so I can stop using these cheapos I have. I will definitely be doing some of these adorable little lavender sachets.
Alda, Fl
Hi again Anne – just went onto Oliso website and watched demo – wow it doesn’t fall off the board – just the kind of thing I need with two four legged babies who love to chase each other under my feet no matter what I’m doing!
Darling pillow! And I plan on making some of those sachets. What a great idea! I’m so tired of knocking over my regular iron.I think the Oliso would be so much more stable.
Hi Anne – I wouldn’t mind one bit sharing with beautiful Bitsy and charming Chelsea – they are so cute. I’d love the win the Oliso iron – I’m sure it would save me constantly buying new ironing board covers cause I keep leaving the iron down instead of up so maybe the Oliso would come to my rescue instead of the fire brigade (only kidding – but the smoke alarm has gone off!)
I would just love to win this iron. I need a new one so bad. I just love your little bunny pillow. You need to make a pattern for that. It’s so cute!!!
I would love to win an Oliso Iron because I have heard so much about them, and my Row. Iron has a leak and spills everywhere! I love your site and am excited about the new BOM. The other day I was in a fabric store and heard two ladies talking about your site! I was amazed at how small this world is, now that we have the internet. Thanks for your fun site!
I love Oliso irons…had one but wore it out. The internet kept me from posting a comment earlier but I finally got in here. I’ve been using my cheapo back-up iron since my Oliso died. I think the best way to deal with this loss is to win a new one!
Would love the iron and the Lily and Will charm squares!
I promise to iron each square! Did not know that I was in the market for an iron until I saw this!
Thanks.
My old iron just gave up the ghost. I would love to win this one to replace it. Thanks for the chance to win!
Love the idea for the lavender sachets!
I’d love to win this iron because I only own a cheap-o iron from walmart, and having the right tools can really help make a difference in the outcome of your projects!
Thanks for the opportunity to win an iron. I have an older iron that spits and leaks and leaves marks on my projects….even though it stated it was not suppose to leak! Last week I was preparing a quilt for our upcoming local quilt show which had embroidery on it and my iron left sputter marks on 2 blocks. On a fixed income I cannot get a new one at this time.
I would love to win that iron because the one I have had for 10 years just died on me! I would love a nice new one like that.
Love the iron – and I need a new one badly. Thanks for the chance to win!
I would love to win that iron! I have never owned a really good iron, and I am 54 yrs old! The iron I currently have I got at a yard sale and the dial that selects the temp falls off all the time. It also leaves stains on my fabric, which is annoying on my quilts!! I really need a new iron, and if I have to buy one it will come from WalMart for $10. Thank you.
OOh I would LOVE to win that iron…i’ve never had a “nice” iron before, plus that would mean that I wouldn’t have to constantly stop what I’m working on to iron hubby’s military uniforms instead….
Thanks for the very awesome giveaway!
I love your pillow. You always make me smile. Especially with the puppies getting to sneak their own treats from it.
OOOOH so in love with that iron!!!
Love all the ideas at your site! Thanks for the opportunity. Love this iron!
Would like a new iron, currently using a T-Fal. This pillow hop is lots of fun.
I would love an iron so perfect for sewing!
I need this iron because I am currently using the Maytag cordless iron that was “all the rage” a couple of years ago. DRIVES ME NUTS!!! Not only that but this is a WAY COOLER ahem…HOTTER iron…LOL
Thank you for sharing.
Would love to win the Oliso because it doesn’t spit (everyone knows spitting isn’t nice!) and because it is self-cleaning. Thanks for having this give away! Rose
Love this pillow blog hop! I would love to win the iron because I am (according to my husband) “iron challenged” and need all the help I can get. :) I do fine on our old iron, but for the life of me can’t figure out the steam! Plus, this iron is sooo cute! :)
Would love to win the iron! I have one friend who owns one and loves it. Just not in my sewing budget yet.
Oh this would be just wonderful. Two days ago I knocked my iron off the board. Just barely missed the cat when it hit the tiles. Thankfully the only thing that cracked was the iron. I’ll be needing a new one now. I’ll have to check this brand out.
MMM…well, since my son scorched the collar on his favorite shirt this past week…I think I need a new one. My favorite little iron that I used for all my applique work went up the week before…Now I am back to trying to use my huge iron once again. I definitely do not want to scorch any of the Bunny Hill projects (especially Henrietta Whiskers) I have in progress. I watched the video and was completely fascinated by the way the iron lifted itself off the fabric surface! How great is that? Plus no more spitting out ugly brown fluids onto my beloved quilting fabrics! Too bad it doesn’t come in pink!
Congratulations on the wonderful new grandchild news!
I’d love to win a cool iron! I’m always burning my fingers with steam when I try to make 1/4″ seams! I don’t know if this iron would help, but it looks really cool!
I have followed your website for quite some time, but am new to reading blogs. I think I’m hooked! I have seen the Oliso iron demonstrated and it looks wonderful. As a quilter, my iron is on more than it’s off and it would be so convienient to used in that position. Also I think it would be safer in that position so as not to get tipped over as easily as an upright iron. Love your blog !
I would just scream if I won the iron! I love your fabric and I love Moda’s idea of pillow talk! I am a huge fan of pjs in the morning too!
I need a new iron and would love to be the winner! :)
I would love to win this iron, because I am the iron queen, seems I am buying a new iron every year. I haven’t tried this one yet, but have heard from one dear friend that she thinks it is the best.
Your blog is always so lovely!! And the free patterns have such thorough instructions and great photos. Thank you for such a great giveaway – I would love to be entered.
Mary
Hi I would love to win as I could use a new iron and since I am new to quilting it would definitely be an asset. :) Thank you!
Don’t want to jinx my iron ’cause I like the one I have now, but it’s showing it’s age and I know it won’t last much longer.
Enjoying the pillow talk blog hop. Have made one of the baskets from Blackbird Designs quilt pattern on theirs.
I think you girls have WAY TOO MUCH FUN at Market!
Love your words & photos Anne :)
I have has sachets in my dresser drawers for as long as I’ve been an adult (I shant say for how long), I was an Avon rep. back when & we sold them. Love the subtle smell.
Wow, what an iron you love :D I hadn’t heard of it prior to your blog, I shall be forever “an ironing maven with smiles” if I win your giveaway. If not the elated receiver, I guess I need to work a tad longer so hubby can’t refuse my new obsessive want.
Many blessings to you & your wonderful family, huge congratulations on your future grandmahood; in bed I am only a hand sewer/yoyo maker…..thought this should share my closing words as sewing in bed does to the day of ending it.

Loved your Bunny Pillow!! I’d really like to have an Oliso iron because I am a rare person……I actually LIKE ironing!! Yes, I’ve been told there must be a genetic error in my DNA, but it is so satisfying to take a wrinkled, unattractive fabric and smooth it into a beautiful treasure of cloth. Even a rag of a workshirt is elevated to usable after ironing. So, what’s wrong with the iron I have? Are you ready? 1)The cord is rather abused and pretty disgusting looking. 2) It leaks from somewhere on the handle so I have to keep a cloth nearby to wipe it off when using steam (or any time actually. There is also a leak somewhere near the bottom, but the leaks all run together! 3) It has found it’s way uninvited to the floor on numerous ocassions (as is evidenced by the obvious dents in my wood floor), even though I was sure I had stood it on its end carefully. Could it be part bunny and just likes hopping to the floor?? 4)It really has only 2 heat controls now… Hot and barely warm. Maybe that’s all I need? 5)The filling thing pulls out to allow you to pour water in and when I say pulls out, I mean PULLS OUT and has to be reassembled. 6)Generally after filling the resevoir, I iron a scrap of fabric to keep all the white powdery stuff it spits out for a few minutes from getting on the intended item. (That stuff is really hard to brush off of dark slacks!) Now for the reasons I NEED an Oliso iron: 1) I fear for the safety of my 2 dogs (Lily Belle and Sophie)who are always in my sewing room (where my ironing board is a permanent fixture)and usually near where the irons “hops” to the floor. There have been some pretty close calls! I have suggested the dogs not play tag in the area, but they forget. 2)As a 63 year old living on disability with arthritis and lupus, I have a very limited fixed income. I get paid $2.50 an item to iron a kind neigbor’s clothes. He appreciates the care I take and the starch I provide to make his clothes look spiffy! I fear my old iron may sabatoge me one day and leave a less than spiffy finish to a good shirt. 3)I keep my irons until they roll over and say uncle, so this is probably the only chance I will have to retire the present beast early.
I thank you for this opportunity and will continue to admire and enjoy your beautiful creations. Thank you also for the BOM patterns. What a treat to look forward to a new one each month! Blessings,
Deborah F.
The bunny pillow is so cute! I love all the pictures — it really makes me want to head into my sewing room and play with some yummy fabrics. While wearing my pj’s of course! :)
I’d love to win a new iron — my current iron has not aged well, poor thing. It’s not its fault — 2 of my children have dropped it over the years but it still works, just not looking so pretty while doing it.
Love all your pictures! And, those bunny slippers are great! Thanks for the giveaway! I would love, love, love a new iron! Mine is so old, and leaves lovely dark spots behind if it gets too hot!
You look so adorable sewing in bed with your pink machine! LOL
That iron would be a blessing right now as my trusty iron has started spitting water lately and I know it’s time for a new one.
I love the pictures of your furry babies! I wish all animals had such great homes! I would love to win the iron because it would be a joy to use one that didn’t leak water!
Really cute stuff, but I like the cats the best! I’ve heard great things about this iron so would love to have one!
thanks
I like the little sachet pillows in the glass jar. They look so adorable in it .. but then of course all sorts of things look cute in glass jars – buttons, spools of thread, and fabric scraps. :-)
The Oliso iron has been on my wishlist since I first read about one in a mystery book that was set in a needlepoint shop. The protagonist had bought it for her husband who loved to iron his shirts. But I kept thinking that it seemed perfect for quilters. I especially love the feature that lets you set it down with its automatic legstands – how brilliant!
First off love your blog and website. YOU are so hugely talented. Love it so much.
I would love to win the new iron. I have seen it on Fons and Porter, which is about the only quilt show we get in this area. I am in a huge need of a new iron. Mine is conking out. I am busy making a baby wuilt for my newest grandson that is due in 3 weeks. So it would be most helpful. Thank you for the chance to win one. Keep up the good work.

I would like to win the Iron because it looks like it could almost iron by its self. neena in nevada
Congratulations on becoming a Grandma again…lucky you. I’m luving this Moda Pillow Talk Blog Hop. Learning lots about our favorite designers…..if you could draw my number just 1 more time…. I could really use a new iron…..I’ve got a Row…ta that spits at me….not nice. Chelsea is just sEw darn cute…. Hugs from Michigan:)
I would love to win the iron! I could use one that doesn’t drip all over my fabrics!
Dear Henrietta,
Please ask Miss Anne to send that iron to our Miss Cathy. She’s a really nice lady who grows wonderful persimmons for us. A huge tree of crispy fruit. We eat them all in our own style, eating half and dropping the other half and grabbing a new one. She likes to watch us and she provides entertainment, waving her arms, running around and making loud noises. We laugh at her. You should drop by this year for dinner and join the fun.
Your Cousins
The iron looks great! I could really use a new one! Thanks for the chance to win!
Now here’s a product/brand I’ve never heard of or seen. Irons are a bit tempermental at times. I’m on my third one….would love to win one that actually presses my blocks flat because it is hot enough! ANd I hope it doesn’t spit/leak or drip!
Congrats on the new grandbaby! they are precious!
I love the lavender sachet idea. I can make them for Valentine’s gift for some of my favorite coworkers – they are so yummy with zero calories :) The Lily & Will charms would be the icing on the cake, and that Oliso iron…faaaabulous!
What a lovely post! I once made a fabric picture, very small scraps, stuck down with fabric glue, overnight in bed and the whole bed was FULL of snippets, glue, scissors and pins! As for the iron.. does your spit brown stuff like coffee grind when you turn on the iron? You can imagine the mess mine makes! So not using the steam function at all. This yellow baby looks just the job!
Oh my goodness, how cute is that pillow.
that iron looks great. thanks for the opportunity to win one.
pam roever at yahoo dot com
I would love to win the iron. My poor iron is cracked and leaking all over my projects. the iron sounds wonderful and I will have to investigate if I don’t win. LOL
Greetings, Anne!
Each aspect of making a quilt from beginning to end is delightful. However, the simple act of pressing fabric is very therapeutic for me! Really enjoy the back and forth motion across the beautiful designs. Sounds silly, huh? This wonderful task will be enhanced with the use of the Oliso iron. If chosen as the lucky winner, this iron will be an integral part of the hobbie which brings such joy!
Best wishes to all entrants. And, thank you Anne for sharing your incredible talents with us!
I just love your patterns. I’m going to try your lavendar sachets and use some paper piecing for a cute design on the sachet. I sure would love to use an Oslio iron that would not leak brown spots on my precious quilting. Good Luck everyone!
My old iron is broken, and I’ve been making do with a travel iron. So sad. I would love to win this dreamy iron! (In the years before I became a quilter I never would have imagined that an iron would make me swoon.)
wordygirl at earthlink dot net
Quilters dream of great irons. Remember when we used to dread ironing sheets for beds and men’s shirts. Now we will spend hours ironing yars of beautiful fabric and not think twice, but oh to have a great iron wouldn’t that be heaven. I buy $4 bargains and toss them when they burn out. Someone will be very lucky.
I’ve been thinking of purchasing a new iron since my old one doesn’t work very well . . . winning this Osilo would be super terrific and I wouldn’t have to make a decision about what iron to purchase!
My last 2 irons I bought at Thrift Shops. I would really like to try that lovely Osilo. Then maybe I could make something as cute as your bunny.
Love Henrietta Whiskers. The bunny pillow is so cute.I sure could use that new oliso iron,I’m always forgettin to turn mine off
Sew cute, Anne! The pillow is great. I especially like the photo of it next to your cute little dog. As for the iron, I’ve never owned an iron that costs more than $20 so I’d love to find out what I’ve been missing all this time. What a generous giveaway! Someone is going to be one lucky duck!
I love reading your posts. They always make me smile. Can’t tell you how many times over the years I’ve looked back at the pictures of your sewing studio. Such inspiration!
I would love to win the Oliso, because not only is it a smart iron, it also looks smart (sharp)!!! And I can use all the help I can get ;} Love your patterns, they are so peaceful looking with the soft colors.
Love, love, love the pillow. is there a pattern? i would love to win the iron and make such pillow. you always have the best stuff! your new little grandbaby is one lucky little lady!
Anne,
What a fun post! My son (yes, I said my son) dropped my rowenta on the tile floor when he actually ironed his own clothes for an ettiquette/dinner for the young adults in the neighborhood. I have been researching a few irons to see what to replace it with. Perfect timing to see your post. I’m so impressed with the video on the website. It would be great to win 1, but I will order 1 if I’m not the lucky winner. It looks awesome! THANKS!
( I can’t imagine a bed without a few furry fellows to cuddle with! Yours are adorable!) Congratulations on the grand daughter thats coming. We had our 1st 2 grand kids born this last year. ( both girls) Being a grandma is AMAZING!
I would so love the Oliso iron! I’ve heard great things about it and my current iron is a real “drip.” Thanks for the contest!
I love your bunny pillow!!
Pick me Pick me….I’d love to try that iron
Congratulations on the grandchild. What is there not to love about your website and patterns I wait patiently for emails to come through. I would love to win the iron and probably be the first person in Australia to win one as I do not think they are available here yet. Thank for sharing your creative life with us.
Hi – I would so love the iron as I work on yo-yo ville! Love your patterns including Tisket a Tasket. Keeping my fingers crossed – at least when I’m not sewing!
Love your little sachets! Love your Bunny pillow! Love your site! AND would LOVE to win the iron. Thanks for all you do!
Anne, Thank you for all the information & links about this marvelous Oliso iron. I have a 12 year old Rowenta iron that I can’t afford to get rid of no matter how bad it acts! I would really enjoy using this iron. It was so amazing how it pressed pant cuffs. I would appreciate winning this iron but I will just be saving my money for this helper. Thank you.
Ohhhhh MY! My old Oliso iron is SO tired that it is no longer able to jump up & down in excitement when I grasp it. Sadly – it just sits there, silent, not moving (have I lost my touch?). Sure wish there were little blue pills to make irons come back to life (much like they make for the male species) – but then iron manufacturers would never have to improve on their designs – so I guess it is a case of being careful for what you wish. I just bet the NEW, improved, YELLOW Oliso needs no additional help in the ‘stand up & notice me’ category. Happy sewing!
The bunny pillow is just too cute and love the idea of the pockets!
Now, who wouldn’t want to win a fabulous iron like the Oliso. It is the ultimate dream iron, and I’d love to win one.
I’d also like to thank you for the cute Henrietta BOM’s. I can’t wait to get started on mine, now that I’ve decided on what fabrics I’ll use.
Love your post! I’d really like to win the Oliso iron and replace my sad cheapy leaking iron. If I don’t win I will just have to get myself an early birthday present! :)
Congratulations on your upcoming grandbaby! I know a baby that will be getting a very special Lily & Will quilt!
Hi Anne~ I just discovered your blog. I’m rather new to sewing and quilting. This craft has opened up a whole new world to me. It’s been fun exploring all the different sewing and quiliting sites. I just love your blog…so fresh and whimsical! Thank you for a chance at a giveaway. I did “hop” over to the Oliso website and their iron is awesome! I REALLY like the non-tilting feature. I can’t tell you how many times my cat has knocked over my iron from jumping up on my ironing board. This just may be the answer in changing my BAD cat in to a GOOD kitty :)
I am all steamed up over the oliso iron. Genius ! I may even look forward to ironing. Now if it could just find a way to help me from burning my fingers when pressing those seams.
I would love to win the iron because it is YELLOW! It would match my ironing boards. LOL! I love your blog. The pillow is so cute. I have fun looking at pictures of your pets. We have three cats and two dogs. Thank you for the give away.
Love the sachets – they are so pretty. Everyone should have a brand spanking new iron – love to win it.
Congrats to you for the new grandchild you’ll be getting soon. I have 8,3 girls and 5 boys. Love everyone of them. My son moved in with his family so 3 live with me and one of my daughter’s lives a block from my workplace and I see her daily along with her 2 boys. Lucky grandmother. Santa was a little short of cash last holiday so will have to add to my wish list. That iron is amazing. Using it would make life easier especially since my uniforms require ironing for work. It would certainly make my sewing easier, too. I would like to win the iron to reduce the ironing time so I have more time to do the sewing and other crafts for the grandchildren. Thank you for the opportunity to enter my name in this contest
The Oliso Smart Iron would fit right in my sewing space! Its ergonomic design would help my fabric fly from its bed of starchy water to be ironed dry to crispy perfection. For clarity I use an Ott-light, the very bestest light, to see; the perfect iron would make an ideal companion to my electronic tool station. So, please pick ME to be your winner! Thank you . . .
Oh, you don’t KNOW how I need a new iron. SOmehow the corner is broken on mine, and every time you hold it horitontally to use it, water pours out of some unknown place, soaking your project (or clothes) and your hands.
I need that new iron! :-)
I would love to have an iron that works,a nice dream anyway. I have a very old one in my sewing room that sorta does the job but a new cute yellow iron would be fabulous. Thanks for mentioning the lavender sachets. I have some dried lavender and will get on it right away.
Yep I’m your winner! I need a new iron to match my new sewing studio that I get to design at my new house…..see how well that fits?
BTW: I am loving that little lavender pillows out of charm packs idea!!! I’m totally in LOVE with pre-cuts!!
I love everything you do. The bunny pillow is wonderful. I would love to win the iron than maybe I wouldn’t burn anything ever again…. worst yet get any of those yucky brown spots.
With such a CUTE iron, certainly the dreaded task would actually be fun. :)
Inspired by your site, I’m off to make some darling sachets for Valentine’s Day gifts.
Thanks for sharing your endless talents.
XO,
Lori
Very cute pillow – when are you going to have the pattern?
I really could use a new iron. Mine leaks all the time all over my fabric so I can’t use steams at all. It has been dropped a couple of times — by me and my dog Fred– he got himself caught in the cord — it was off at the time — and he learned — he hasn’t been near it since! So please pick me!
I really need a new iron—please pick me–love your pillow……
I would love to have that iron, then I won’t have iron envy of my quilting friends. Thanks, Margaret
I just love the Oliso iron! I have Osteo Arthritis in my wrists and it will stop the repetitive action of uprighting the iron each time I need it! Wow! It’s amazing! I would so love an iron like that! I also love your blog and your website is fantastic – so warm and friendly!
Hi Anne,
I just adore your bunny pillow :)
I have a severely cracked iron…would you believe it still works though !!. So I’d love the iron though perhaps I’m too irresponsible LOL
Hugs, Sharon
I have a bunny that lives under the azaleas in my backyard. I have given it the name “Bunnyhill”. He is so much fun to watch as he nibbles around. I have a large gray fox squirrel that comes and robs the sunflower seeds from my birdfeeder. My husband has given this squirrel that name “Foxey”. We enjoy watching him hang on the side of the birdfeeder. Sometimes, birds will even be on the other side of the feeder while he is eating also! I love “Henrietta Whiskers” and I am working on my first block now! It would be wonderful to have that new OLISO to press my blocks as I go! Thank you for giving so much to all of us quilters!
Love the new bunny pillow, cant wait for the pattern, we love all your bunnies.
I would love to win the iron, my darling husband, is such a wonderful man, but he believes an iron is an iron, so black and decker is on my shelf, :(, so I am sure you know that this iron would be like a Bentley to me!!!
Thanks for all your wonderful patterns and for always sharing such fun patterns with us. You are such a giver and we all appreciate everything you do
I would love to win this iron. My current one leaks and my ironing board is not a pretty sight. It looks like a dream come true. Love this site.
I would love to win this iron. My current one leaks and my ironing board is not a pretty site. It looks like a dream come true. Love this site!
Hi Anne, sorry to post twice but please tell me you are putting out a patttern for the pillow, I think I would sleep with it, I’m sure my granddaughter would love it to put her little bunnies and bears Iam making for her, and no I haven’t tried sewing in bed but I do sew in my pj’s, Lorraine I
I’d like to thank you for all of your wonderful ideas. I plan on making the lavender sachets tomorrow – a wonderful way to spend my day off. I could have cried after watching the vidio of the iron. After so many years of struggling with my stinker of an iron, wouldn’t it be nice to use one that really does what I need it to do….I can dream can’t I?
What a fabulous blog! Of course I picked out the Bunnyhill PJ
Anne at first glance!! ;). What a fab give away! This iron just makes you want to create with that beautiful color. I am about to get to the end of my iron and would love to win this one!
I love every aspect of quilting and hand appliqué
and this little jewel would sure be a blessing.
Thank you !!!!
You have the best ideas! Love how you display them, too! Thanks for the generous giveaway – would love the chance to win! Been eyeing this iron for a while but have not had a chance to try it out! Thanks for the new block of the month, too! :o) Bari (ps were you in the lower right hand corner with the bunny slippers? :o)
My sewing room needs some cheering up and the bright yellow iron would do the trick! Thanks for all you so! You are such a wonderful person! Love everything you do! And the animals, lol dont even get me started on mine! They really think they are helping! God Love them !!
Hugs and Stitches
I’ve just started quilting and I have learned fairly quickly the importance of pressing seams correctly and ironing without stretching the fabric all crazy. This iron will help me out so much and then my husband will be grateful to get his clothes iron back….;P
I would love to win this iron so I could pass it to my daughter-in-law, who has an old leaky iron. They are on a limited budget and I know she would love to have a nice one. Thanks, Anne, for the opportunity.
i have tried a couple of times to leave a comment but it keeps rejecting so I hope this one gets through- I love your bunny slippers and your “miss me ” bunny so sweet. This iron looks like just what I NEED at the moment- my iron decided to die last weekend and took the power out for the whole house with it. I have had several scorched ironing boards and near misses with falling irons that this one would be ideal. thanks for the chance to win.
I would love to win the Oliso iron. I am so tired of buying irons that promise not to leak or spit steam, but end up doing so anyway.
Loved the sachet pillows. I can remember when everyone used them in drawers.
i just about wee’d myself when i saw the number of comments that were left!!! ack! thats crazy.
but i cant resist, that is one fab iron. ok, why do i want one? why wouldnt i, they are like butter, but in color and ironing!! such a pretty color it is too. why dont they make more stuff in pretty colors for women???
you are such a hoot. enjoyed this post muches
I love anything Bunny-ish….Thanks Emily Gail Wyett
Hi Anne
I would love a new iron. Mine is old and is leaving dark marks on my nice white tea towels that I want to embroider on some day when I find the extra time in the day. : )
Thanks
Susan
I love your website and all the projects that you have created. I would love to win the iron. My husband stole my iron because his iron died. He thinks that it is more important for him to have an iron to press his dress shirts for work than for me to have one for my quilting studio. What kind of weird logic is that? I have projects to finish! I really need to win that iron.
Thank you for all the inspiration you provide…Kathy Rusk
I love the bunny pillow especially the doggie treats pocket :o)
I’m having a fabulous time visiting all the ‘Pillow Talk’ blogs, what a great colour that iron is…

Hello Anne
I presently get your newsletter and love your items.
This iron looks to be a fantastic iron for someone with PsA. That is a form of Rheumatoid Arthritis. This year it has really affected my hands. I keep sewing & quilting, but moving slower since joints in hands & wrists are swollen.
Oliso is so very generous. Hopefully my name will be drawn.
Thank you so much for offering this opportunity.
Susan
I started your bom this time. It will be the first I’ve ever done. I would love to win this iron, because the one I have is at death’s door.
Hi Anne I always love getting mail from you with all the pretty pictures and a few animals thrown in. I love that iron, Icould really use a new one but haven’t found one I like yet, that might be the one, I have almost finished my first Henreitta block, so cute, I love squirels ans have them in my bird feeders, thank you for all the up-lifting messages, Lorraine Isaac
Hi love everything Anne Sutton does on her web-site and blog. I’m currently working on Rabbits Prefer Embroidery. I also would love to win the Oliso SmartIron Pro. I’ve used my girlfriend’s and absolutely loved it!
I would love a new iron that comes with a high recommendation from you. You would know what makes a good iron. In the past five years I have bought three irons and spent quite a bit on them and really have not been satisfied with any. I want to thank you for the taffy you sent with my fabric which was tied up in a pretty pink bow. I felt I had received such a sweet gift from you.
I’d like to win because my local quilt shop uses an Oliso for their classes and it’s a great workhorse! Always ready and hot.
Ooooooo, I need a new iron! Mine is on its last leg and takes forever to get the steam to work, if it works at all. What a great opportunity to try something new and get a replacement for my old, tired, wornout iron. Thanks!
Wow, what an awesome iron! I’d love to win an iron meant for crafters, not just for flattening clothing. Having more control over the steam especially would be fantastic.
That is one happy iron, and I love happy things! I am teaching intermediate school age girls to quilt and maybe if they knew irons come in bright yellow, they would use them more. They just don’t visit the ironing board as often as they should while piecing. Of course, if I won that delightful iron, they could only see photos of it! It looks like a fabulous product! Thanks for sharing it with us.
I love the Oliso iron! I’ve had one several years. My daughter keeps asking for mine, so please send me one to take its place. I may be old, but not old enought to give mine to my daughter without having another to replace! Mary
I have never owned a great iron and really would like one. Thanks, and maybe it will be me.
I would LOVE to win the beautiful iron because for a number of years I’ve had nothing but a succession of ugly irons! The reason: I still use the wooden ironing board that my mom bought when she got married in 1932. The ironing board is not pretty, it’s very rickety, and in a few places is being held together with cord. However, it’s perfectly serviceable, and I see no need to replace it. But most important, my mom, who passed away 42 years ago at the age of 55, spent many hours using this ironing board, and I remember her standing at it in our kitchen in Jersey City when I was a wee little kid. Anyhow, because the ironing board is so rickety, the irons wobble off it, fall to the floor and break. So I go through about three irons a year. I never buy an expensive replacement, because I don’t expect them to have a very long life. BUT – if I win the beautiful iron up for grabs in your contest – I PROMISE to take good care of it and not let it tip off the board! Yours truly, Cathy Fernandez, New Jersey
I love to have a premo iron like the Oliso!
Would love to win the Oliso because I can’t afford to buy one!
what a wonderful blog, wonderful projects, wonderful pillow talk guests and of course a WONDERFUL give away!
Oh, man, that iron is awesome! would love to win it because I currently am using an iron I bought at Goodwill, and well, it just isn’t anything to write home about.
Love your site and look forward to your monthly news letter.
I would love to win the Iron, I am learning to quilt and my iron is lacking in steam, leaks!
I have read on other blogs, and yahoo groups that this is the most coveted iron to own. I hope I win.
Thanks for all the support.
Gwen Z
I love your website and since this is the year of the Rabbit..this is your year!
I just found out that I too am going to be a grandmother. this is my first grandchild and i am over the moon. I will probably make every baby quilt you design.
I have been saving for an oliso since my friends have them and rave about them. Now I am going to have to put that savings aside for airfare to visit my grandchild in New York as often as possible so I would LOVE to win the iron.
Thanks also for the free pattern provide. It is so generous of you.
Your cats and dogs are adorable and I have no idea where you find room in your bed to sleep! The Oliso iron is sooo much fun-we have one at the quilt shop where I worked and I loved it. You are going to make someone very happy :)
Love all your pets and the picture of you sewing in bed! I would love to win the iron as mine is leaking water onto the shirts as I iron and the Oliso look so sleek & modern. Thank you. from Jenny McH
Oh wow! I want that iron! I love the safety features! My little girl just learned how to walk and having an iron (even on off iron) that wont slip off the board if she bumps into it would be great and give me a few more seconds to run over and snatch her up! Also that it turns off after 8 minutes! thats AWESOME! what a smart iron!
I would love to win a new iron since my current iron is definitely NOT a smart iron. It gets mad at me and spits all the time. A quilting life without steam is challenging .
That is the coolest iron ever! I must live a sheltered life to have not seen this before. I would give that neat Oliso a fabulous new home! I baby my current iron – not out of love, but necessity. You see, it leaks it’s entire water tank all over my ironing board EVERY time. But I need the steam for my quilting. What’s a girl to do, but to continue mopping up every time I fill the tank! oh, and enter this awesome giveaway. I would totally prefer to baby my iron out of love and not necessity! :0)
PS, the bunny pillow is an excellent idea, though my love of my life would still have challenges finding the remote! My daughter would steal it to dress it up in doll clothes!
Well, after 70 years I just got tuned into the yellow that is in our appliances so this would be perfect to blend right in, other than it is one of the top of the line irons and as I keep making quilts/purses/etc. a great iron is certainly needed.
Congratulations to you on being a new grandma – I can see the sewing machine heating up from lots of action.
You continue to have amazing ideas – your new Christmas blocks being the latest. Thanks for deciding to do this for all of us.
That is a darling pillow! I am an iron snob and would love to try this one. I like my iron to steam and not leak — picky huh?
What an amazing giveaway. Oliso Iron. I have many Bunny Hill Patterns and made many quilts. What a great idea to make sachets with charm squares. You are an inspiration…
I would love to make the sachets with the new iron :) Maybe if I had a decent iron, I might even like setting seams :)
I just wish I would win an iron since I never quite know what to look for or to buy when I am looking. I am obviously iron naievet. They either don’t get hot enough, leak, or shoot the whole wad of water in one place. Help!! What am I doing wrong?
Would love to win this iron! I used one before at Martha Pullen’s sewing school and loved it! I loved the way it just pops up!!
Hugs,
gina
I love your website and your newsletters. I made a few of the Snowmen blocks this winter and will work some more soon. Henrietta will be perfect for my little granddaughter! I would love to win the iron. I am teaching 4 little girls, ages 8-11, how to sew/quilt and am trying to make sure they have opportunity to see and/or use the very best materials available. Thank you again for all you do for the quilting world.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE your designs…and that iron would be soooo great to use for my quilting…hugs and kisses to your animals as well.
I have been dreaming of having one of those irons since the first time I have seen it. Please make my dream come true.
lsandes@comcast.net
I feel very “iron challenged”! I’ve tried many brands, but they just don’t seem to last very long before they are rendered useless. One that I have not tried is the Oliso. Could this be my dream iron???? I sure would love to give it a try. Love the little lavender sachets…cute idea!
My Rowenta gave up the ghost and died.
I need a dependable iron and the Oliso looks like it will fit the bill.
Thank you – Lacy
I really don’t care for ironing, however, my husband loves it. Go figure. Maybe if I win the iron it would make ironing more enjoyable. I only like to iron if it is craft related. I really love your pillow. Thank you for the giveaway.
Pam
I can’t believe you sew in bed!! And on a cute pink sewing machine no less! I would love to win the iron. The stability provided by the auto lift system is just what I need with two curious cats and an inquisitive rabbit who visit my sewing room, even though they are not supposed to!
Wow, only thing that could make this iron better is if it were PINK!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for the giveaway and I love your blog.
Wow! You sure did get a lot of comments. I would love to win the iron. I don’t really like to iron and maybe this iron would help me get my work done. :) Funny though, I don’t mind ironing fabric for my quilting, but I don’t enjoy ironing shirts. Thanks for the chance to win. I do like your pillow too.
Any iron that could make me love it muset come to my house!!!! I have heard such marvelous things about this one I know it will have a good home here….altho it will have to work for its keep!!
I’d love to win the iron because I live in terror that Charlie the cat, who loves to jump up and sit on the ironing board as I’m ironing, will be burned when the iron is standing up. I’ve turned away to continue sewing and found him snuggled up next to it! It must be the warmth. I don’t like the idea of a singed Charlie!
I love the pillow idea. Bunnies are my favorite so I am always looking for new ideas. The Oliso iron looks great, like it is from the future (reminds me of the Jetsons…LOL) and it’s smart too. I would love to win this one. That would make ironing easier and safer. I always look forward to opening your emails. Thank you very much.
Your pillow is adorable – and congrats on the new baby news! How exciting. Take care….
I love the “sewing in bed” picture! Your dogs are adorable. Tell them my 3 golden retrievers say “HI”. My 3 goldens make it impossible for me to sew in bed. The largest one weighs 133 lbs. and the smallest weighs 99 lbs. I would love to see the Oliso iron in action. I love new gadgets. This iron is one I would love to have. Some day I will outfit a new sewing room with all of the latest and greatest sewing gadgets. For now sewing on a small desk in the livingroom is better than on the diningroom table. What does your sewing space look like? The idea of Pillow Talk is a good one! Thanks!
Can’t decide which I would love to win more – the iron or anything that you designed. Love your blog and all the inspiration you provide. And the iron, I have wanted one of these for quite a while and have tried very hard to break my current one to justify buying a new one. Keeping my fingers crossed.
Finally- an iron for klutz’s. I have had to replace 2 tiles in my floor because of the iron sliding off the board due to my accidently hitting it! This would be a dream – and my husband would be happy to hang up his tiling repair kit!!!Love all of your projects – I just love bunny’s too – although I admit I don’t have a pair of those cute slippers!!
It has been years since I have had a decent iron. This one looks like a dream. Thanks for all of your great and beautiful ideas. I love coming to your site.
Hi Anne!
This will be my 7th attempt to post. Your site has been so busy!
I adore those cute little lavender pillows. What a great idea for Valentine’s Day. Thanks so much for that inspiration. I also love the Oliso iron! I am so bad about leaving my iron on between jobs…This is just what I need to keep from burning my house down.
I love your jammies and your pink FW. Above all, your site fills my heart with youth, laughter and joy! Thanks so much.
Love,
Mary
Strange as it may seem or seams, I love to iron. It’s like resolving conflict, watching all the wrinkles disappear! So a new iron would be awesome to have and I would give it a good home! PS-just discovered your web-siteand loving it!
Anne I just love your blog and BOM you do every year! Thank you so much for sharing your time and talent with the rest of the quilting world. I love the smell of lavender. About the Oliso…what’s not to love? Seems like every iron I buy, even the high end models start spitting and sputtering in no time at all. I would love to try the Oliso. I have seen them demonstrated a few times and they just look so neat. I hope you pick me! Thanks for the give away!
Need a new iron and would live an Oliso.
Pat H.
I am SOOOO desperate for a decent iron! They don’t get hot enough…they don’t steam enough…I’m so frustrated,I could spit, just like the iron I’ve got now! Boy, would I love to win this! ;-)
I wuld love to win tne Oliso smart iron!!
I think sewing in bed is the only way I will ever get all of the quilt projects I want to make finished.
Please, please, please pick my owner for the iron…. It will get me out of the doghouse! (Since I am a cat this is not a good place to be.)Do you know how many times I have dumped the iron on the floor so I could get comfy on the warm, padded ironing board? A few too many to make it work properly. It is either scorching hot or off…… I’m sure she would make me my own little bed if she had an great iron.
PS – I also love the new Henrietta squirrel quilt this year! I can sit (on the ironing board of course) and watch squirrels all day!
Oh, my! How it´s possible that I always come back here and find some awesome news??
I’m becaming addicted in that bunny and hope never get cured!
If I’m that lucky winner of this fancy iron, I’llspent the whole weekend doing what I love the most…appliqué projects!
I love the new 2011 bunny hill project! Collecting fabric for it now. I’d love the Oliso, because my Black and Decker is on its last legs.
I love your website and your patterns. I would love to win the iron because I am tired of replacing irons every year or two because they quit working. This sounds like a wonderful, reliable iron.
Love the lavender sachets! I remodeled my bathroom and use baby pink towels — I really need that jar of sachets!
And I really need the Oliso iron — I scorch everthing! I’m always buying a new ironing board pad!
Well, that iron sounds wonderful and I’d love to win it as my old one is in pretty bad shape. However, if I don’t win it, at least I know which one to buy when I go out shopping. Thanks for bringing that to our attention and for having such a lovely blog.
Goin’ to make the easy lavender sachets. Perfect little gifts.
I definitely need a new iron. Yesterday.
Wishing the best to the new addition to the family!!
I have recently gotten the chance to have a sewing room!!! And this “WAY COOL” iron would look AWESOME in there! Plus the color matches the colors in my room, Yellows, light greens and of course PINKS too!!
Got my toes and fingers crossed!!
Lisa L
I just discovered your website through a link to the quilting board. I really like your designs and patterns. So many of them have been completed and displayed on the quilting board by its members, and they are beautiful and inspiring! Thank you for sharing your creativity with the rest of us. I think the iron offer is fabulous and I would love to win it. It would help give a professional look to my quilting and sewing projects. God bless you for your generosity to others and congratulations to whomever does win the iron. They will think of you each time they use it! Happy quilting, Peggy.
My 92 pound chocolate lab owns the sofa. I do not sew in bed but I often sew in pajamas. And the iron! Auto lift, self cleaning, anti drip – what’s not to love.
I love your blog and website and your generosity.
Thank you.
What perfect timing, I’m on the look out for a new iron. This would be a perfect fit into my sewing room. Pick me!
Love the creativity on this blog! I really could use that new iron. It’s yellow….easy to find in my creative clutter. Plus, my very old (barely functional) iron is held together with blue tape. Pick me!
Your bunny is so precious and useful to boot. The iron is outstanding. I’d sure love to give it a try. I believe Henrietta Whiskers and I could put it to good use. Thanks for the chance to win. =!=
we have a quilter in the house and are ironer is not good at all!made by:a 7 year old .my mom would realy opreciate it thank you!
I would love that iron. I don’t have an iron to travel with that would be awesome. Love the bunny pillow…very cute.
Why do I want to win this iron?? Who in their right mind wouldn’t??!! If it makes the job easier I am all for it… pick me!!
I love your pillow!! What a very clever idea.
I so enjoy looking at all your patterns; and somehow dreaming that I could possibly get them all done! I am so in love with applique; but because I have familial essential tremors, I have extreme difficulty with the fine handwork involved.
I would love to win the Oliso, I am constantly searching for the ‘very best’ iron for all my projects. thanks for the opportunity to win one.
My sew group meets once a month and at every meeting time the need for a new iron will come up, especially when the old one starts sputtering. We talk bad about the old iron for awhile and it’s forgotten about until next meeting time. I’ll Queen for the Day if I walk in with a new iron especially one as beautiful as this Oliso iron!
Picking a new iron is always exasperating…winning one would solve that problem!!! All I had to see was the number of vents on the sole plate!
I always enjoy reading your blog entries! Thanks!
I love the Oliso Smartiron and desperately need one. If I don’t win I will probably buy one, that’s how much I like it. What a great concept. Plus, my husband dropped my good iron and now I am using a spare that really doesn’t work that well. It slid off the ironing board and that won’t happen with the Oliso. I enjoy your website and especially the yearly BOMs. I don’t know the criteria for winning the iron but it would make me one happy quilter so I am crossing my fingers.
I love your blog site and am always so excited about your patterns. I have been looking at irons for years sa mine is in bad shape…I never really get to the point of actually getting one as it is so hard to figure out which one is really as good as it is rated as someone likes something about alot of different irons…wish they came with trial runs…anyway the pure pleasure and joy of winning something I need would make me happiest..I believe it is the little things in life that mean the most…thank you!
I would love to win this iron, as my old friend went kaput last week. I have heard wonderful things about this product and would be a proud owner.
The bunny pillow is so cute! I can imagine other animals ‘appearing’ in this way.
I would love to win the iron. I have been using the same iron for 30+ years….it will probably give up its ghost any time now.
I would LUV to win this iron because I’m sick of my Rowenta’s spitting and generally acting up. I’ve had it with those guys and am willing to try ANY other iron especially one with great features. I’m going to make all your quilts because I love CUTE! Thanks so much for your great designs.
I would love to win the iron! Id use it to try and make everything on your blog. Everything is soooo cute! And btw my iron sucks! Thanks, Beth N.
I love the yellow iron!!! Love all colored appliances. Thanks for all your wonderful designs and ideas. I love the lavender sachets made out of charm squares. Wonderful!
I recently discovered your site after reading about your designs on another blog I follow (a lovely lady in Germany, who stitches similar projects to what I like to do). I love your various quilt patterns, and have subscribed because I love your Henrietta Squirrel quilt BOTM. I am looking forward to making this quilt for my second granddaughter, who is just 5 months old right now.
Congratulations on your upcoming family addition! I love being a grandma–I have three grandkids so far–and wouldn’t trade it for the world!
Oh, my gosh! That is a smart iron. It takes care of things I didn’t even think of asking for. If I win this iron, I will probably go through our closets looking for things to put on the ironing board. If I don’t win it, well…. my birthday is not too far off! Love your site, and this post made me feel very cozy. Keep up the good work.
When I was at Road to CA I saw this iron being demonstrated it was fantastic! I would love to have an iron that actually worked well all the time.
I would LOVE to win the Oliso; I am on my 2nd of a popular brand and they have been disasters with spitting, leaking etc. A quilter friend has an Oliso recommends and LOVES it! I have enjoyed your Tisket ‘A Tasket, Snowbound and now the Whiskers patterns! Keep up the good work.
I love your pillow! A new granddaughter…How exciting. I’m sure she will get a special quilt. I would love to win the Oliso iron. I’ve seen it advertised and would love to use one. Thank you for all the great things you do for all of us quilters.
Hi Anne,
Boy, do I need an iron! Mine fell off of the ironing board and broke one of it’s legs. It still works, but has a lean. Your iron looks awesome. I love pink too and love the pink sewing machine! I love your idea for the lavender sachets and am going to make some for little Valentine gifts. Thank you for the free BOM each year. My little quilting group is stitching them. :)
Connie
Dear Mrs. Bunny Hill!
Well I am all about COLOR and it has to be CUTE!!! And this iron covers both of those requirements! I want that iron for my new studio and what a fun conversation piece to have WON it! It would be a treasure to have it always sitting out for all to see! The features of the iron are awesome and I particularly like the fact that it has a POINTED tip for applique projects.
I have about 10 of your patterns which started with the Chocolate Bunny quilt and am now working on YOYOVILLE (I’ve made 201 yoyo’s so far for the queen size version–all done in the car on road trips)! YOU are so generous to post such CUTE FREE patterns on your website, thank you! Please DESIGN some cute PJ’s for us–we’d LOVE it! Where did you get those bunny slippers? Love all your patterns, they touch my heart! Thanks for reading! Becky
thank you ann for all the delightful things you provide to make sewing sew much fun. Wish I had a wonder woman gene so that I could get more accomplished in a day. I think I would want an oliso iron because if you love it I think I would love it and I’v never had an iron that I love. So I think for the last 50 years of my life I should be able to enjoy ironing!! :) If it doesn’t leak I WANT ONE!! Janita
Oh Anne! Love those precious pink sachets. The main reason I need to be the one that wins that iron is – – – I iron everything! It’s becoming a lost art. I used to iron for $1 an hour when I was young. I would iron for 5 hours to earn $5! A good iron for a quilter is her best tool! Well, almost. We have so many favorite tools that we simply couldn’t do without. Love you – Love your creativity. Thanks for all you wonderful patterns and fabrics. As quilters, we are blessed. My fingers are crossed.
Why would I love this iron, let me count the ways.
It’ll keep me warm on lonely nights.
I would use it to make warm gifts for people(quilts).
I truly think a good iron is so important in making our projects turn out better!
Thinking warm thoughts of winning:)
I actually gave my iron away to a couple of guys so they could iron their clothes for church. It was more important to them then it was to me at the time. I now use my DD iron and I am sure she would like it back at least sometime. We live with her now so it is not as bad as it sounds, and I have taught her how to quilt. I would love to win the Oliso iron. Thank you for giving us a chance to win.
Thanks for the giveaway! My niece left her Oliso with me while she winters in Arizona. I absolutely love it! It makes pressing so easy and sharp! I’m going to be very sad when she returns in the spring; not that she’s back but that she will reclaim her wonderful Oliso iron and I’ll have to go back to using my old one. Can you see why I really need to win an Oliso of my own? Thanks again!
I love your patterns and how easy they are to follow. Would really love the new iron, I hate to use my iron, I have arthritis in my hands and it is so cumbersome. This new iron sounds like a quilter’s and sewers’ dream. Look forward to your bom each month.
Why do I need the Oliso iron? Because I have an iron addiction! I am probably the only person who goes to the store and drools over irons…. ( and I only own 1, how is that for will-power?!)
Oh lovely patterns.. HOW did you know I need a new iron? I’ve looked at this one so many times, but— Besides I need it to keep my fur babies’ clothes ironed.. YES, I have fur babies..Zoe the Boxer has her own couch!! Took it from me, so had to get another one..lol Another has her own chair, kitties sleep wherever, ALL in my bed at night. ;-) Thanks for the gift..
Oh my, L O V E those sachets – going to pull all my pink charms out and start sewing! Please enter me in your drawing for the iron. I bought a “good” iron a few years ago and it spits water all the time leaving puddles of water on my ironing board and fabric. Would love to have a new one!
I would love to win the iron, because there’s no money left in the “iron” account. I’ve had so many, with so many promises broken, and so much money spent, that I just don’t have the heart to bet on another one. My husband is on anti-iron patrol at the front door, so winning is the only way a new iron will get into the house.
I am always a day late and a doller short. I was downloading Henrietta Whiskers and saw there was a Pillow Talk hop. I have this iron. Whoever wins it, will love it. Thank you for all the ideas.
I enjoy e-mails from Bunny Hill b/c I enjoy your patterns! I LIKE to iron! I’d rather iron than vacuum! This looks like a wonderful iron…both for clothing & for quilting!
THANKS 4 a great giveway! :)
Oh My Goodness! Not only do I love the bright yellow, but like you I love my 4 legged babies…but they’re not always safe near or with my quilting “toys”. My Viking bit the dust due to my curious kitty a few years ago, and the most recent pair of irons I bought a few years ago have gradually fallen apart…literally, like tinkertoys! Then recently, the one left semi alive got dropped…on my basements cement floor…and…well…the top of the handle won’t snap together right anymore so I’m pressing and fusing while holding the loose piece just right with my hand…arrgh! I love how this iron sits safely without having to sit upright and is therefore much less likely to take a spill off the ironing board if one of my loved ones happens to hop up or bump into it!
Heck yeah! I’d love to win a new iron!
Ode To A New Iron
I would love to win an iron
It would be so pretty neat
I would iron all my sockies to put on my funny feet
You see my iron is in turmoil :(
The steamer, Oh it Leaks !!
It would be nice to steam away all my Bunny Hill Applique
So if you choose me for this gift, my gratitude will not go away, because I am a big Fan of Bunny Hill Applique.
Such great pictures and ideas…I must make a “batch” of those sachets! Thanks for the chance to win the fabulous iron, mine is in sad condition.
I have gone through sooo many irons. I have had “iron” on my shopping list for months but don’t even know what to buy. I have looked and looked at reviews and have always chosen the wrong one. I would love to have this iron and see if it really is the ONE! Thanks!
I have wanted this iron for years but couldn’t justify buying it because I have 2 very good irons. I have always had a bad habit of leaving the iron down on the ironing while adjusting fabric and thought this iron was perfect.
Henrietta Whiskers will be my first attempt at Applique Quilting! I would love the Oliso Iron to make the quilt “just perfect”!
Anne, you are such a creative inspiration to me! I have made several of your BOM’s, most recently I am beginning “Henrietta” and getting such a kick out of her. I am also working on “Rabbits Prefer Choc.” This quilt is so special because I have been collecting ceramic chocolate bunnies for years and this quilt will be the perfect backdrop for all my bunnies.
I have been secretly wanting a new, super-duper Oliso iron for years, since I saw the gals using it on Fons & Porter quilt program. My iron gives me fits when it spurts out brown stuff all over my quilt blocks. (and I use distilled H2o!)
Thanks for the opportunity to win.
Nettie
You are such an inspiration. I absolutely love looking at your work and dreaming what I can do. I do have to say this ‘pillow talk’ blog was very good and humorous! A great idea from Ms Lissa. I hope I will be the grateful winner of the Oliso as my poor iron is spitting and it gets a bit frustrating when pressing something pretty. May everyone’s February be wonderful.
How could anyone not love that sunny yellow iron?!! It would be “best of show” to use it to whip up some lavender sachets.
And Westminster is just around the corner–television for our furry friends, so they can see their furry friends.
Hello There, Absolutely love your website and patterns! I am in desperate need of a good reliable iron with the bells and whistles. I have dropped my iron soo many times and i have also bought and returned some too. Would love the chance to win the iron and bonus material as well. Plus i have a birthday coming up in march so what wouldnt be better than a wonderful iron!! Happy Quilting!!
I love your designs and I finally started downloading Henrietta Whiskers patterns today – So cute! The iron looks like a dream. I have an old iron I have used forever. It sputters and squirts at times and I would love to win that great iron. Thanks for the chance.
The skies here in RI have been so gray and the ground white with snow and yet when I look at these “Pillow Talk” Blogs I see warm, inviting colors which make me want to run to my local quilt shop and buy fabric to sew!! I love the iron. I went on their website and am so impressed with what this iron can do…it makes ironing look fun! Keep up the good work, your website is incredible!
Love the big bunny pillow…..need one of those for me.
I always enjoy your blog enteries and your website. Would love to have an Oliso…..I seem to have the worst luck finding a good iron that gets hot, doesn’t spit and steams. A great giveaway from one of my favorite designers….thank you.
I am so wanting that lovely little iron. Your posting is so very sweet, I loved the little sachets. I like to make those also, yours look so sweet. Must be the photo…. mine surely never look as sweet as yours.
I love the great ideas you come up with – they just shout at me to hurry and make them! I especially love the sachets! Of course I would love to win the iron – I had my iron setting on my ironing board and my cat jumped up on it – down went the iron (which was on its last leg anyway but kept on working [usually] – s new one not in my budget) and the cat. Thankfully they landed in different spots – – well, just let me say – that iron is history! But the good news is Boo, my cat, survived!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
I’ve been researching & researching trying to find an iron to replace my older one that just will not get a crisp result while pressing. I would be so blessed to win this iron! Thank you for the fun!
I always enjoy your blog, website, patterns, etc. Thanks for sharing with all of us. I would love to win this iron because I need a new one and this one sounds like it’s the best (which I can’t afford right now!) My husband and I both us my iron daily. Winning this one would be a treat for both of us. He usually irons our church clothes on Sunday morning while I am getting our family ready for church. Isn’t he the best!!
I would LOVE to win this iron. I’ve always had inexpensive (cheap) irons & I would love to have this one, especially after seeing it in action on the video. Not to mention, the iron I have now is on it’s deathbed. Thanks for the giveaway!
twelve30@gmail.com
OMG…where do I start… Thank you for such a cute quilt for 2011 Mrs. Anne.
Congrats on becoming a new Grannie soon! That’s gonna keep you hopping.
The OLISO iron…what a dream come true. Love, love, love it:)
First…the color is perfect for my sewing room. Bright & Cheery.
second…Can you say safe?
* Auto turn on/off
* Laying flat on board reduces chance of falling off
And it’s ergonomic. Great for us “Mature” sewers.
It is the attention to detail that I love about this iron. I would be honored to receive it in.
Pati
P.S….Love that detailer benefit. Saves “HOT” fingers.
I love your website and enjoy seeing all the beautiful things from Moda and the lovely threads. I’m always look for the perfect iron and think this is the one from Oliso, thanks for the chance to win one. Happy Quilting, Kitty
First off I want to say… I HATE IRONING! I only do it because I have to! If there is an iron out there that someone loves and makes it this task more enjoyable – SIGN ME UP!
My nice iron caught fire last year and almost caught my sewing room on fire. That would have been horrid, but God was good and saved everything just in time! I am now using a cheap iron until I can get a new one. If I won this it would be such a blessing! THanks for doing this giveaway. I’ll cross my fingers.
Lisa
I love your blog, but hate, hate, hate to iron. I would love to win this iron to make that chore easier.
When I went to visit my sister last year in Texas she took me to her friends house to see how she organizes her sewing space. Her friend talked up and down the street about how much she loved her Oliso iron. I had just bought a new iron, so I couldn’t justify getting a new one and forgot all about it. Since then the steam function has gone out on my iron…arrggg! When I saw your email it reminded me of that coveted iron in Texas. Oh I hope I am lucky enough to win!
First of all I want to thank you for the wonderful BOM patterns that you so graciously share with us each month!! I would LOVE to win the Oliso Smartiron I have heard great things about it and I would LOVE to use it for myself on my many quilt projects.
Thanks for the chance to win.
Love all the things you do. I always enjoy the free BOM and reading your blog. Yes, I would love to win the iron. It looks like a wonderful product (and I’m always interested in something new to try).:) Thanks for a great website and blog!
I love your work, it is always so soft and warm looking – makes me smile. The bunnies are adorable. I have a bunny pincushion my Mother gave me years ago that i love. i would love to win the iron, I am so hard on irons and have never found one that last for me…..marilyn
I LOVE the bunny pillow and especially the lavender sachets. Will start sewing a couple for friends as soon as I finish this post. I have not tried the Oliso iron, but have been looking and pondering about whether to purchase it or not. I have not been able to find it locally, I guess winning one would be EVEN BETTER.
The Oliso Iron needs to be with me
I know from a lot of research it will set me free.
From having to remember to shut my old iron off
this way I won’t have to worry when I leave to go play golf!
So I will jump and shout and tell everyone the news
The Oliso Smart Iron Pro is so much fun to use.
It is bright and yellow and stands on its own feet
without a doubt it is really sweet!
I will be so glad to have changed my luck
please make me the winner of this great new product!
IRON, I’ve always said that iron is not a four letter word. I still use my iron for more than quilting and would love to win a new one with such great features.
Thank you, Anne. Your creativity and bit of whimsy in your patterns is a delight. I made the Snowmen block of the month and I’m looking forward to completing Henrietta Whiskers. Since pressing seams during construction of a quilt is important, I’d love to win the iron.
Look forward to meeting you someday at In Between Stiches in Livermore.
Love the handy Bunny pillow, it’s just the ticket for remotes.
I got to use an Oliso iron at a quilt retreat and just loved the way it glided over the fabric. So smooooth. Unfortunately it wasn’t there the next year. I was looking forward to using it again. If I win it, I’d get to use it everyday. That would really be something to look forward to
I need a new iron! Mine is being held together with painters tape of all things.
I love how the iron has that little thing that makes it pop up so it won’t scorch anything if left on its plate. I know, very silly reason!
Oliso irons are a phenomenon in the industry. With what else can you cast aside the iron and not scorch the pad?? Nice!!
I really, really would love the Oliso because I am the queen of steam. I iron everything and my 4th Rowenta in 4 years has quit on me. It’s leaking water & spitting rust on my applique. I love the latest Henrietta Whiskers! Any tips for removing rust stains from a spitting iron?
What an opportunity for a great iron. I would love to win the latest “pro” model. I have an older model and love it, but who doesn’t want a YELLOW iron to brighten their day. My daughter can inherit the older model if I’m lucky enough to win.
I would love an iron that lasts longer than a year. That would be terriffic. My granddaughter and I are going to make the lavender sachets for her mom for her birthday. Thanks for the idea
Yay on the grandbaby! I see lots of international travel in your future! I think you need one of those hospital type tables for sewing in bed. Enough room for a small ironing space, cutting mat and that pink beauty of yours. I’ve always wanted to have one of those Oliso irons! Thanks for the chance to own one.
ha! Your picture of sewing in bed actually looks enticing. True signs of the hard core quilter!
That cheery bright yellow iron speaks to me. Perhaps there is a dream iron after all!
Hi Anne!!! I want to win the iron because the iron is “cool” and so are you!!! Please pick me!!!
Katy
I would love to have that iron! I am such a klutz, I am always bumping my ironing board and try to retrieve my iron before it hits the floor. the Oliso would be wonderful!
This will be my third Bunnyhill BOM and I think Henrietta is just adorable!!! I would love to win that iron – you need an exceptional iron as a quilter!! Thanks Anne for all your wonderful patterns and your blog!
You have such an inspiring blog!
And that iron……..I have been wanting this perfect iron for so long!
Would LOVE to win it!
Thank you Anne and Thank you Oliso!
Jane
Love the new Iron….it looks so happy, would make any ironing fun!!! lol Wonders…does it come in red? ( have not checked the web site yet) But hey If not yellow is so sunny and fun!
Love the bunny pillow. I’d love to win the iron. Mine was knocked off the ironing board by my husband in the night and now leaks.
Just discovered your blog and loving it. And about the iron – I detest ironing, and if this baby will make me like ironing even a teensey-weensey bit, then it’s a hit with me! Thanks for telling us about the iron. Can’t wait to see who wins. (fingers crossed) dmj53(at)hotmail(dot)com
Anne,
I heard about this iron the end of last year and just drooled. I literally daydreamed what it would be like to do my fusible appliques with this dynamo. But, alas, we are on a tight budget and my iron is not broken yet – (shall I have the kids knock it on the floor again? Yes, the water tank cracked, rendering steam impossible, but it still gets hot.) I will feel like Cinderella, (after she became a princess), if I win this Oliso iron. :)
What a sweet post! I can’t get enough of those cute pink sachets and I’d love to win that SMART iron. I have bought 3 irons in the past 2 years and can’t seem to find one I love. This one is surely it! Thanks for the chance to win!
What I love about your blog and your patterns is that everything is first class – beautiful to look at and beautiful
Thank you for offering this great iron! Love the colors they come in. The sachets are the cutesy thing, have to make some of those! Your pink sewing machine is absolutely adorable. Thanks again.
Nora
Love your blog. And love all your wonderful ideas. I should be so lucky to be creative. I would also like to win the new iron, I haven’t seen one personally, but have seen it on some quilting shows. Thank you for the giveaway!
What a cool iron…it sure would be nice to have such a nice piece of craftsmanship to I can get rid of my leaking, spitting, too hot iron that I have to fight with!
Thanks so much for the chance to win and introducing me to this beautiful OLISO iron.
Happy Sewing
Oh that wonderful iron could do wonders to alleviate my ‘Quilter’s Elbow’ I bet! Thanks for the chance to win one (-:
What a delight to view your website with all of the incredible items you have created. I don’t know where to start. Our neighbor’s granddaughter is expecting her 2 baby girl which makes the burp clothes a a perfect gift. The Bunny pillow is exactly what my husband of 51 years Feb. 8 needs along with that wonderful iron. Gary is from the generation of pressed clothes. Because he is so particular he presses all of his clothes and MINE too. We have shared so much over these 51 years the Oliso iron would be a wonderful addition. Gary could use the iron for pressing and I for quilting. Thanks for all of the great ideas and the opportunity to win an Oliso iron.
I just love reading your web site. You have such wonderful ideas and pretty things. I have many of your patterns. Keep up the good work. Thanks for sharing so much with us. I love to iron my daughter & friends think I am “nuts” (sorry Heneritta) but I’d love to be using a new iron.
Great blog & a wonderful website.
Ohh! An Oliso iron! Fantastic give-a-way. I had used a Rowenta which I loved until it began to leak! The Oliso looks to be a very sturdy iron with great features. Of course the best feature is the “feet”. One really needs an iron with feet. LOL
Cheers,

Love to win the iron – always had a Rowena but lately they aren’t as good as they used to be
Greetings! While I loved looking at all your pretty doo dads, I really LOVED looking at all your furbabies. They’re all adorable! We have pets too, a dog we rescued from a shelter a few years ago, and two cats. Our dog Lucy has some issues from having been neglected and abused her first few years of life, but you know it’s amazing what a bit of love and compassion will do for an animal’s psyche. Anyway, I wanted to comment about the lovely new iron. It would be a blessing for me since I have both Fibromyalgia and Osteo-Arthritis. I am nowhere near giving up my obsession of quilting, but having a new iron would make the pressing of all those tiny seams so much easier and less painful. Thank you for your consideration. May you and yours be blessed! Julie
Hi Anne
What a lovely post. Just love those cute charm pillows. The iron is just so clever. I love the way you just leave the iron and it lifts itself up. So neat. Why I want to win? Well, it would mean hubby will have nice ironed shirts without the scorch marks on them (and yes that does happen!!). And I will have nicely ironed quilt tops :).
Thank you for the chance.
Hugs, Sue from Cyprus
I love this site, wonderful ideas and I am spending my weekend working on Henrietta Squirrel. It will look great in my classroom. We have a soft stuffed squirrel who sits with the students to listen to them read. I love the iron too. The new iron’s don’t heat the way the old ones did. Would love to have a new one.
Quilts, quilts, and more quilts! I absolutely need a good iron and am considered the local authority on which ones not to buy. I would love to have one of these.
Good Morning from cloudy rainy, but warm Florida. Thank you for your post today, so full of information. I would like to win the iron because I have gone through four different irons this year and have been very disappointed with each brand, one even being a Rowenta! Have a wonderful happy sewing day!
I can’t tell you how many irons I’ve gone through to find the perfect one – or one that even works well and lasts! Would love to win this one. Also, love the Henrietta Squirrel BOM – Thanks!
Oh do I need this iron – mine is a sorry sight and old as the hills!! Love the sachets.
Oh my! Sewing in bed? I am impressed I believe my husband would really protest. But what is the difference if I don’t come out of the sewing room till midnight or later? You have given me a new idea for my dil for valentines day. Those sachets are so cute and if in the shape of pink hearts (her favorites) all the better. I love the Oliso iron so much I need need need it!!
Thank you….
This iron looks very interesting and I thank you for the chance to win one.
Good Morning from snowy Elgin,Il. Thank you for your post today. The lavendar sachets — so simple and so elegant. I now have the perfect Valentines gift to make for my quilty friends and a cute wedding shower favor, too. I would love to win the iron — God bless the person who does. Have a great Saturday.
Kind regards
Theresa
Yes, I would so LOVE to win that iron. Love your site.
I love the Auto-Lift feature. It would be wonderful to have an iron that does push-ups, especially since I am so physically unfit. I have gone through 4 irons in the last 2 years. I don’t consider myself hard on irons. I just think I’ve been waiting for the right one to come along. A Smart Iron that does push-ups, what a combination, I think I’m in love.
I would love to win the Oliso Iron. I’ve been sewing for many years but have never really found an iron that I love. I will follow up on this particular iron whether I win or not. It would be so nice to have an iron that actually worked well. I love your website and your blog. Thanks for sharing for Moda’s Pillow Talk — so fun and so interesting!!
Your bunny pillow is adorable!
Right now Hubby and I are sharing an iron that is almost dead. The steam no longer works and that is sad. I’ve been looking at that iron ever since I saw it on Fons & Porter. Love the way it lifts up when you are done.
My iron just stopped heating last week so I need an iron. I have watched the Oliso on the Fons and Porter Show and it looks like a good iron.
I would love to win an Oliso “dream” iron. I have a nice iron, but it leaks. :(
I love the bunny pillow. Too cute!
Love the large bunny pillow. Will you be making the pattern available? The iron is really a neat idea. Would love to win one, not only for quilting but also just general ironing (and yes I do make myself do it, although I can’t say I enjoy it). Hmmmm, would this iron make clothes ironing more fun???
already over 500 entries to win the iron!!!!! Oh, well I should have a better chance to win this than my husband does playing the Missouri lottery every week……..lol
Love that big pillow….what a hoot!
Gotta run and see what all the Pillow Talk hype is about..
Thanks Anne……you are a peach
I would love to have this iron. The one I have been using is not doing its job any more. I am a collector of bunnies, also. Love anything to do with them. Thanks for including me in your giveaway.
I will be married 45 yrs. this month and have had numerous irons, but they have all broken within a short time. I have never seen these irons before, and am amazed that you don’t have to sit them up at all. I would love to receive one of these to replace my iron that has recently broken and the steam button stays depressed all the time, it would make a wonderful anniversary present. I love bunnies, so naturally I do love your bunny pillow to store the remote and other necessities.
Anne – I love your posts – your love of all things quilt and the love for your pets shine! I have the seen the Oliso is action, only it wasn’t on MY ironing surface! Would love to have it come to my sewing oasis. Thanks for your generosity and sharing great tools and your love for fabric, felines, canines and quilts!
I love your site and have been following you for the last 3 years. Your blog is just as awesome! I would love to win the Olison iron as I am so bad at remembering to turn my iron off and have left home and then had to turn around and go back home to make sure I turned my iron off. Hubby, of course isn’t too happy when this happens. What a great Valentine gift for him, don’t you think?
I would love to win this iron ….I have been married 40 1/2 years and have owned about that many irons..they just don’t work for me or last..I would love to begin my year winning an iron that sounds truly WONDERFUL..pleas pick me…
Do I ever need a second iron!!! My sewing room is upstairs and my laundry room is downstairs. I’m constantly running up and down the stairs. I have to admit it’s good exercise, but all that extra time spent on the stairs eats away at valuable sewing time. Help me please! Love the stackable sachet idea…really cute!
I’ve had my Rowenta for many years now and it is starting to leak. I sure could use this new one. I hope to win it.
I would love to win the iron because I need one as mine was bumped off the ironing board by one of the kids and of course it was left on. I need it to sew because sewing is my therapy to retain my sanity. :)
The pillow is such a cute idea…but my doggie would have everything it chewed up at once. And I love your pink bedroom..how fun.
That iron looks like it would make my quilt blocks look very crisp…I’m not such a good ironer and I need all the help I can get, so please pick me!
What book are you wild about? I just finished “Major Pettigrew’s Last Stand”….great book….so English! If it took place in the 18th century the story would be just as appropriate as taking place in the present time! You should send me the iron because I have never won anything by making a comment!! The iron just sounds wonderful. Thank you for the opportunity. Blessings,
Love your blog…just looking at your beautiful creations and photos inspires me. Your soon to be grandbaby is going to be one lucky little girl. Have always wanted to try out this neat looking iron!! Thanks for the possibility.
Good irons are hard to find. This one sounds great. I’d love to win one to try it for myself. Thanks for the opportunity.
I have used the Oliso iron before and once you have there is no turning back. I would love to win one. Thanks for the chance.
I would LOVE to win the iron. Why, you say? Well, I have THREE, not ONE BUT THREE irons sitting on my ironing board. One doesn’t work at all (looking at the trashcan here), one will not steam (bad for ironing hubby’s shirts, but good for ironing quilt seams), and one does work but doesn’t have all the bells and whistles I’d love to try. I deserve that iron!! HA!! Thanks for a wonderful, interesting blog and sweet, whimsical designs!!
I believe pressing is the most important part of quilt making after accurate cutting and if you don’t have a good iron, your patchwork is poorly constructed. We’ll my iron is on it’s last leg and I have an awesome quilt to make, so winning this iron would help me reach my goal.
I’d be soo delighted to win the iron…particularly since my iron ‘died’ this week!!! I enjoy your website and especially your patterns. Thanks for your many ideas!
Wow! What a wonderful give away. Thank you. Just watched the video and it looks like this is THE iron to have. With the blizzard that hit here this week, I started Snowbound. “Sew” appropriate for our weather!! The bunny slippers have to be you! Congrats on the new granddaughter. Enjoy your blog.
I would love to win the Oliso iron. I think I could press perfect seams with this iron. Thanks for the chance to win. I love the sachets. My grandmother would make them and put them in my underwear drawer when I was a kid growing up. Brings back wonderful memories!
What a great iron. Winning this iron would be fantastic as mine is getting old. Thanks also for the ideas. I am going to make some sachets tonight.
Wowwwww what a generous offer! I would loveeee to be the recipient of such a gorgous Iron” would you believe I have never owned a really decent iron. I always seem to buy the ones that are on sale because It comes down to Iron or fabric and I guess you can tell which one wins out”. Would absolutely loveeeeeeee to win this. Thanks for the chance Linda
I just love this iron. I have had a similar one for years and I would love the new one. Great Blog Thank you, Bernice
Congratulations on becoming a grandmother for the 2nd time, I also am becoming a grandma for the second time in May(a boy. I would live to win the Oliso iron.
Thank- you for the lavender sachet idea. The ones you made are darling. Congratulations on grandchild number 3. I see a trip to Germany in your future. I would love the iron. I saw it at the Georgia quilt show and it was awesome. I just didn’t have the money at the time.
I am dying to have one of this Oliso Iron! It’s the very best iron I’ve ever seen. It’s so amazing, beautiful and will completely match to my studio.
Congratulations on being a grandma! I would love to win the iron as I am new to quilting and need a better iron as mine doesn’t work well. Thanks so much for a wonderful giveaway!
What cute valentines projects, I’m sure that Oliso iron came in handy!
I have lusted over that iron for years, I’ve seen it used on both Fons & Porter and Sewing with Nancy TV shows. My most important sewing tool is my iron, having rheumatoid arthritis I’ve wondered how much easier that iron would be on my wrist. What a smart design! I hope I win, I hope I win, I hope I win!
Thanks so much for the bom patterns that you design for us. I just love them! Congratulations on becoming a Grandma! I just became Grandma for the fourth time and it is wonderful!
Thanks to you and Oliso for the iron giveaway! My iron upstairs just broke, so it would be great to win.
How wonderful of Oliso to donate this fabulous iron! I’ve always wanted and needed one. I have a VERY bad habit of setting my iron down on the ironing board while I adjust my quilt patchwork. This iron would be perfect for me. No more burn marks on my ironing board. (In fact I just replaced my cover yesterday) I love the happy sunshine yellow. Thanks Anne & Oliso
What a lovely cushion! Maybe I should make one in a Squirrel..because I am a real squirrelcollector, absolutely crazy about your new BOM! Want to win a special iron?
Waauw,YES!
Maybe I start liking to iron…;-)
I would like to win this beautiful iron so I can be like Henrietta and all of the silly friends at Bunnyhill Blog!
I would love the new Oliso iron, I have an old iron and a new one just isn’t in the budget right now.
Thank you,
Colleen
Loved your interview with Henrietta and your cute bunny pillow. Thanks for the opportunity to win an Oliso iron. It would be awesome to own one. I fell in love with it at the QF in Houston last year. It would make ironing a pleasure!
I’ve been looking for a project for my charm squares. A sachet just might do it. Please consider me for your Oliso iron give away. As a quilter and mother of 5, I could use an awesome iron like this. I checked Oliso’s sight and there are store’s that carry it around here.
The Oliso iron is great and I would love to win one. Thanks for the opportunity. I would be a better quilter when pressing with an Oliso.
I love the big bunny pillow – too funny….I would love to win the iron….I used one that someone brought to a quilting retreat and it was awesome! Thanks for the chance to win
I love your bunny pillow!
A giveaway for a new iron is wonderful! I would love a new iron to say the least!! I Every iron I have ever owned leaves goop or spews water all over my nice quilting projects. I would love it.
Thank you for the great offer. I’d love to win a new iron. I actually like to iron and my sister teases me that my job in heaven will be ironing!
Thanks again,Gloria
I love to sew, but seldom have the time anymore. I am in the process of cleaning and organizing my craft room. If it’s all in order it will be more tempting to run in and make things! The iron is so beautiful. If function follows good looks, I know it will be the best iron ever. I’m also WAY behind on household ironing, and maybe this little iron will be the impetus I need to catch up!
Patchwork is my passion and this iron would be a great tool to help me improve. Thanks so much for the fantastic designs and the chance to win a fabulous iron. Keep those great designs coming.
Your blog is just great!! So personal but informative! I have seen that iron used on Fons and Porter….anyone would love to have it, especially us quilters, me being an avid, passionate one! Bless You and yes, keep up the great work!
Anne,
I love the pillow! I know the iron must be fabulous – what a great prize! I have been so challenged in the iron area — so many iron leak! UGH! I had to go get a LauraStar! Love that steam….
The iron would be a luxury item for me. I currently use iron’s purchased at garage sales and thrift stores!!! Great pillow ideas–I enjoy reading your blog. Keep up the good work.
My beloved Rowenta of 10 years is dribbling and refusing to heat adequately. I would love a new iron! Thanks!
Why do I want to win…b/c it is very hard trying to convince my husband that I need an iron that costs over 100.00. You see, he has been ironing his military uniforms on a 9.99 iron from Walmart for 19 years, and “I haven’t failed a uniform inspection yet!” You see my problem?!? You blog is always a joy to read, and I especially love all the pics of your pets. Thank you.
Yum yum yum! If I won that iron I would feel like a won the lottery! I watch it being used on Fons and Porter and SWOON! I’m crossing my fingers now to win :) Thanks for this fun opportunity! LOVE your designs!!!! Have 3 projects waiting in the wings! Kim in Madison WI
Wouldn’t you know? Everyone wants to win the iron. Well, I do too. I am of the older generation and still iron everything…..besides quilting and sewing projects:) Hope you pick my name!!! I too love the little pillows and plan to make a few for Valentines day. Your pets are adorable. I have several myself and find them to be my primary entertainment in life.
I have enjoyed your block of the months. They are so cute. It is so cold here in Texas. I am not use to this weather… so I have sewing up a storm. I would love to win the Oliso Iron. I looked at it at Houston Quilt Show but there is no way I can afford it. I am now using my travel iron to iron everything. Oh well, maybe I will win…That would be great…Jill
Ann this iron would be fantastic for applique and making our darling quilts. I am in Florida for a few months and have to use this Goodwill iron that is let here. I could really use this iron and would that very good care of it. God Bless you for all that you do. thanks Vickie Wright
that is one of the coolest gadgets I have seen. I’ve gotten to play with it at some of the quilt shows and it’s just so cool! Who says we don’t have cool techy toys?
Hi,
thank you for all your eye candy, tricks and ideas^^
I’d love to win this iron because it’s a great help in quilting and because I never won anything.
thanks again
A good iron is one of the most important tools in sewing. I’m always on the lookout for good ones, so I’d love to win this one from Oliso. It’s also so important to have good companions while working and yours look very loved and happy. I enjoy seeing pictures of them.
I had an Olisio iron and it “died” so I’ love to win a replacement. The lavendar sachets are a sweet idea.
I think your BOM is adorable! Your website and blog are beautiful, and I truly admire your photography! Would love to win the Oliso iron. It’s been hard to keep warm around here this winter!
I love this Iron – I have coveted it so long! My current one doesn’t even get hot anymore – Deborah
There is NOTHING more important than a good iron. I am addicted to “good” irons…wouldn’t settle for less. Am in desparate need of a new one right now. Love ALL your patterns and everything you do. Thank you for the new free quilt patterns every year!!!
Always something to make me smile here!! So do you fill the pillow and leave behind for hubby when you travel or fill it & take all along??? It’s very cute! Love the sachets – I love lavender, something so vintage and soothing!
Thanks, Anne!
I love your bunny pillow! I would also love to win a new iron, as my current iron leaks streams of water. Thanks for the great giveaway!
Your work is beautiful and I do appreciate the free BOM. My iron died and we’ve been iced in here in Tx – no way to go to the store – no quilting – major cabin fever – would luv this iron! Thanks for sharing your gifts with us too. Vicky
Oh! Pick me! Pick me! I’d love to try out that Oliso iron. I need a new iron, my Rowenta never really worked well, my Electrolux is leaking and now I’m on a $5 Christmas special.
Love, love the lavender pillows…gotta get making some.
I love the bunny pillow! That would come in so handy here, as my darling husband is constantly losing the remote!
I would love to win the Oliso iron! The last iron I had was a Rowenta, and it caught on fire while I was ironing fabric! Remember to ALWAYS unplug your iron after every use, and be sure that the iron has cooled. It was still burning after we put it outside!
OH how I love your site!!! and I love the Bunny slippers…as for the iron I would love to be the winner..I just dropped and broke my iron and need to get a new one..Thanks Lisa..
The iron looks like it would be a great tool to use on all of my quilting projects! I’d love to have it to use on my charity quilts and pillows, as well as my own projects. Love your patterns and ideas!
Anne, I have been buying Rowenta’s for so long and this week I accidently but the sticky side up on the applique that I was doing!!! Can you believe it??? Along comes your post announcing an iron! I would love to win this Oliso Iron. What a life saver that would be! It sure looks cozy in your bed with Bitsy, Chelsea, Max, Mooch, and Topsy! My best to you all!
Carol
Love the pillow talk idea. It is really wonderful to have bit of insight into “famous people’s” lives.
The iron looks like the perfect iron !! If I win it (which I would love to do) will it do the ironing for me? That would be a smart iron – but I would most definently settle for this one !!
Thanks for all the wonderful ideas and patterns that you put out. Love your website and the products that you carry.
Brenda
Anne what a wonderful post,it made me smile and your pillow is fantastic. Thankyou for the lavendar sachet idea, so simple but what a great idea and yes dont we all need a good iron i am thinking of starting a sunday ironing club (only joking) as all of my friends that work me included devote our Sunday mornings to the ironing, now how sad is that?.
CONGRATULATIONS! Oh to be a granny! I can’t wait until the day I am called one! What a wonderful gift that child will get multi-languages how fun! Your creativity amazes me that bunny pillow is ADORABLE! I have had the opportunity to utilize the OLISO iron during a 6 week class with Mary Ann Fons and it was truly a wonderful iron love the safety feature of the lift as I see it as a godsend when going back n forth between the sewing machine and the iron! This giveaway is reason enough to come out of the shadows and speak up! By the way PINK rocks, from a huge fan of yours! Keep up the creativity! From an admirer in IOWA buried deep in snow but happy quilting, admiring the beauty from my warm my house!
Loved the bunny pillow – the perfect thing for your husband when you are away.
The iron – well as a quilt teacher – I cannot stress the importance of WELL PRESSED seams. I am a stickler for it and nothing pleases me more than having my students show me their work (with well pressed seams). So what would I do with the iron – a teaching tool of course!!!! Making sure that the word continues to be passed on – USE A GOOD IRON and PRESS WELL – always!. Thanks again for such wonderful patterns, inspiration and other fun stuff.
Elaine
I love to iron and would be thrilled to be using such an awesome machine as this. It would be such great timing, as my iron just recently started spitting at me. I found your website at the begining of the Snowbound series and fell in love with both applique and your site. Thank you!
lovely bunnies the pillow is THE BEST and who can beat your slippers? `Ziggy’ is my idol, I think he has the same slippers.
My hands are shakingat the thought of a `real’ iron-in my house-I have been banished from the `good’ iron. I have used the good iron for 1 too many wonder under stuck on -starch laden burnt/scorched-appliaue-fusable web that get stuck on the iron-well you get my problem–he has gotten the iron `a few times’ when I maye had left it on my sewing table with some `issues’ and he `touches up’ his work clothes… and well he acts like the worlsw is going to end… and banishes me form that goood iron..so he gets me this wee little travel iron that barely heats up will not melt wonder under…
No sofa sleeping.
Lots boooks
Love to sew in bed-no the sofa. no sewing machine in bed..love yours-where do you find this. You are amazing.Honestly Top Shelp!
I would love to win the love the charm packs -(never had 1 (: )
I grow lavender in the seasonand some herbs. What a great Idea.
I feel like What a grEat Valentines Gift!! WhoohOOO sUCH fUN
sUCH a FUN GIVEAWAY….IF I have a smidge of a chance. for a sec.
?????maybe???oh well Best wishes on your new grandbaby-send love to your son & his wife{{{HUGS}}
Oh my Word! That is the coolest iron I have ever seen. I’ve never heard of it before, but I waited years for a Rowenta and it fell off my board and doesn’t work now. Loved the sachet idea. So cute. Thank you for all your wonderful creative ideas.
Much appreciated.
I love your patterns and I also love seeing your sweet little friends. The iron is wonderful! I would put it to good use in my little sewing room that I share with my little friends.
Hola!
GOOGLE TRADUCTOR:
“Hello!
How beautiful is Oliso Smart Iron!
It’s amazing! I burned my arm with an iron as a kid and still remember how hurt! I’d love to have one for me that will never happen again and also I think I could “enjoy” the ironing! Hahaha!
Thanks for the drawing, someone will be very happy!
I also wanted to thank you for the new block with Sophie! It is beautiful!
A hug!”
I love your patterns, and the colors you choose also! The reason I’d like to win this iron is because my old one is in its death-throes. It no longer steams and I have to turn the heat ALL the way up to get ANY heat! I’ve never had the priviledge of seeing an Oliso iron in person but have heard of them and only good things. Thanks for the chance to win such an awesome iron!
How great, an iron giveaway. My cat just knocked my iron off the ironing board and “killed” it. Would love to win the iron. Love all your free projects.
I really loved this post — especially the pajama talk. Will you reveal which one is you when you announce the winner? I would love to have that awesome iron because I could surpass my husband and boys in high-tech glamour, which at the same time is sooooo practical. That thing is too cool!
Oh Anne,
Oliso Iron!! How generous and exciting for a chance to win one!! Thanks Oliso!
Great Pillow Talk interview, I think you are in the bottom right with those darling slippers, I would have chosen bottom left too, if not for the slippers!! :)
Love the lavender pillows, and even more the glass jars, where did you get those, perfectly cute!!
I’ve come to the conclusion you are kindred spirits to Beatrix Potter and Anne of Green Gables!!! Your humor brings healing chuckles to my soul!
I have enjoyed so much the wonderful inspiration and projects you’ve provided on your site. It is one of my very favorites! I’ve watched several quilting shows on public TV; these wonderful quilters are raving about the Oliso and I can see why!! I muddle through with my standard little iron but I would be in heaven to have one of these wonderful beauties!! God Bless and continue your great work of inspiring us with your delicious ideas and designs!
I have so much trouble with my irons. Many have gone to the dump in a short time. Would love to own this iron. Thanks for sharing your amazing talents with us. Laura
I love what this iron can do. My rowenta recently died and I was holding off on replacing it because they are so expensive. But now I want the oils. This iron is amazing. I have everything I need to get started with snowbound and a ticket a gasket but can’t until I have an iron. I love your website and buy a lot of my fabric from shabby fabrics. I think your home must be absolutely beautiful. Thanks for giving us so much sewing inspiration.
Would love to win the iron. Being able to press my seams properly would make a world of difference in my finished projects. Thanks for the pillow sachets.
Ohh what a great iron!!! I must have this one, because I’m always in panic to burned my patches or clothes!
Your site is always interesting an lovely!
Greats Marion
Drooling over this iron for Months!
A yellow iron. Seriously cute. Certainly obsessed.
That is a neat looking iron and if you say they work well, then that is good enough for me. I would love to win it as my 23 yr old iron recently died and I replaced with what I thought would be a good one, but guess what …. it spits! Nothing worse than your iron spitting when you are trying to press quilt blocks!
Love your site, it is interesting, informative and fun.
Would love to start of each day looking at my very own Oliso iron, while I read your blog of course!
Thanks ever so much
I’d love to win an Oliso iron because: I have 3 irons, none of which work properly; my current iron with it’s auto shut-off wont turn back on so I have to unplug it and plug it back in; and because who doesn’t love a giveaway? Thanks for the chance!
Hi.
A great post on a sunny day :-)
I love it. If I’m the luckey one to win the iron. It woul make me smile everytime I use it and remember me of sunshine even if it snow or rain.
So I cross my fongers.
Hugs :-)
A bright happy yellow iron would instantly cheer me up every time I ironed!
Anne..the pillow sachets are brilliant! Sometimes I wonder if the obvious escapes me and why I don’t come up with some of these great ideas. Why do I need a new iron? To prove to myself that there really is an iron out there that I could say. “I love”!! After 35 years of quilting I have gone through a few irons and am waiting for that special iron that is a joy to use and I could brag about to others. Bless you Anne, thanks for sharing so much with us.
Love the charm pack sachets. What a clever, easy idea.
Isubmitted earlier but said I love the Bunny pillow & slippers love love love them…
I reliaze I did not answer all the questions was that part of the deal? oops..
I need the iron so I can sew & applique, My iron is a little travel iron, I like it but it does not get very hot, it will not get hot enough for wonder under- I hold that & hold & hold & nothing.
Sleeping on the couch. My husband falls asleep on it sometimes & I just sit next to him & do computer or crocheting until I am ready or til he get up.
Wow – I would LOVE that beautiful iron because my current iron leaks water everywhere! Wonderful post, you’re so clever.
Thank you so much for sharing your fun blog site with us. You are definitely having fun while you are creating, the bunny pillow showed that. I loved the sachets too!
As for the iron, my whole house is yellow, red and green, plus I saw this iron at a fair once and wished someone would have bought it for me ….the hints obviously weren’t taken ! :)
Oh well, thanks again!
I have just recently found your site and blog. I am new to this but am loving it. You have such cute things to make. I would love to win the iron for my sister. She is a great quilter but is very quiet about it. She needs a new iron and is always doing nice things for others and deserves a new one.

I love your bunny pillow! But then again, I love everything that you do. I would like to win the iron because it looks small and compact and cute and mainly because I NEED ONE! My iron is sew very old. I actually burned one up last summer and got this one from my mom. Anyway, I digress. {{{{HUGS}}}}
Love the smell of lavender!!!
What a cute idea for a travel pillow!
I would like to win the iron because I love the fact that it has an automatic shut off. So it would save me from burning my house down the few times that I may forget to turn mine off.
AND what cute colors.
Your bunny pillow is very cute and such a clever idea. I am needing a new iron and I’ve heard alot about this one. Would love to win one. I’ve been following you for a few years. I love your blocks each month–thank you so much. Koye (QuiltKorner)
This iron would come in VERY handy since I will be making a new crib set for my new grand-daughter that is due also the end of May! Love love love the sachet idea! Can’t wait to make some for my friends and maybe even myself.
I dream about this iron! My sister and I are making pillowcases for the Million Pillowcase Challenge. We have made 120 so far and plan to continue as long as we can… that’s a lot of picking-up-and-putting-down of the iron! We sew every day, and the Oliso would be such a great help to our quilting and charity work.
Cute bunny pillow – what a clever idea. Would love a new iron – have really needed one for a while, but it keeps getting put on the bottom of the list as other things take priority.
What a cute pillow. I could really use a new iron. Mine is ready for the trash.
I would LOVE to win the Oliso iron for safety reasons! I always have an iron set up between starch method applique, sewing for my 6yr old grandaughter, Alana, and occasional “real” ironing, I am forever watching the iron so that the cat, dog, or Alana don’t hit the ironing board and knock off the iron, or get burnt themselves… But, Alana wants the bunny pattern so I can make one for her, and some for her BFFs in 1st grade. Is it going to be a pattern, Anne?
Forgot this on my earlier comment…..
Congratulations on the news of your new grandbaby!…and it’s a girl. How wonderful! You can say, “Ich bin so glucklick”!
I have two granddaughters (3 & 5) and love them to bits.
Love the bunny pillow! The sachets are a quick and easy project. Thanks for sharing with us.
I love the Oliso iron! I used a friend’s on retreat one time and fell in love! I am really bad about putting the iron upright again while I adjust something so I would never scorch again!! Thanks!
I really need to win this iron because I have seen Fons and Porter use one and never knew what kind it was. And my iron does not heat like it should anymore.
I use that iron when I teach classes…. and I LOVE IT! It’s an amazing, wonderful product! Thanks for sharing a little about you and your new grandbaby on the way, and your darling pillows…. I loved reading your blog today!
I’ve coveted the Oliso yellow iron for ages & would love to win one. All of your furries are adorable & I can see why they have their own couch. My dog, Jack, has his own couch too!
Wow!I really would like to have that iron! Congrats on your news of a new Granddaughter. My sweetie just turned five. How time flies. She loves to help Nana with the 5″ squares. She is a good “arranger” as she puts it. Love your blog.
Lillian Carol
I would love to win this iron because I have never had a really GREAT iron before – this looks like it fits the bill!
I just loved the iron, watched the video and that is just the neatest. Would love to win it to use in my sewing room. Right now I am using the old style black and decker because it gets hotter then lots of others.
Thought your bunny pillow was very cute and such a clever idea.
Linda
The bunny pillow is a great idea and I will be popping up to my sewing room to make some of those lavender pillows. Trouble is my sewing room iron fell on the floor and doesn’t hold water any more. I have been putting up with it for months. I would love the new Oliso iron.
I would love to win the new iron! I just bought your Night Before Christmas Pattern and am looking forward to starting it. All your patterns are so beautiful. Thanks for the free BOM patterns too!
I would love to have a new iron. The my home quilt shop uses that kind of iron in their classes and it does such a wonderful job.
I am just getting back into stitchery other than cross stitch (it has been years!) and my old iron just isn’t going to get the job done properly. What a great start winning this fantastic tool would be!
Love the pillow; have done when I had a colored printer. I made one for my mother–her kids and grand kids. It was so much fun. Grands are great. Love to win the iron.
Thanks for the ideas
The best part of your recent blog was the new grandbaby! I’m an obsessed quilter but an even more obsessed grandma! When I’m not thinking straight I realize life could go on without fabric (if absolutely necessary) but NOT without grandkids. :) Congratulations! I’d love the Oliso iron if I’m so lucky as to have my name drawn.
Great idea for charms squares. I often have a few leftover from a project. Way cool iron and I so need a new iron. Love the fact that it can’t tip over.
Oh oh oh do I need this Oliso iron! It says right on the box that it is SMART, the iron I have now is not very bright, tends to do dumb things every now and then like not get hot enough quick enough to suit me. Then, there’s the word PRO – I have confidence in an iron that can call itself a PRO! LOVE your post, as always brings a smile to my face when reading about your animal family, fabrics and projects!
Pressing can make all the difference in quilting. I’d love a great iron!
I would love to win the iron because: I need it, I want it, and I like it! I could be dangerous with all that steam possibility! Easy, peesy…love your ideas, your fabric, your style.
I love the iron. I have the first model and it has been a great iron to use. The bunny Pillow and sachets are really cute.
I love your Blog because besides your designs.. which are amoung my favorites you feature your animals. They are so cute& seem very sweet. The Bunny pillow of course and who wouldn’t want a new Iron. The Oliso would be wonderful!
Please sign me up for your drawing; the iron looks awesome. Thanks so much!
What a cute & functional bunny pillow! That iron seems almost too good to be true. Thanks for the chance to win.
Well, for years I have been looking for the “perfect” iron. Just recently I cracked the one I am using now. This Oliso one looks fantastic!
Congratulations on your new granddaughter. I have 4 and love them all to pieces.
This iron looks great! I’d love to win it. Thanks for the chance.
That looks like an awesome iron! Heaven knows I do my share of ironing so I would love to win one- thanks for the chance!
Congratulations on becoming a grandma!! It’s just the best! Sewing for a granddaughter will be such fun. I just got my first one after five grandsons. I’ve love to own the iron. I have read about it and it sounds fantastic! Thanks for a great blog and giveaway.
Me, too, me, too. What a great giveaway and I would love to win.
Love lavender! and an iron too! Your bunny pillow is great!
Thanks for such a lovely post – it made me smile. I would love to win such a great iron as my daughter who is away at college took mine! lol Seriously it looks great and thanks for such a great giveaway.
Your pillow is adorable! Love the pockets. That was very clever of you. The Oliso iron must be a dream come true. I’d be forever grateful not to have an iron that drips. It would be nice not to have my clothes and fabric all wet. Your sachets are a great idea too. Thanks for this wonderful giveaway. One more thing, does it come in pink?
I would love to win the Oliso iron!! I am needing a new one soon and this would be my perfect pick. Thanks for sharing such a cute post and giveaway.
I would love to win this nice iron. My sewing iron is very old and does not work well. When raising 4 daughters extra money for my quilting comes after college, cars, weddings, grandchildren, prom dress, etc you know. Thanks and love your all you stuff
Thanks so much for the chance to win, Anne! That iron looks like a vast improvement on my cheapy one! All those auto shut-offs and not having to stand it up – wonderful! And your bunny pillow is so much fun! Thanks again for your generosity with your website and all – I am a big fan.
Thank you for so many great patterns, I love the bunny pillow and sachets. I’m working on Arnie and Henrietta, I finished the top to Snowbound. I would love to win the iron.
I happen to be in the market for a new iron….hope I am lucky.
congrats on the gradbaby! thanks for the chance to win
A long time ago I learned that pressing is the key to accurate piecing, so this iron would be well used!! I love the color!!! Pick me!! Lisa
I love following your blog and have really enjoyed the pillow talk thus far. It would be so nice not to have to share an iron to get my projects done. I always get interrupted to iron out a wrinkle or two. Thanks for a chance to win
i would so love to win the iron…thanks for the chance to win!
Wow, what an amazing iron! I love, love, love, their idea of auto-lifting. I know it’s ridiculous, but I get so tired of having to constantly set my iron up on its end while I reposition my fabric on my rickety ironing board. I’m constantly knocking the iron over as it sits precariously at the end of the board. (Okay, I could just get a sturdier board or be less of a klutz…but it would be way cooler to just have an iron that lifts itself off the board for me…) Thanks for the chance to win one!
I know some little girls who would love that bunny pillow. The Oliso iron looks easy to use, wouldn’t mind trying it out. Does it come in pink?
I would love to have an Oliso, as I have carpel tunnel syndrome in my right hand and this would eliminate all that heavy lifting I do now with my current iron. Thanks for the chance to win one.
Congratulations on the new grandaughter and on your upcoming trip to Germany……Just assuming!! I have never heard of an Oliso iron so I will definitely be checking out their site. My Orek iron just died. it was great but weighed a ton and I have a wonkey shoulder. I bought a cheapy light weight iron but it just is not meeting my standards. There are ALWAYS clothes to iron which clog up the board for my quilt fabric! I LUV the bunny Pillow. I thank you for the sachet idea. I think my quilt gals would love that for a Valentine token.
I have been waiting for your turn to come up,I knew it would be great! Love taht bunny pillow for the remote and the lavender sachets, what a great idea!!! And a new Grand baby too! I know the iron is a great one as all of the Quilt shops use them! Great giveaways, and just fresh wonderful ideas as always.
I would love a new iron.
What a great post! I just love your Bunny Pillow. Neat idea too with the sachets in a jar. The Oliso smart iron sounds like a dream. I can’t tell you how many irons I have accidentally knocked off the ironing board. I wouldn’t mind sharing my couch with such cute little critters. Congrats on becoming a Grandmother again & thanks for the chance to win.
I would love a new iron, mine is just a piece of junk.
I would love to win an Oliso iron
It would make my life a dream.
No more fighting with an old clunker
Just beautiful, pure steam!
No more burnt fingers or scorched fabric
That always bring me tears.
Just gorgeous quilts with perfect points
To cherish through the years!
So Chelsea, Bitsy, Max and Mooch
As well as Topsy, too,
Please ask your mommy to pick me,
For my quilting breakthrough!
I would love to win the Oliso iron so I can make all my wonderful Bunny Hill quilts. Like Henrietta Whiskers! Besides, I’m tired of my Rowenta irons konking out on me. Thanks for the lovely sachet idea and all your delightful inspiration!
Anne,
Love the bunny pillow, your bunny slippers and the sachets, but your dogs won my heart! I’d love to win the Oliso iron. I’m on my 3rd Rowenta in as many years, they keep leaking on me and I’m not sure about another expensive iron.
Such a cute pillow! I would love an Oliso iron because I’ve been using the same iron since college and it’s just not cutting it anymore over 10 years later. I had a chance to iron with one at a quilt camp last year and it’s amazing!
Hi Anne — I’ve been anxiously waiting for “Bunny Hill Day” on the blog hop and here it is! Excited to see your pillow — and wow, what a give-away treat. Why would I love to win the Oliso iron? As a treat for my husband, who faithfully does all the ironing in our home because he likes to create more free time for me to sit at my sewing machine!! And of course it will come in handy for quilting, too! Thanks for the chance to win such a great prize!
what a great prize and such a fun pillow – would love to win!!!
What a fun pillow. I love the lavender charm pillows. The iron looks dreamy.
I love the idea of the lavendar sachets in the jar and making them with charm squares. I will do this with my lavendar from my garden.
I would love to win the iron. Mine hit the floor last weekend when our new puppy thought the cord was a pull toy. Jet, a 10 week old Gordon Setter, pulled my unplugged iron off the board. Metal parts split apart and plastic bits went flying. I have not been able to get to a store to replace it. At least the pup wasn’t hurt.
Would love to win this newfangled Oliso iron and so would my ironing board cover ~ no more burn marks. Thanks for the chance!
I would love to win the Oliso iron. I really need a new iron! Thanks for all the inspiration you give your blog readers. I just love all your projects and fabric lines!
I ‘tried’ out this iron at the Madison Quilt Expo last fall and thought it was great. I have been saving to purchase it this fall at the expo. I iron daily as I wear 100% cotton-and believe it or not I like to iron. Thank you for the opportunity to win!
Bobbie
How nice, valentine sachets. Lavender is one of my favorites. If the Osilo works well with more than just quilting, count me in.
wow!!! I would love to win this wonderful iron! There is nothing like that here, I would be very useful to make my quilts!
kisses …
Jessy.
Such a wonderful and inspirational post!!! I would love to win the new iron–mine (not an Osilo) is currently being held together by duct tape!
Love the pictures of your cats, and dogs as always. I’ve always wanted to try the Osilo iron.
Love the pillow. Thanks for the opportunity to win an iron. I need a new iron, the steam on my doesn’t work anymore. I have been doing some research on irons and the Osilo sounds like it would be a great iron to have if you’re a quilter.
Oh my goodness! Do I need to win this iron! I have another major brand and it drives me crazy!! Thank you so much for this offer!
I would love to win the Oliso iron. I love to sew & stitch & that would come in so handy & helpful. It looks like a wonderful iron.
The pillow is so cute.
Love your blog.
Karin :)

Your blog posts are all so fun and interesting–with excellent ideas–the sachet is a perfect Valentine idea. Your pics are great too! Congrats on your new grandbaby on the way!
Love the Oliso iron–everyone could use such a handy iron…but it also looks so cute, when you look at the front it appears to be smiling! If we can all face our ironing with a smile and it smiles back—that is a smart iron. ;-) –Aileen
Just this morning my iron was spitting all over the place. I’d love to have a dream iron!
ohhhh, such a wonderful looking iron – and if you give it a good recommendation – then i’m in! I really need a new iron. I’m using one that I got at an estate sale – it does have a nice long cord – and it does turn off automatically – but it has 3 steam holes – that’s it. And when I iron or ‘press’ I like to STEAM it! Thanks!
How exciting – a new granddaughter! I’m expecting one too, due on June 1st and you’ll be pleased to hear my daughter has picked the pink and chocolate Lily and Will for a quilt (made by gramma of course!). Thanks for the opportunity, Terri in BC
I would love to win the iron, because, really quilting is ironing with a little bit of sewing in between. “Bernie” my Bernina sewing maching needs a new buddy.
Your bunny pillow is so incredibly sweet!! and winning that Oliso iron would be sweet as well!
Love your post…too cute! I really NEED that iron. I bought myself one about a year ago, but decided to keep the old one, just in case. Good thing the newer one died and I’m back to using the 20yr old one!!!
Holy cow, I’m #400 something for comments. Very cute blog, pillows, sachets, and furry best friends. Congrats on becoming a grandma again, in May. Children and grandkids make our world go round! with little bee-huggs, Debby (GO PACKERS!)
Ilove the pictures of your “babies”.
Congratulations on being a new grandma soon!
I would love to win the Oliso Iron as I sew everyday.
I have some Lily and Will yardage that would go great with a pack of charms and the iron would be great to use when putting together a baby quilt. Do you think you would have room in the package to add the pink Sewing machine??? :^))
Love, love the Bunny! And the pets. I’m a sucker for cute furry animals. I would be delighted to win the iron, because I desperately need a new one, and being on a tight budget (mother of a two-year-old who went back to school after being laid-off) I’d never feel right spending that much on myself!
Thanks for letting us get to know you better and I love lavender sachets. I have dried lavender so maybe this week-end I’ll make some. I know this is goofy but I like to iron! To have this iron would be wonderful and I like the idea of one-pass ironing for cotton clothing and quilt blocks. I appreciate the opportunity to win this and I love all of your babies!!
Thank-you for such a generous give-away! Looks like a magnificent piece of equipment to own! Currently am using a garage sale find that is getting up in years but still works. I am new to your blog and do mostly rug hooking. Your bunny pillow is the cat’s pajamas! What a fun and great design! Would make an awesome gift!
Thanks again!
Cathy G
Why? Well it’s only the coolest iron ever!!!
hey i’ve heard these irons are pretty swanky! neat! :D
great bunny pillow, and thanks for the sachet ideas!
Your blog is great! I loved the idea for the little lavender sachets. I have lots of charm squares and a few buttons, so I will make some…just need to find the lavender. I do have a plant but it isn’t doing too good. The bunny pillow is so cute, what a neat idea. I would love to win that great iron!
Phyllis
I am recently new to your blog. I love the freshness of it. I would like to win the iron because I just can’t seem to find an iron that gets hot enough or lasts very long.
The bunny bag is to die for! I love how its bigger than all your animals tho.
Thank you for offering up the awesome iron. In a fit of clumsiness, I dropped my iron on our wood floor and chipped it in a number of important places. I still use it, but boy would I love a new one!
I love your bunny pillow/bag, such a clever idea and goes so well with your “image”. I had never heard of the Oliso iron (not sure if it is available here) but it sounds like the ideal iron! Would love to give it a try of course.
Congratulations on your the future new addition to your family
An iron and fabric? What more could a girl want? :)
Your pets are adorable. I, too, have 2 dogs and 3 cats!
~
How fun! The iron sounds amazing!
I’ve heard great things about the Oliso iron. Would be interested to see how it works in person, so would love to win!
You’re so cute Anne! Love your stuff!
I would love to win this iron because mine stinks, and this one is just so smart!
Everyone should know that your pillow would be a bunny (extra large of course). I need the new iron – mine went kaput just yesterday. Oh such a wonderful thing to have a ‘good’ iron and not just any old iron.
Hugs – Marie
I am just starting quilting (actually working on my first quilt and I am making it with lily and will layer cakes) and I would love an iron like this. Mine is old and really needs to be retired!
Anne, your bunny pillow is just darling! Of course, I’d expect nothing less from you….but it’s just so cute AND functional! What an amazing giveaway too, I watched the video, but I’ve also actually tested out this iron….my LQS uses it! I would LOVE to win this…so good luck to everyone including ‘me’ in the drawing!
What an amazing piece of sewing room equipment. I think it might be better than my Dyson! Shhh. Anyway, I could certainly use one of those seeing as my other cheap black and decker iron currently has goop on it from and accident with the applique I was attempting that last time I used it…oops. Thanks for the giveaway!
Oh, I would love to win the iron! In addition to quilting I iron all my husband’s shirts and pants for work. It might actually make ironing fun! I have a cheap iron that spits and drips all over. (Being a lefty I have a difficult time finding an iron that doesn’t get all tangled and this one looks like it would work great!)
I love your bunny pillow! Congratulations on your new grand daughter :).
Thanks for sharing a little about yourself and for the great giveaway!!
Thanks so much for such a generous gift! I would be so excited to win, my current “R” iron spits & sputters almost every time I use it! It needs to be retired & replaced with this beautiful gem! Love your blog, your slippers, fabrics, sachets & let’s not forget, your pink Featherweight! How cute that pic is ~ you don’t happen to have another one, do you? LOL!
This is my first visit to your site. How much fun!
I love the iron, it reminds me of something from the
children’s movie, THE BRAVE LITTLE TOASTER!
Thanks,
S. Williams
I always worry about my iron falling off my ironing board. Nothing like watching your fav iron tumble to the floor :-/ I also like the auto shut off feature. Love your bunny pillow!
I would love to win this iron – I am on the elusive hunt for an iron that doens’t spit, leak, has decent heat and doesn’t stop working every few months. Please show me that this iron isn’t like “all the others”!!
Congrats on a new grandbaby! How exciting! Wunderbar! that’s my limited German. LOL! What a fun giveaway, too. Love your giant bunny pillow. It’s adorable. And your dog is VERY smart indeed.
We need a good iron for quilting. Each time we use it, we fear that 1) it will leak 2) it won’t spray 3) get distracted and will scorch fabric because have a kindergarten moment…
We want the Oliso because it lifts, it won’t leak and get stains on our fabric, we can use startch / sizing without scorching. And, we can press, it lifts, we sew another seam, we press… now we have to plug and unplug our iron because that is the way it turns on/off. My mother and I need this iron! Thanks for the giveaway. I enjoy seeing your design reveals on the blog.
This pillow talk has been so much fun! A new iron would be really nice to have. I loved all the pictures you posted and it has my mind going into sewing overdrive right now.
I NEED a new iron and I think the Oliso has everything I could dream of having. My quilting could just go to the next FUN level. I am already dreaming of ironing some Lily and Will layer cakes! Thanks for all your inspirations!
I have some empty jars…..now I know what I can fill them with! I need an Oliso ‘cuz I keep burning holes in my ironing board cover. I set the hot iron, soleplate down, right on the cover while I’m fidgetting with all those quilt blocks that I’m pressing. Winning this iron would mean I won’t have to change a bad habit……the iron will take care of that for me! tehe
Adorable bunny pillow and adorable sofa sleepers! Thanks for the chance to win a fabulous Oliso. Karen in Breezy Point
Why would I like to win? Simple. Because it’s so hard to find a good iron these days.
I’m adding your blog to my favorites right now. Thanks for tickling my funny bone today and for the introduction of the cool iron. I always worry my dog will bump by ironing board and send my hot iron to the floor and melt my carpet so the Oliso will be perfect for me. I have my ironing board in front of the picture window so I can enjoy the outdoor scenery (which is why my dog is likely to knock it over). Thanks so much!
Congrats on being a grandma again! =) I’d like to win the iron because my iron is AWFUL. I need a nice iron that won’t ruin my quilting projects. =)
I love your bunny pillow, it is so cute! and practical too. I also love your little sachets, what a great idea! I just watched the video and would really love to win the iron. I am a quilter and I would put it to good use. Thank you for the chance to win such a great prize!
My iron just died and I’m in the market for a new one. Would be wonderful to win one and then I’d have more money for Stash Building!! Congrats on the new Gbaby! Hope you get lots of visits in Germany and the good old USA! Thanks for the inspiration. MaryB
Love the Bunny Pillow and your wonderful Lavender pillows!! I would LOVE to win the iron…I NEED a new iron BADLY as I can’t put water into mine…leaks brown gunk all over my pretty fabric!! YIKES!! No steam for me!! Thanks for the chance to win this lovely iron!!
Take care!
Paulette
I need a new iron because I HATE TO IRON! The only time I iron is when I’m quilting!
Love the bunny, those colors would make a wonderful sheep with just a few adjustments:). I’ve seen that iron at shows and it looks like a fabulous splurge. My mother grows several types of lavender and makes wonderful little sachets similar to yours, small tokens of affections for us all. Thanks for sharing.
I watched the video just so I could enter the draw.
and WOW I’m impressed. I’d love to win that iron,
especially because it is so smart!!
Thank you.
I would love to win the iron. You have no idea
how many things I have that are wrinkled. Sad to
how many the iron wouldn’t help but a lot it would.
Doris
I love the little cachets in the jar! I love, love, love jars and never thought about putting little pillows (made from scraps of my favorite fabrics) in them.
Please enter me for the iron drawing. I have been using the same iron for the past 10 years and it’s on its last leg. It was one my DH picked out and really doesn’t do all that well anymore (not to mention the cord keeps overheating). I am getting back into sewing/quilting and find myself dragging my feet to do anything because I have to get that old scary iron out.
Loved your post and I would love to win the iron! I haven’t seen one of these before but it looks awesome.
oh wow are you serious!? this is an AWESOME prize to be won!!! I have to confess that I’ve always been so intrigued with these after seeing them on Fons & Porter’s quilt show… and have to share with you – that like other people who talk to themselves… I have a little more creative way of talking to myself when I’m sewing…. I pretend I’m the HOST of my own quilting show! haha Oh wow if I won this I’d really feel professional! :)
Someone is gonna get so lucky! ;) Love from Texas! ~bonnie
Love the post! I would like to win this iron because mine broke on Wednesday! All quilting projects are on hold until I get a new one. Maybe I can wait a few more days to see if I win this one. Thanks!
Congratulations on your grand baby girl!
Love your posts. That bunny pillow is very cool, your designs are so beautiful, I’m just getting started with the Night Before Christmas BoM!
Thanks for the giveaway. Posted a thank you on the oliso facebook page. Seen the iron before on a TV show but now after watching the video, and knowing you all at your studio like it so much I really, really hope I can win it.
I saw this iron being used in a quilting show, and it has been on my wish list ever since. I’d love to win it because it’s probably the only way I’ll be able to have one for some time to come. Sadly, my budget wont allow for it.
I like the satchel idea, and I will be making a few of them later in the year, for our family’s Secret Santa exchange. Who couldn’t use some lavender aromatherapy at that hectic time of year?! It’s perfect!
Your doggies are so cute, and so are the cats. I like the names you have given them. I’m not very original when it comes to pet names. :) We have two dogs named Zippy, and Rudy.
I hope you have a great weekend.

I LOVE all these pillows, cushions, large and small.
The bunny pillow ! what a brilliant idea.
Anyway once it is signed Bunny Hill I love it and I mean it, I do not say so only because I’d love to win the iron. LOL
Thank you Anne
Have a good day
Martine – FRANCE
Me too, I love sachets! And a good iron is always a must; mine is leaking a lot. Thanks for the chance!
ap_lemos at yahoo dot com
You know Anne, that iron is delightful. I have used a similar one at my LQS and I love that brand. What a cute idea with your sachets. Thanks as always for the inspiration!
Me too, I love sachets! Thanks for the chance!
ap_lemos at yahoo dot com
I had no idea that my dream iron actually exists! Thank you for the chance to win … :) Your blog really makes me smile out loud
Such great features on an iron – the auto lift, shut-off and easy filling. The soleplate looks nice too, and better control of steam. Thanks for the chance! Sachets are a great idea from charms, I’ll make some ahead of this year’s lavender harvest.
I’d like to win because I’m always happy to have a good iron. This one looks very interesting. Of, course, how can one not be delighted with the Lily and Will fabric? I will just have to make several of those lavender sachets. Thanks.
Oh, I love the smell of lavender. So relaxing. We have had lots of snow here this week and I have gotten to do lots of sewing. But I still have more to do! I hope I get a chance to make some pillows!
Your blog, pattern and fabrics are sew inspirational to me. Thank you for the opportunity to win this amazing iron.
K in Minne-Snow-ta
Can’t wait to make some lovely sachets – for gifts and for me too! Thanks so much for a chance to win this unbelievable iron.
WOW – an iron! I love the Oliso tagline – “Viva la Fresh!” The only thing I iron are quilt blocks, for some reason I never iron clothes if I can help it. My daughter & I were taking a class last summer at Quilt Festival in Long Beach and she had to iron on some fusible webbing. She said out loud, “OMG, I don’t think I’ve ever used an iron before!” (she’s 24). Another woman waiting for the iron asked her what kind of mother she had that she had never learned to iron – I had to laugh and answer for her – a lazy one!
I’d love to win this iron because I know it is a great iron! I got to use the Oliso irons in class at Road to California. Wow! They heat up and steam and you can leave them flat and they magically jump up so your ironing board doesn’t scorch! Love technology!
Thanks for the sachet idea and fun pillow.
PS, my dh would have picked that PJ picture too, but the bunny slippers are reality :0)
Would love to win the iron because it is such a fun color and we need a new one….plus then I could share it with my three daughters who are just learning how to sew!
Love your sachets….very cute idea!
Thanks for an incredible giveaway!
Oh what a cute pillow – and I so enjoyed your post. I would love to win the iron. It would be great to have a new one (mine is over 25 years old) it would probably iron (mine doesn’t really- it just pretends to) it probably has steam (mine doesn’t really – that’s another pretend thing) and it would be fun to use such a pretty colored one!!
Wow!!! Congratulations Anne on the new grand baby on the way! I have to ask you, do you have any grandsons? I absolutely love the big bunny pillow, what a great idea…especially adding a few treats for the furry babies, LOL. I think the real Anne is the one in the bunny slippers, don’t have a clue why I would think that…just a hunch, LOL. Now about that time you and DH spend on the couch, I totally understand. I only have two small dogs and they loan us the chairs and the love seat but the couch belongs to them…of course, if we have company they allow them to use the couch.
As for why I would like to win the iron…my gosh, “WHO WOULDN’T”??? Don’t be swayed by the fact that I’m using an iron that my daughter bought over 14 years ago. It is big and heavy with the retractable cord that rolls up inside (sometimes). That thing is like the Energizer Bunny, it just keeps going. *sigh*. Really though, I think Oliso iron is every quilters dream, I know it has been mine for a long, long time and one of these days I will have one. I don’t do facebook so I will have to hop over to the Oliso website and thank them.
The lavender sachets are beautiful and a perfect project for me. I love sachets. My grandmother used to give me satin sachets for my birthday every year and I loved them so much. Thanks so much for your fun post and the generous giveaway. GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE and Big hugs coming to you Anne. I’ve been away for a bit…a little under the weather but I had to stop by for your Pillow Talk day. Glad I did too! Hugs…
That’s an awesome-looking iron! I think my husband would love that it’s yellow. :D I adore that bunny pillow!!! I like lavender sachets as well. I grow lavender in my garden and love walking past it…so fragrant. My husband doesn’t love me drying it out in the garage though. He’s not as fond of the scent as I. :)
OMG,WHAT AN ADORABLE PILLOW!!!!I hope there is a pattern for it in the near future. And THANK YOU for the lavender sachets idea. Why didn’t I think of that????
I would love to win the iron because my iron just died very recently. It was my trusty companion for years but it just couldn’t take it anymore. It gave it’s last burst of steam and died. So you see every quilter needs a trusty iron and I’d love to win one from you!
I absolutely adore your little lavendar pillow sachets! They look so sweet! I would love to win the iron. I see it being used on Fons and Porter’s show all the time. I would make good use of it, cuz I always leave my iron laying down while trying to open up seams that need to be pressed, so this would be really handy to have and use. Thanks a bunch for the chance to win. HUGS… and stitches
Oh, that pillow! We should have known it would be a bunny! And those slippers! :-)
You will have to make a trip over to our local Lavender Hollow farm this year. It’s just a wonderful, restful place to visit, have lunch and shop.
I’d love the iron! It would certainly brighten up my sewing room with that lovely yellow!
First, congratulations on your new grand daughter! I know you are so excited!! Bet she will be quilting as soon as she can hold a needle! We, too, love our critters and here at our house we have indoor and outdoor ones! If you want the best seat in the house, you have to move a critter to get it!! Would LOVE to have that cool iron! So very modern looking! Makes a very boring chore much cheerier to do! Would love to have that iron because of the cheeriness, and the fact that I iron something just about every day! Sometimes it is quilt pieces, and sometimes it is clothes!
I have never had a descent iron for my quilting ever ! Wow what a great gift that would be ! Your blog and your colors of fabric are so soft and refreshing!!!The sachets remind me I just made a whole bunch of heart sachets !
Lavender sachets are one of my favorite things. I think they would look so wonderful done up in Lily & Will. The iron looks like it does a great job, I really like the fact you can adjust your steam output. Thank you for the chance to win one.
I would love to win that cheery, yellow iron! I sew in the basement, so I could use that wonderful bright iron
Cute, cute, cute pillow! I could use the iron…
Oh, lavender sachets! I love them and have made them as gifts before. Think it is time to make some more. Wouldn’t they be great done in Lily & Will?? The iron looks wonderful, would love a chance to try it out at my house. Thanks for the the great giveaway.
OOOOHHHHH, I love the bunny pillow with treats!!!! Did I miss something like will you be selling that pattern soon??? How about a squirrel and of course you have to have a little doggie pillow!!!!????? Thanks so much Anne, I love your patterns!!!! Congrats on the soon to be new arrival!!!! Nurse Payne
Nurse Payn
Oh my gosh ~ I LOVE the kitties and puppies keeping an eye on you so carefully. And the pillow with the pockets. I LOVE that.
Ooooooh my dream iron. The Oliso I saw somewhere not long after it was first introduced and I have drooled over that every single time I see it. That would be such a great iron to have because I had surgery this past year on both wrists and thumbs to correct problems and now they are all weak and have more pain that before the surgeries. Very depressing but picking up my iron and using it casuses pain but the Oliso would be SO nice because the picking up and tilting to use which is what causes the pain would be gone.
The sachets are super cute as well.
You have the cutest pillow so far. I’ve enjoyed each day’s pillow hop. I REALLY need the iron. My current iron should have been retired long ago but never found one that I like. My current iron has been dropped and barely heats up. The water reservior is about plugged up and I can’t get enough steam. The Oliso would be great. Please make my day!
This iron looks like it would make ironing that much more fun! I love the fact that it reduces tipping. Thank for introducing us to Oliso.
I would love to win this iron, I used on at our local quilt shop and all the other students were looking at me cause I wouldn’t share!
Love your darling pillow. I also love your fabrics–they make the perfect baby quilts and with 22 grandchildren, I’m always looking for something new and exciting to make grandchildren quilts. Your lavender sachets are adorable & it gave me a great idea. I would really enjoy a new iron with so many bells and whistles. Thanks for the opportunity.
Fun post! Ironing may not be the most fun part but it sure is essential, so anything to make it more exciting for awhile would be great! I watched the Utube video. It seems pretty smart!
Wow, I have never seen an iron with so many cool features. I would love to win this, as I would use it all the time. I am one of those quilters who loves to press my seams!!!
Lovely post. Loved your pillow talk & all the pics. I would love a pair of those bunny slippers. My little Rowenta iron is worn out & needs to be replaced. It would be wonderful to have that iron come to live at my house. I could get a lot of use out of it. I have stacks of fabrics in need of a good pressing!!
Becky
Your bunny pillow is the cutest! Does that iron say it’s “smart”? Yipee! My iron has takin’ a licken’ & doesn’t want to keep on tickin’. Sorry if this comes through twice. Gremlins in the computer this morning!
I really need a good iron. So disappointed in my current one. And congrats on the new baby!
CUte pillow :D
I’d like to win the iron because I have yet to find a decent iron to use while quilting!!!! I can’t spend the big bucks for one so I go through less expensive ones every few years.
Believe it or not, I really love good irons. I also love to make lavender sachets with charm packs! I keep a big jar of them in my laundry room and store them with my linens. I collect antique linens and a good iron came with that passion. I’ve never tried this one, but it looks impressive. Thanks for your cute post!
I am in love with your blog! I had not visited it before the Pillow Talk event! How sweet and wonderful and it is now saved as a favorite! I had to chuckle at the giveaway iron . . . my iron just shorted out and melted a corner of my linen that I finished for a cross stitched needlebook! I think I can salvage the stitched piece but now I am searching for an iron. Had not heard of a OLISO but may be worth researching. Also, I am a grandmother and it is heavenly! Hugs.
Patti
First of all I wanted to tell you that I love your wonderful
“g-ma” inspired fabrics! I’m working on Bitsy Button & Friends right now… and having lots of fun with it. Your bunny travel pillow is going to be a huge hit at Market!
Lavender sachets… I even keep one at my desk at work! They are always wonderful.
Irons are a quilters “pet peeve” and the Oliso has been on my want list for a while now! I can tell you that I am ready to upgrade from my “R” iron. The Oliso really has great features and I love the lift and they are just cute! I would love to win one!
Great post! Love your pillows!!!
Why would I love to win the iron …. my iron is about to die. I hear the Oliso iron is the BEST! Would love to try and see if it is :)
THANKS!
Okay don’t laugh….but I don’t even own an iron! WHAT!!!!
I know…I just started quilting and sadly I haven’t put out the money yet to iron. I know that sounds horrible doesn’t it..lol. But all my $$ goes to fabric…lol!
So this would be an AWESOME win!
I LOVE your little pillows. So stinkin cute!
I watched the video and am now in love with that iron. I haven’t been able to find a good iron since my 30 year old one died! Loved your post – it is nice to see our furry friends so well taken care of.
Oh would I love to win that iron! I’m always on the lookout for a good iron and need a new one so bad. Mine is not heating up very well anymore. I hope I win! I LOVE those sachets you made! I have to make some. What do you put in them?
I love the sachet pillows. I “need” to head out for some charm squares now. These would make wonderful little gifts to have on hand. Really fun iron. Now I know what the slit at the front of my iron is for!
Your bunny pillow is the cutest! I think creative people like you must have a little tape recorder on your nightstand so that when you wake up in the middle of the night with an idea you just push the button & record! Does that iron say it’s “smart” on the box? Yippee! My iron has takin’ a lickin’ & isn’t wanting to keep on tickin’!
That pillow is awesome, but we have some kids that are all about puppies, so I might need to make a different animal. That iron looks amazing and would be wonderful to have too. Thanks for the directions on the sachets, they would be great little gifts.
I had not thought sacets in years. Wonderful! The iron looks very intiguing. Thanks for the ideas Karin E:)
I love this post. Very witty and enjoyable. The bunny is just great. Is it going to be a pattern I hope? I have heard about these irons so much would love to have one. And the charm pack is always a plus. The colors in it are so soft and gentle.
Love the big bunnie and you were easy to pick out due to the bunny slippers :-) What a great iron, I would love to win it, it would make ironing more enjoyable. I am going to make some of the lavendar filled pillows – nice gift for me and others!
Great post. I think the iron would be a great addition simply because my older one has decided to drip and throw cantankerous little fits now and then.
I am an animal lover too. Love them all.
Nice post.
Hi Anne, I’ve been a blog follower, newsletter getting and fan for so long! I love hearing about your fur babies and your designs are the best. I’d love to win the Olioso iron b/c I’m badly in need of a new one and right now the finances won’t allow for anything for than a Walmart special!! Thanks for generous give-a-way!!
Oh, I’ve seen this iron on tv and it’s so cool–or hot! The yellow would fit perfectly in my sewing room which is a soft yellow. Yellow is creative and energizing. Your bunny pillow is a great idea and adorable, I just hope your hubby doesn’t mistake those doggy treats for his own.
Love your pillow…I could really use a new iron…pick me please
Love the big bunny pillow!
You and your pets always seem to have such a good time.
Wow, an iron from Olioso, amazing! count me in!
Congrats, Grandma, on the wonderful news–this is your son that married last year, right? How very very exciting.
Thanks for the pattern for the lavendar pillows, so sweet!
Love the pillow!!!!!! A few days ago I tripped over the long cord on my iron. It is now in pieces. It does get hot but I am unable to regulate. I would love to win the iron. Thanks for all you do.
I would love to win a new iron. My old black and decker has been wonderful. It has survived many fusing mistakes and still puts up with being left on over night–oops. Your posts are always so pretty. Congratulations on the new baby!
LOVED the bunny pillow and the bunny slippers–in fact, I like all things bunny! Oh my gosh, that iron would be the best prize ever. I have seen it in action on a stitching/quilting show on PBS and it is so cool! How generous of you and the company. You have also solved what I can give to my friends for V-Day–now to look for some lavender! Thanks, again for being so generous with your blog, your ideas, and your gifts. Jeanne in MO
Congratulations on being a grandma again! How exciting. I love your blog and visit almost every day to see what is new. What a cool giveaway. Thank you for the opportunity to win!
I’d love to win the iron because mine is pathetic. This one looks pretty fancy.
I love the pictures of your “babies”.
Congrats on being a new grandma soon!
What a great idea to use charms for.
I would love to win the Oliso Iron to make
more purses, totes and quilts for all my
family and friends!
Connie F
Wow! I’ve never seen an iron like that! I love the automatic lifting up, and it has a great point to it. The iron I have now has a rather rounded point, which can be annoying.
I really need a good iron! And fabric is always fun! I also love your free quilt block of the month! I just finished the first one and it was so much fun!
Congratulations on the new grandbaby!
I grinned when I saw the bunny pillow and of course in the pictures you are the one wearing the bunny slippers. :-)
You have a wonderful and a very smart husband who knew that he should say that you are the one in the bottom left. LOL!
The iron would be fun to win as I don’t have a top quality iron. Though as a beginner quilt I’m not sure I really need a top quality iron! LOL!
I’d love to have a set of the Lily and Will fabric squares as now I “need” to make some lavender sachets! Especially since I already have the lavender.
Cynthia
Love the bunny slippers and the adorable bunny pillow. My littlest one is home sick today hugging her stuffed animal bunny. The lavender sachets are such a great idea. What a lovely gift idea. I’ve seen the iron before but, as a typical mom, would never splurge on something like that for myself. Congratulations on the impending arrival. What joy she will add to your lives. Have a wonderful weekend!
Love the bunny pillow…..what a great idea and yes there should be kitty treats in it….we have to spoil our kitties…would love to win the iron…would be a purfect addition to my craftroom!! Congrats on being a grandma again…I see a Germany trip in the near future :))
Congratulations on the grandchild!
I would love the iron since i ‘ m a lousy housewife ( not much ironing experience)and now I’ ve started to quilt I find the ironing part quit hard! I regularly burn myself trying to iron minuscule parts so any help is more than welcome!
Oh my goodness, I’m drooling over that iron right now!! I’ve wanted one so bad, but I haven’t been able to afford it. Thanks for the opportunity to win it! Love that bunny pillow!
I’d love to win the iron because it’s such a nice one. Your bunny pillow is darling – my grandchildren would each love one!
Ann, I love to read your blog. You put things so great, sewing in bed, I never thought of that. HA
I have read about the iron and thought it would be great but never could afford to buy one. I would love to win. Thanks!!
PS: Congratuations on the new grand daughter.
I’d love to win the iron because it’s such a nice one. Your bunny pillow is darling – my grandchildren would all love one!
goodness Anne!! who wouldn’t want that great iron. Looks just wonderful – and it would be great to have an iron that I could keep handy –right next to my sewing table!
I love your bunny pillow! I love the pockets on the pillow! How handy…
I would love to win the iron b/c my rowenta is stuck on cotton and will not turn off. Then, I bought a cheap iron, and it died. Now I am back to the stuck on cotton iron, which is fine as long as I only iron things that can take the heat.
Now that’s a cute pillow!
Oh Anne, Love that bunny pillow. Will that ever be a pattern in the future? Would love to make one for my granddaughter who is 10 months old. Happy to hear you have a new little one on the way. They are such a joy.
The iron would come in real handy right now. Mine is beginning to misbehave. Spitting and all. Thanks for the chance to win.
Love your post and your pillow. I have been looking at that iron and I can’t believe someone is going to be so lucky.
Lovely little sachets! I would love to make some, and iron them with my new elisio. And the Anne Sutton I know would definitely be wearing bunny slippers!
nothing like a new iron to make creating things easier! Love the bunny pillow :)
I always want to make things too complicated and forget how beautiful one fabric and button can be. Of course, the lavender would be wonderful too.
Wow! I would be thrilled to have an iron that I didn’t have to prop up over and over again because the weakest part of my body are my wrists…… they get sore like crazy and that would alleviate a lot of strain. That said, I think I’m just as excited about the Lily and Will charm pack! :) ~robin, welchrobin@hotmail.com
This new iron sounds like a real winner – I haven’t owned a decent iron in years so would love to give this one a try. Your bunny pillow is so adorable!
LOVE the pillow– my favorie so far! :-) And, I’m right there with you in your love of animals! They make this world a much happier place. :-)
OH WOW!!! I would SO love to be the lucky winner of the Oliso Iron and Lily & Will charm squares!!!!!!!! :-) :-) :-) Can you tell I’m excited?! LOL It would be like Christmas all over again! …and just the perfect gift for my 50th birthday– which is coming up of February 28! Some people worry about the BIG birthdays— 30, 40, 50… but I’m excited and feel very blessed to have made it this far in life. We are expecting our first grandchild in May of this year, so 2011 is going to be a banner year for me!!!
Thanks so much for sharing your talent with us– I always am so excited to see what adorable thing you’re going to come up with next! :-)
I love your lavender sachets. They would make lovely stocking stuffers. I would love to win the iron because I’ve never owned a really nice iron and would love to see what everyone is talking about! Even more I would love the charm squares! Thanks so much for the chance!
oh my gosh I’d never heard of this iron before so I just viewed the video – it’s am amazing iron and no leaking, and if my cats jump on the ironing board it won’t fall off – it’s a miracle iron.
Love your bunny pillow – your always so full of great ideas and congrats on being a grandma again. grandchildren are the very best.
Thank you so much for the chance to win the iron. I say it at Rosemont and thought it was such a neat idea! Alas, my old iron hasn’t broken yet. (Is that good or bad?)
Love your doggies and the pic of your cat at the end. So funny.
Brenda
yep, I do hand sewing in bed almost every night. It’s the only way I can get everything done! ;0
I also work on embroidery on the airplane. On our flight home from Hawaii my sweet husband who is usually so patient with all my sewing stuff said, “You’re bumping me with your elbow with almost every stitch and it is driving me crazy.” He didn’t say anything on the flight over but couldn’t take it on the flight back.
Of course, my girlfriends have all teased him about this. ;0
Oh I have to find some lavender to make some of those sachets. I need this iron because my stash cabinet is such a mess – wrinkles everywhere. :o) Thank you for the chance.
What fun! I would love to win the iron but, more than that, I love seeing the wonderfully creative ideas you develop.
thanks,
Barbara
The bunny pillow is very cute but my favorite is the little sachets with lavender–what a great idea for friends this Valentine’s Day. The Aliso iron would be a wonderful addition in my sewing room–the ironing board cover would sure appreciate something that would not leave brown iron marks on it!!!
Your little dogs are so cute. I love the idea of pockets on a pillow, could use it for tweens to organize their little treasures.
I would just LOVE to win this wonderful iron. My dogs lives may depend on it. (I always call them my husbands dogs because if they cause any trouble…they are his…heehee.) One is a greyhound that we rescued and the other was a dog on the streets that my husband finally caught (he is a police officer)and brought home.
Every Christmas I get a gift from the two fur babies (10 and 12). Well, my iron is pathetic and I wanted a new one so I put it on their list, well needless to say, I didn’t get one. Mommy is not too happy about that, so if I win yours they will be back in good graces with me. LOL
I love your lavender idea, in fact, I am going to a little party for a friend and I am going to make her some, they will sew up quickly and be such a unique gift…thanks.
Your bunny pillow is so cute, I love that you thought of the treats. And of course we have to take care of our hubbies too.
Love your work.
Judy
I laughed out loud over you sitting in bed with the sewing machine – never thought of that! Thanks for the fun visit. I sure need a good iron…
Wow, that iron looks fantastic, I have struggled with irons for years. Did somebody finally make a good one? I love Henrietta, I’m going to start as soon as I find fabric I want to use. There’s some in my stash – but of course not enough. Is there ever?
I am constantly in search of the best iron. Would love, Love, LOVE to win!! I think your sachet idea is wonderful!!
I would love to win this iron! Having feet for it is such a good idea!
Jane
Your wagaround bunny is so cute….a girl can never have enough irons especially when she is a piecemaker…peg in kansas
Hi Anne! I would love to win the iron! I desperately need a new one, before I start making my daughter’s wedding gown, yikes! I sure don’t want to hit the silk with anything that ever touched fusible!
Your little sachets are so cute, and simple enough to get done to add to her surprises, thank you!
What a great pillow! Love seeing your furry kids… we have 2 dogs/3 cats as well, plus 2 birds!
I’d love to win the charm pack because I love your fabrics, and the iron … well, I just love irons – who can have just one iron or just one sewing machine … or one project going on at a time… just can’t be done!
Thank you for the opportunity!
OHH I need a new iron, and haven’t seen this one till now! Looks wonderful. Love your site!!! thank You
What a lovely post. I would love that iron — replace my old one that spits and just doesn’t steam well. I have seen this iron on demo and it is just fantastic. Maybe for my BD in April if I’m not the lucky winner. Thanks for the chance!
My current iron is 28 years old with a scratched teflon bottom. Tt does work but I think things could be so much better with a new iron. I have put off getting a new one as there are so many to choose from and they all look like they might be the one! This one does too!!
I do love the bunny pillow. You should make one to the shape of your sweet dogs so you won’t miss them when you travel.
Best wishes on the new granddaughter! Life changes forever for the best with grandchildren!
Love the lavender sachets. They smell so wonderful and I have lots of charm squares left over from other projects that would be just right. I haven’t had a new iron in so long. It’s something I seldom think about. I’m always concentrating on the fabric. Your bunny pillow is so cute and another great idea from you. Thanks for the pillow talk.
Oh my gosh!!! That iron is something else! I would absolutely LOVE to win that iron. The one I am using is one I got from a thrift store about 10 years ago. I’m not kidding. It is so gross and awful. I have no idea why I haven’t replaced it. Just a mind block I guess. It has scorch marks, it leaks, takes ages to heat up, you get the picture. This would be like going from a three wheel scooter to a Rolls Royce!!! Thanks for the chance Ann. (and I love your Bunny Pillow. )
Oh, Anne, I love your blog — always something fun! I love the lavender sachets — quilt and easy! Of course they would be even more fun to make with one of those amazing Oliso irons — something I’ve coveted for quite some time — thanks for the chance to win!
You touch it, it lowers…you let go, it raises. It would be the only thing in my house that does what I want it to do. Love the big bunny pillow. I didn’t realize how big until I saw Chelsea next to it looking for treats. And congrats on being a grammy again. That’s the best thing ever.
Oh, my! I love that iron! If I won that iron, I’d give it to my sister for her birthday. She’s a quilter, but she doesn’t quilt much because she has a shoulder injury and the ironing is too hard on her shoulder. This iron would really make a big difference for her, I think, if she didn’t have to do the up & down motion!
Oh, and I forgot to say… Congratulations on the upcoming birth of your granddaughter!! That’s so exciting!
I would love a new iron because my husband irons his own shirts(yeah) and the old one is tired out. Love the block of the month snowmen.
Your post is so fun! I love all the pictures of your babies!
Congratulations to you and your family! I’m sure this little girl will have a gorgeous, cuddly baby quilt, right? :)
p.s. I love jammies, too!! Flannel pj’s are the best!
What a beautiful, funny, inspiring post. Your bunny pillow is so cute, and what a great idea to add pockets to it. I’m inspired to make lavender sachets after seeing yours – especially the ones with the vintage buttons. And the Oliso iron? I would love to win it because I love to iron. Often, ironing is the only time when I stay in one place long enough to watch movies or shows on my computer, so I look forward to it… plus, ironing is so rewarding as the wrinkles leave and the fabric becomes even more beautiful.
Thank you for a wonderful post, and a wonderful way to begin my day.
I would love to win because I love the line Lilly and Will and I am in need of a new iron. My Rowenta is on it’s way out. Thanks
Mary
Ohhhh…I have such a crummy (cheap) iron. This one sounds GOOD!
I have a big jar full of lavender from my garden. Guess what I’m going to make for V. Day?
I would love to win the iron and the charm squares. I am a compulsive ironer. Thank you alot.
Wow! Those Oliso irons are so cool! I love the idea of being able to leave my iron on its “bottom”, rather than standing up where it can get knocked over so easily.
I am very interested in this iron. Have seen it and heard about it. So to win it would be so exciting.
Love your stuff and can’t wait to see what you come up with in the near future.
I’d like to win the iron for ALL it’s features and because I love the colors! I never thought that an iron could be “cute” but it is. Not as cute as your “fur kids” of course, but still cute. I can’t believe that I missed the Oliso booth at Road2CA, I must have been distracted by all that fabric!
Congratulations on becoming a grandmother again! What a lucky little girl to grow up learning to sew from you. Cute and wonderful iron (looks smaller than my big Rowenta) would be handy for applique. Creativity abounds in all you do!
I would love to win the iron…I really need a new iron and I’m thinking that would be the perfect one.
It is a NEED for me!!! I have an old one that is like Old Faithful! It’s not pretty when DH tries to sneak in to use it either!
The Oliso iron looks amazing…..would love to try it out….the bunny pillow and lavender sachets are so cute and such a great idea….would love to win…
Love this post! It’s so cute, especially your furry friends.Your pillow is great and I would love to win that iron. Congratulations on your news, so exciting!
Your post is really funny!
I would love to have a new Oliso iron! This iron makes mine look like an antique!
I love the sachets! I am going to go make a few right now. Thanks for the cute idea!
Why do I want to win the iron? Perhaps then I would actually WANT to iron…..something other than my quilts that is :)
The iron is great. I love the auto shut off because I occasionally walk away and forget to shut mine off.
Wow, that iron sounds amazing! I have a very cheap iron that cuts off all the time, so it would be great to have an Oliso! Those lavendar sachets are really cute :)
I have really enjoyed the recent blog hops Moda has had the last little bit! Although I don’t think it is helping my addiction to blogs… ;)
That iron is pretty nifty. My crawling baby would have a hard time yanking that one off the ironing board (she’s very adept and pulling cords… any cords… all the time). :)
Oh Anne! Your are sooo funny! I love to read your blog, not only for the great instructional information and eye candy, but because you really make me smile (okay, laugh out loud!). I will keep my fingers crossed that I win this iron because I’m new to appliqué and I’m always fighting with my big iron when starch appliquéing. He burns my fingers, and sometimes even scorches the fabric! My big iron just hates me and sizzles and spits whenever it’s time to get to work. I know he’d love a little sister iron and would be thrilled to have to work only when I do my regular ironing. I scoured the Internet looking for a Clover sister for him, without any success. You would put a BIG smile on his soleplate if he got a little sister! P.S. Congratulations on becoming a grandmum once again!
I love the Bunny Pillow. Lavender sachets what a lovely idea- for Valentine’s Day or Easter baskets. Charms – Umm bean bags for my classroom… can this be turned into a math game? … (My brain goes off on tangents- I call it creativity).
My iron is an old Sunbeam and winning a Pro would be so vey nice. I teach school so my small sewing room is a combination sewing room and computer room for my job. An iron that smart and practical would make my life easier(I’m constantly moving my iron when my four-legged children are in the sewing room).
Thank you Ann and Oliso for the great prize.
PS Congratulations on the new grandbaby!
Love that iron, had a chance to use one at a class. The feet are so cool. Love the pillows, and what a great post. Thank you.
What a great giveaway – I would love to win since my current iron just doesn’t stay hot!
Why would I like to win? Well I really do love the Lily & Will fabric line!! It is so cute!! Secondly, it would be nice to have an iron strictly for quilting!! I can leave it on my make-shift presser board in my corner craft area and not worry that hubby is going to ruin it!! Thanks for the giveaway and I really liked your answers…you’re a pretty funny lady!!
Wow, I love that iron. It is great the way it raises up, then lowers at a touch to use it. It looks fantastic! Thanks for a chance to win one. The color is pretty, too.
SWEET POST AS USUAL!
MY IRON IS IN BAD SHAPE+I’LL NEED A NEW ONE TO MAKE THOSE SWEET LITTLE SACHETS! THANKS FOR SHARING!
Anne, as usual you have shared some pretty wonderful photos with us. I always enjoy seeing your furkids..Yes, I think you are a true animal lover. Now that shot of your lovely slippered feet is quite attractive as well. How much would I love that Oliso iron?? Lots. I think I turn my iron on every day of the week just about, in order to press my little half square triangles etc. Oh yes, sometimes I even iron a shirt for my DH…I have heard a lot about this iron but have never seen it up close and personal. It is quite attractive I think..
I left a comment but I think the site froze and didn’t take it (or something wierd like that)! My iron is on it’s way out, so this would be perfect!
i love the pillows! i love the iron for its sharp point, pressing seams open would be easy!
Love the bunny pillow. Of course you made a bunny pillow! The surprise is that it is for your hubby! Great picture of you sewing in bed with your pink featherweight. I’m sure if you had a choice you’d be giving away a pink iron too! What an amazing giveaway and I would so love to win this iron. I bought a Rowenta a couple of years ago and thought it would last for 20 years. Sadly, it is fading away on me after only 2. It barely gets warm enough to know that it is on! A friend told me about her Oliso iron the other night and she said she would never use anything else. Sounds good to me! Fingers crossed.
Thank you for the pillow idea. How cute would that be in a new grandbaby’s room. Congrats on the new baby, grandchildren are wonderful.
I would love to win that iron, it was on my Christmas list but I received tickets to see Wicked in Chicago instead…what a terrific show.
I knew it was you in the bunny slippers!!!
Bobbie
I love the bunny pillow, anything bunny related! That is what happens when you have a child that rasies and show rabbits. He has six baby bunnies right now and will be expecting more soon. The sachet is a great idea and simple, perfect for me. And, thanks for the chance to win the iron, there is nothing better than having the great iron at your side!
Oh, how funny, I meant to say Oliso not Orso. Orso is the pasta like stuff. I must be hungry. ;)
Oh, how funny, I meant to say Oliso not Orso. Orso is the pasta like stuff. I must be hungry. ;)
I am working with Lily and Will II right now and am loving it!!! Such adorable designs and the colors are so soft! I could totally use a new iron. My daughter knocked mine off the back of my ironing board yesterday and now it doesn’t hold water, le sigh!!
I loved reading all your answers and that pillow is my favorite so far! Congratulations on your upcoming Granddaughter! I would love to be in the drawing for that super spiffy Oliso iron:)
Thanks for sharing today!
The bunny pillow is so cute. What a clever idea. The daily Moda Pillow Talk has been a fun, inspiring especially during our blizzard here. Love the iron. I saw one at our local quilt shop. It is definitely a “wow” iron; it would be great for all those projects since mine lacks all of its qualities if I would be so lucky to win it.
Wow! I had never heard of this iron before! The reason I would like to win this is because I am always interested in something new or unique. My husband is an “the old one works just fine” kind of guy, but I think if it as my adventurous spirit the way I like new things, and it’s part of encouraging those who invent new things thinking, “this could be better!”
It also would be nice to have an iron that was just for my sewing. I am constantly taking the household iron out of the laundry room, I need one that just lives in my sewing room!
Fingers crossed!
Adorable pillow! The best news is the grand baby news. Congratulations!
Thanks for participating in the blog hop. It is lovely to get to know you a bit better. I really love your designs.
If I won the iron I would give it to my mother for Valentines day. I have moved in with her now due to some financial reasons after she lost my father about a year ago. She is the one that taught me to sew when I was around 3 or 4 years old. She would set me on her lap and she would place her hands over mine as she would let me guide the fabric into the machine. She never let me get my hands to close to get hurt. I have always sewn with her and she is still my sewing partner and best friend. We have great fun sewing and creating together. She ha often stated that someday she would love to have a great new iron. Maybe this will be her day thanks to Orso and you.
Thanks for the giveaway opportunity and good luck to all the commentors.
There’s a farmers market down the street from me and there’s a wonderful lavender booth–I might buy some today and try making some sachets–thanks for the idea!
I would love to win the iron because my current iron fills my crafting area with a horrible burn smell, yet it doesn’t seem to get quite hot enough to press my seams well.
Thanks for the giveaway! It was fun to read your Pillow Talk answers!
Love the Bunny pillow, what a great idea. I would LOVE to win that iron, I could used an up grade from my current one this one is very fancy : )
I never win a thing, but I would die for that iron. Well, not really, but you know :-)
Love your patterns and fabrics………especially your darling pincushions!!!!
Love your bunny pillow and sachet ideas, I will give them a try! When my son moved out last year I gave him my Rowenta that I used for sewing and went to Wal Mart and bought me a cheapo replacement. So you know how my sewing has been going since then. I came to your blog thru Blackbird designs. Will be back often to see what’s new and can’t wait to check your older posts!
Pam W
Thanks for the cute idea, Ann. Love the iron
I love the bunny pillow – so cute and so practical! congratulations on the new granddaughter. My one and only grandchild is 8 months old now and is such a joy. I’m sad for you that she will be so far away. The iron looks like a Cadillac compared to my Black and Decker! I am intrigued by the 4-way shut off capabilities.
Thanks for a fun post and giveaway!
I have always loved your designs! Thank you for them. I’m still a wannabe appliquer, but I’m getting closer!
The iron looks amazing – so many steps above my current Black & Decker. I’d love to have one, but I’m pretty sure I could not justify the expense so winning it would be a blessing.
Love the bunny pillow also!
I’ve been shopping for a newe iron..I’d love to win! Love the lavendar sachets too!
I enjoyed your post today. So fun. I would love to win the iron too. Mine died just before Christmas when I was in the middle of several projects so I went and bought a new mid priced one at Walmart. It leaks and never seems to be hot enough.
Take care!
That yellow iron would match the new ironing board cover that I made in January. Thanks for the chance to win one. I love your bunny pillow! The pockets are a great idea.
Love the sachet idea. Just might have to whip some of those up for Valentines Day! Great teacher gift idea. I have had a terrible time finding an iron that lasts longer than 1 year before leaking. Would LOVE to try this one out. Sounds amazing.
What cute little sashets you made ~ what a neat idea! Love your patterns!
I’d love a chance to win that iron! Mine never gets the wrinkles out completely ~ LOL
Tanya
Wow! That is some kinda iron! I would love to win it because during a recent snow day, one of my daughters pulled my iron off the table. Water all over the floor and a broken iron!
This would make my sewing and crafting extra fun! Sooo Retro!
Thanks!
I love your post and would really love that iron. And lily and will is my all time favorite baby line!
I love the bunny pillow, the lavender sachets, the new baby news, and the iron. What wonderful news (about the baby)!
I’ve never heard of that type of iron! That doesn’t stop me from wanting to test drive it though!
Just sitting here, snowed and iced in and enjoying the fun news in your blog. The pillow talk event has been a fun distraction.
I would love to own this iron! I would actually put it on display instead of hiding it in the closet! =)
Thanks for the giveaway!
super awesome, gotta make me some sachets!! i would love to win the iron, i do not have one right now, i am borrowing my mother in laws :O(
thanks
What a wonderful post. I love the bunny pillow.
I have been NEEDING a new iron. Every time my husband puts his sticky fingers on the one we own, it ends up broken. :) Cool giveaway! And I too have a house full of four legged friends. :)
This is an aewsome giveaway. Love your fabrics and I have some charms so will make some sachets for Valentine friends. Thanks for the idea. The bunny pillow is one of a kind!
I would love a new iron! Mine really needs replacing! Love your site!
I have been using my great grandmas iron for years. It is very heavy and did I meantion OLD!. It has a lot of memories, but it would be nice to put it on the shelf and have a new one. Love the sachets…great for stashing around the house. Thanks for the giveaway.
What a great post! I felt like we were really sitting on the bed talking! I would love to win a new iron! What a fabulous prize. My iron is on it’s last leg. It’s a cheapo one from Walmart I bought when I first started quilting. Thanks for the giveaway!
The iron looks wonderful. My current iron is leaking and I really need a good replacement. Thanks for the post!
I iron every day. Not only my clothes for work (No more ironing basket!), but I am a quilter too and we all know how important it is to iron, iron, iron! I would love to win the Oliso iron after viewing their web site. Whata wonderful iron indeed! Pick me, pick me!!
What a precious bunny pillow! Are you going to offer the pattern for sale?
Congratulations on the new grandbaby!
Thanks for the great giveaway. Looks like a neat iron.
Oh my goodness….that is one adorable iron! I love anything Retro, and that is just about hittin’ it:)
I know this sounds crazy to say, seeing all the entries, but…I HOPE I WIN!!!
This iron looks amazing. I still have the iron that I got as a wedding present, 24 years ago. It is a cheap Black and Decker (Is that brand still in existance?) Anyway, love your ideas and thank you for the great giveaway. Thanks Olison.
Oh, do you see me over here? I’m jumping up and down! Now, can you see me! :-) I need a new iron so badly — the iron that I have does not turn off properly — so while I am sewing and ironing, I have to bend down and unplug the iron in-between the sewing, otherwise it draws electricity and dims the lights in my sewing room. Not good, right? That bright and sunny color would be perfect in my sewing room right now. Okay, I’m headed to the garage where I have my dried lavendar hanging (totally forgotten) — maybe I’ll make a few of those lavendar sachets today :-)
Wow! What a great give-a-way. I really hope I win. My GOOD iron gave out last week when working on a quilt with many strips and pieces and I had to resort to using a spare that hardly works, to finish my pieces. I NEED that iron as our senior budget does not allow me to purchase a new one at this time. I love your little sachets and am thinking they would make nice gifts and also love the black cat. We love black cats, in fact, all animals! :-)Thank you very much for the chance to win.
That iron would be such a dream come true- mine has started “spitting up” on things. Not pretty! I love your pillow!
This iron would be amazing. I think I have used something similar before and it was a night and day difference. I only have a cheap iron that takes forever to heat, and with two kids and one on the way, it would be a nice time saver, so I can actually quilt when the kiddos are asleep! GREAT Prize! :)
I’d like to win because i’ve dropped mine so many times the handle is broke. Tryed super glue but that didn’t work :(. But i saw the comment about the tape so i think i’ll try some electrical tape. If i would just stop buying all the pretty fabric and patterns i could go out and buy a new one (but i don’t think thats going to happen!). Love that bunny pillow.
I would really like to win the Olison because I don’t think my iron presses very well any more. I was just thinking the other day about getting a new iron & what would be the best to get. Thanks for the cute little sachet pattern. They will be fun to make for gifts. I love lavender. Where do you buy your lavender for the sachets?
OMG–let me count the ways! How I could use a new iron. Getting a new one always goes to the bottom of the list.
Well, this is another wonderful little project. The Lily and Will print has just the right amount of sweetness to pair with the vintage button and make lavender sachets! And the iron…well, I cannot tell you how what kind of shape mine is in after being knocked off the ironing board sooo many times. Ikids and blind dog) What a treat to read your posting today. Thank you from Iowa.
I would love this iron…AND the fabric! I’ve just started quilting, but it’s already obvious that my iron is not going to cut it . . .thanks for sharing!
I need to win this lovely iron because my iron died last week and I now have my son’s on loan…
Thank you for this wonderful give-away!
I need to win this lovely iron because my iron dies last week and I now have my son’s on loan…
Thank you for this wonderful give-away!
Just discovered the blog hop – fun fun! Love a new iron, I some times wonder if mine has lost some of it’s heating capabilities.
I have enjoyed the Pillow Talk blog hop! This is a wonderful giveaway and the new iron would go with the ironing board cover I am making! Thank you for a chance to win. Congratulations on your new grand-daughter! I have two and they are such fun :-)
Ooh, you have such great ideas! I love your blog. Thank you for the chance to win.
I love irons that are smarter about taking care of fabric than I am. Who wouldn’t love a smart iron?
I would love to win this iron. I don’t like the one I have and have been looking for something great to replace it. I will head on over to see the video. That bunny pillow is so cute. I liked seeing the dog treat disappear.
What a cute bunny pillow. Perfect for you!
Love the lavender sachets. I made a lavender and flax-seed eye pillow (which I love) and still have some lavender left over. And some charm squares. That’s a great, quick project = and the button is the perfect finishing touch!
That iron… I NEED that iron. Mine is just not heavy or hot enough to do a good job of pressing quilting fabrics. It’s okay for clothes, but I never iron clothes… haha.
Have a wonderful Friday!
oh oh oh i need that new iron, it looks wonderful and yellow is my favorite color! i love the pillow too, how creative! i am anxiously awaiting the next henrietta block. thanks so much!
Yellow is my favorite color and would make ironing such a “sunny” experience! =)
I need a new iron. My old one is on it’s last life and I have been researching them. This is my first visit to your blog and it is so fun. I love it!
The bunny slippers were the give away – so you!!! The bunny pillow was wonderful – how creative and so wonderful for him. The iron should live in my house – I sew everyday and I am just tired of buying cheap irons every few months. I would just love to have a really nice iron for a change. Hope I win. Judy C in NC

OMG! I love those sachets-what a neat idea!!! Your posts are great – love to see what is new! The Oliso iron would be amazing – I have been drooling for one – would be fabulous to win one.
Oh Goodness….Who would not just love to have a yellow iron?? It would just perk me up just to use it!
Hope to win…!!
What a great post!! Love the ideas. And what a very generous giveaway. Who can’t use a new iron, and an Oliso!!! Wow! I’ve only had two irons in 30 years of marriage, so I think I am up for a new one :-) And the Oliso looks like one of the best irons I’ve seen. Thanks!
I would love this iron. My old iron just quit making steam…..
Great pillow talk—love the bunny rabbit pillow and do not forget it is the Chinese Year of the Rabbit. Therefore you should be blessed even greater.
Love the Oliso iron. I’ve seen it demonstrated on Fons and Porter. It’s definitely the cadillac of irons.
The sachets were simple and clever. I’m now encouraged to dry some of my lavender and get this project started.
Thanks again.
I love your posts – I look everyday to see if there is anything out there. Yes to the iron – I am searching for a good iron. Seems like I can never find a good one. Thank you for all that you do – your patterns, designs, etc are my favorite!
Cute picture of you in bed with the pink sewing machine! LOL! Oh my what a wonderful iron to win! My iron is a Rowena but it’s NOT HOT!!! I realllllly want a hot iron!! I had never heard of this brand until I saw the website. Thanks for the chance!!
I love how everyones pillows are so them. I would love a new iron. I especially have to have a great iron for sewing, and I would love this one. Thanks for your great site.
I so enjoyed your post, today!!! Those sweet animals of yours always make my day!!! I used one of Oliso’s irons several years ago at a quilt class. I loved it!!! My iron is still holding out so I can’t justify buying one of those wonderful irons YET…would love to win one, though. What a great idea of using charm squares to make sachets!!! I’m off to hunt for bulk lavender on the web.
With 6 dogs and 3 granddaughters my days are filled with adventures and chaos…none of which I would trade, but I would appreciate the use of a great iron to aid me in my sewing especially since I’m trying to teach the girls to quilt and applique.
I love reading your blog and seeing pics of your furry friends! You have such cute ideas …..I will be making some sachets today….after I pick up some lavender at gramma’s pantry. Would love to try that very sunny yellow Oliso IRON!! wow.
The BUNNY pillow is so great…I love all your designs..And the pink featherweight sooo………….cooooooooool..and the iron is just the perfect think…and it is YELLOW!!!!Have a great day
Congrats to the expecting parents. Grandmotherhood is still a ways off for me yet, and I’ll wait patiently :) Thanks for the chance to win the iron – I’ve been doing some research as I am in need of replacing mine soon…and who doesn’t love Lily and Will? The sachets are a great idea. Have a grand day – Laurie
That’s a perfect pillow! I love it! I’ve never heard of the Oliso iron. I was so excited to get a Rowenta. I got it from a TV shopping network and it’s leaked since the day I got it!
I love your pillow bunny with all the pockets. How cute is that!! My son just got a puppy like yours and named it Rascal and he’s definitely a rascal….grin.
I added my thanks on FB. What a great iron. Me, I just like the color……LOL. It’s time I know my old iron must be over 12 years old.
Thanks!
Love the bunny pillow and lavendar sackets. You are really creative. Thank you for the iron giveaway. I sure could use it.
Thanks for the post! I love this yellow iron because it’s sooo Retro and my four sisters and I would look so stylish using it!
Ooo…I hope we win!
Oh, Anne, I would love to win the Oliso Smart Iron Pro because my irons have always been dumb! Therefore, I really NEED a smart iron. I love, love, LOVE the photo of you in bed with your *smart* pink Singer Featherweight Sewing Machine. That is the last thing I expected to see a picture of today. Girl, you’ve got class! Color me tickled pink! Thank you for making my day. ~Kathleen
Oh, I desperately need a new iron!!So I am also swooning over this one. I’m sure my five kitties would love it as well :-)
Love your pillow talk! That bunny pillow is so clever; same with using charms for sachets. Love that pink stack of them with the bunny on top; too cute! Oh and the real Anne has to be in those oh, so cute slippers. I watched the video on the iron; wow! that’s an amazing iron. I could really use that b/c I’m so afraid my iron is going to fall, having a cat that often jumps on the ironing board and a two year old that often bumps the board…both love to be close while I sew:)
Are your cats bigger than your dogs? — do they rule the roost, so to speak? I’ve used the Oliso iron and love it — but, I admit, I still have the inclination to set it on its end — old habits die hard.
I have some yardage of Lily and Will that I could use those charms with, and the iron would be great to help with my project. Do you think you would have room in the box to add the pink sewing machine??? Congratulations on the new grandbaby.
Your post was so very cute and I loved seeing a picture of all your pets. You certainly do have a full house, but then I have the same number as you. I’d love to win the iron because one of my cats has knocked my current one of the ironing board and it’s starting to spit now. I love them, but sometimes…
I am addicted to finding the next best iron!! Would love to try the Oliso!! Love your blog, sweet dreams!
This iron is so cool! If I won it, I would give it to my daughter, who also quilts and sews. She has a toddler, my beautiful granddaughter, and this iron looks sooooo much safer and then I wouldn’t have to worry so much about an iron falling on Zoey!
Anne, I’m so happy I found your blog through Moda Pillow Talk. You have such an amusing writing style! I am adding your blog to my Google Reader.
I would love to win the Oliso Smart Iron because my latest pursuit is sewing pillowcases for our wounded soldiers in Afghanistan via AngelsSoldiers.org. There is a lot of ironing involved in making pillowcases and the control knob just broke on my iron!
Good morning! I just love your bunny pillow…that is so adorable, and I’m sure very handy for your hubby! Your little fur-babies are all so precious…I’d have a hard time being gone from them for any length of time!
It seems like I’m always needing a new iron…every one I’ve ever gotten – even those really expensive ones – always end up spitting all over my fabrics…YUK! I’ve seen these Oliso irons at quilt shows…they look pretty cool. I’d love to give one a try!
Thanks so much for the generous give away and the opportunity to participate. Hope you have a Happy Day!
XOXO,
Cyndi
I love the lavendar sachet ideas!
The photo of you in bed with the pink sewing machine is a real winner….our idea of fun in bed! LOL!
Just watched the video for the Oliso iron and Wow…! Amazing! I’d love to have that. You never have to lift it?! And it won’t tip when I have to move my ironing board to get by (tight quarters in my sewing area). I’d love to own one. Thanks for introducing me to this iron!
What a fun post! Love your pink sewing machine…perfect for sewing in bed!
It is so time for a new iron in my sewing room. Our new kitten knocked over the ironing board and now my favorite iron is leaking a bit. (the ironing board is now secured to the wall again…long time since we’ve had kittens in the house!)
I should be getting ready for work but I just had to check out your pillow Anne. I knew it would be so bunny-clever! I must say that this Pillow Talk idea from Lissa was GENIOUS! I have had so much fun getting to know the other designers a little better and now they are bookmarked on my I-pad which maybe isn’t a god idea as I stay up way too late lying in bed checking out everything quilting!
Would, of course, love the Oliso iron. I have been wanting to replace my old SB as it does not stand up very well which means I have several perfectly shaped irons branded onto the carpet! :)
Have a great weekend BH!
Cute post Anne. I love the bunny pillow and lavender sachets you made. I would put that fancy Oliso iron to good use. My iron has a short in the cord and has to be jiggled to get it to work.
Thanks for the sweet giveaway!
I loved your post! You have such a goofy sense of humor. How can you not with all your lovely creatures!?!
I’d love a chance to win the iron. It looks like it would beat any other iron I’ve used before. Thanks for the opportunity.
I love the bunny pillow! My daughter would adore one and it is ever so much cuter than the usual travel pillow.
I agree – never too many four-legged family members to cuddle up to…..even if it’s a “bunny” that holds the remote.
I’ve only read about this new iron, have never seen one. It is the the “hottest” thing on my wish list. Hubby “only” wishes I had an automatic shut-off….LOL
Love your bunny pillow and sachets. I would really like that iron as my sewing studio walls are that color! Perfect. Thanks!
Thanks for the happy post especially the pictures of your sweet animal friends. Looking forward to the BOM post tomorrow!
Oh I need a Iron soooo bad. I have been asking all my quilting friends what their favorite Iron is. This must be a sign !!!
Love the beautiful sachets, it made me want to come visit you for the weekend! I would love a new iron, mine how needs someone to mind the cord, it likes to be just one certain way and if it is moved even a tiny bit, it just turns off. something fun always to worry about in my overcrowded sewing room. hahahahahaha!
It’s my birthday today so the iron would make a lovely present. Love the bunny pillow!
Great blog post! My poor Rowenta is on her last legs…I press fabric with her every day, and she’s just so tired. She needs to retire, so I’d love to win the new iron! I’m doing the Henrietta quilt – just too much fun!
At the age of 73 I am in need of a new iron for all my quilting projects I love all your ideas so nice
You are so much fun! I love your blog and puppies!
Love the sachets you made. They are so cute in the jary. Would love a chance to win the Oliso, thanks. My water is so hard that I’ve gone through three irons in ten years :(…
I would love a new iron. I love the idea of just sliding the iron out of the way and then reaching for it when needed. I think I will make a pillow to hold my 11 year old grandaughters remote. It is always lost. I am enjoying all the Moda Pillow Talk blogs.
I read your emails and blog all of the time and know how much you love this iron. Nothing I like better than an educated referal. I love that the controls are up where you can see them. My iron is old and tired. I keep thinbking it is going to stop completely. I’d love to own this one. It has so many wonderful features. Thanks for such a great giveaway. Love ALL of the pillows you showed.
I love the lavender sachets, the bunny pillow, lily and will and most everything I see on your site. I’d love that iron because I can’t live without one. Especially when I sew. Thanks for all the inspirations.

I need, need, need a new iron. Having seen the Oliso and drooled over it for a couple of years, I would love to give it a new home in my quilting room.
I love the pillow just like I love everything on your blog. And I would love to make those sachets. I adore the fabric. I just left a note on facebook for Oliso. My current iron does not work well and it is not even that old and was expensive. I love the design of the Oliso.
What a great post. Thanks. Thanks for the giveaway too. I dislike my iron. Haven’t been able to find one I like. Your giveaway iron might do the trick.
Love the bunny pillow! As for the iron, well, my current trusty old iron was knocked off the ironing board and needs to be replaced. And I’d rather not have to resort to the old flat irons that were my grandmother’s and which I now use as book ends, so a new iron is definitely in my future!
Since my iron just died after several years, I would LOVE to win! And, I have lavender buds from my plants that still need to be sewn into sachets. I need to get busy sewing. Its cold outside and the perfect day to stay inside and sew-and maybe have a cup of tea.
I sooo need a new iron. It is on my birthday list this year.
I would love to win this iron! I have been on the hunt for a great iron for some time now, my poor iron smells like i’m about to burn down the house. It’s been good to me for the last 12 years, but it’s so ready to retire! That lisa is amazing, all these ideas, what fun!
Lucky Gramma! Perfect timing- my R_______ iron is leaking all over the place. This Oliso sounds great, auto turnoff is a must. Thanks so much for the chance to win! Your post has been a hoot to read. I also hope to keep up with Henrietta!
I love your blog and that bunny pillow is adorable! I would love to win that iron – have been looking at them lately, but haven’t bought one yet.
That huge bunny is great fun! Congratulations on the new grandchild, so many lovely things you can make for a girl; and she’s sure to love bunnies! I’ve never seen an Oliso iron, but from the looks of it I would definitely appreciate it. My Rowenta Profession broke down after about 15 years, and my lower line Rowenta leaks so a new one at this time would be perfect.
The bunny pillow is so you! Very cute.
I would love to win the iron because my current iron is on its last legs.
I just got back from a quilt retreat where they had Oliso irons. I love them. I would love to win!
Love your pillow.
Thanks….
Thank you so much for your inspiration. And who wouldn’t love that wonderful iron. I always love your blog… I am working on Snowbound and Henrietta! Thanks.
Thanks so much for sharing the wonderful news!! Congrats and thanks for the chance to win :)
What fun pillow talk! I have been married 14 years (in May) and have been using the same iron. I got some beautiful fabric for Christmas and was starting on a Schnibbles pattern when the iron spit brown rust and goo on my white fabric! Ewww! Ever since I’ve been shopping around for a good iron. It’s been hard to find anything about irons on the internet because (don’t tell anyone) I never iron clothes! Just fabric.
(PS-I love the little lavender sachets. I’ll be making some of those.
You’re SO funny Anne! If I had a cute little pink sewing machine, I think I’d sew in bed too! Loved your pillow talk. Oh, and I’d love to have that iron because my invisible bestie has one and I need to know what all the fuss is about!!!
I’d love to win the iron because I want to keep up with the best thing to make quilting more fun! And you’ve inspired me to grow some lavender now that I have a yard–sachets next!
Great!!! We can’t wait to get the pattern for the bunny pillow! How cute! I have been coming to your blog for 2 years! I LOVE it and so do all my friends that I tell about it! I need a new iron because mine doesn’t quite heat as hot as I need it to, and it won’t stay clean!
Thank you again for a wonderful blog!
Would love to win that wonderful iron. Would like a new iron–mine likes to leak at inappropriate times. Thanks for sharing with us. This is the first time on your site for me. I will be back.
I love love love your pillow. Tutorial? Thanks sew much for all your creativity and inspiration!!!!!!!
I love your pillow and your couch and pillows, and your sense of humor. The iron would be great to have, it looks like a wonderful iron.
I love your blog!!
I am working on the BOM for this year….thank you very much for that pattern.
Pick me, pick me, pick me for the iron. I have been looking at them in the stores, I need a new iron.
Thank you for all your fabulous patters.
I think the bunny slippers would be an obvious choice, lol.
Love the pillow sachets, wonderful gift idea.
Debbie
I sure enjoyed your post Anne … you are a great writer with a terrific sense of humor and your pictures help illustrate your writing perfectly. I particularly love the pink sewing machine in bed! The sachet idea is terrific and I do have some vintage buttons hanging around … now I just need a new iron that won’t put water everywhere and some beautiful Lilly and Will to go with my buttons to make them! I am a huge pink lover as well and always enjoy seeing your pictures with all your pink things. Have a great day!
I have wanted one of these irons for a long time! They appear to be wonderful and I’ve seen them on quilt shows before. Love your idea of leaving treats for the dog, that could come in handy for me! Thanks for the chance to win….
it was hard for me to concentrate on the text cause the gang’s photos were so cute. I would sew in bed also if I had a pink machine!
It was so much fun reading your blog this morning. I knew your pillow would have something to do with an animal. You are so creative. Love your blog and all your patterns and ideas. The iron looks so neat. It would be a great addition to anyones sewing room. Thanks!
I’ve heard so many wonderful things about that iron! I would love to win it! I also love your pink featherweight machine. Never thought about sewing with my machine in bed.. hmmmmm.
Your presentation to answering the questions was so interesting. Kept me reading to know more about you as an artist. The Iron is definitely a good one!
The lavender sachets are really sweet and cute. The Oliso iron would be a dream come true for me. My iron sucks and I can’t afford the Oliso I want. Thank you for the opportunity to win.
Mary
Love the bunny pillow you made for your hubby. Very cute, indeed.
I’ve heard rave reviews from many about the Oliso iron and would love to own one. My budget is way too tight to purchase one so winning would make me do the bunny hop.
Love the funky look of the iron. perfect for piecing.
I like the pink sewing machine. …and I’m beginning to like pink again too.
A new iron would be wonderful!! TGIF Looking forward to sewing time tonight. This bo
Smart irons are the best invention ever and right about now I could use any iron. I might have dropped my iron on the floor this past weekend while quilting…
I love the pillow too. You don’t really grasp how big it is until little Chelsea is next to it.
Wow – I’d love to win that iron for a few reasons — I’m always searching for the perfect iron, it would make pressing so much easier/quicker, plus it’s just dang cute! Love the color! Thanks for the sachet idea — this will make sweet little Valentine gifts for my friends! Can’t wait for tomorrow to see what Henrietta is up to this month!
Gosh, what I could do with a new iron…The bunny pillow is so cute and all your furry babies. Thanks for the giveaway. Happy Red Dress day.
Your pillow is adorable and oh, so unique! I love your designs and your sense of humor. If the Oliso iron would make me enjoy using it, it would be such an addition to my life. I have destroyed so many and still hate trying to find a great one. Thanks for this opportunity.
I would love to win the Oliso iron, especially if you rate it so highly. I am so tired of trying to find a good iron………..one that doesn’t leak, spit, cut off at just when I need to press that last strip set, or poop out after only a month or two. Your sachets are so pretty in pink. I can almost smell that lavender through the screen.
Patsy in FL
Your rabbit is so cute. We all need a little comfort when we’re alone.
Like me, my iron is aging. I love it, but I know one of these days it won’t work anymore when I turn it on.
The Oliso is such a cheery color. It would make ironing so much fun!
Great bunny pillow! Congratulations on the new Grandkid. Greetings from Seoul
You are a hoot! I’d love to win the iron because frankly, I never fork over alot of money on an iron, and it would be great to have a really good one.
Love those Lavender Sachets – I will have to make some! I would love to win the iron because I am still trying to find the perfect one! My newest one (less than 1 year old) I believe is on the way out – doesn’t want to steam anymore. I’ve tried all kinds – cheap, expensive, no-name, brand name – but not an Oliso! Thanks for the chance!
Anne, I love all your fabrics and patterns. I’m seem to be iron deficient. I can’t find one that works. Maybe that oliso would be the one! Thanks for the cute sachet idea, something quick, easy, and finishable ( hmmm is that a word?)
Sue
Oh how I need a new iron!! I could really use another one for all the piecing I have been doing!
I love the bunny pillow. Mine would definitely hold the remote control for my husband and the dog treats would not stay hidden for long. My dog, Murphy, loves his treats. I would love to win the iron. Thanks for the giveaway.
Oh wow! Would love to win the iron! Your blog and website are so very elegant; I would love to be able to create some of that elegance here in my home.
Love that practical pillow. My LQS owner had an Oliso for years – it was so cool – err, hot – well, you know what I mean!
Love the mini pillow sachets! Great idea for a quick and easy gift. Congratulations on being a grandmother again :) How fun!
Never had heard of that iron. Thanks for sharing the info. I have a horrible time finding Irons that don’t die within the year. I could use a reliable one.
Oh that pink sewing machine is to die for. Love it.
Your little sachets pillows are so cute, I’m going to make some. That looks like an awesome iron. Love your bunny pillow too.
I just love your pillow. You are so creative. I would love to win the iron – thank you so much for the chance to enter. I live in a house with 4 men (3 sons and a husband)that actually do their own ironing. It would be so nice to have an iron I could hide away and use only for my sewing. Thanks again and congratulations on the new grandbaby.
I love your pink sewing machine! I would love to win that nifty iron, if Anne says it’s a great iron, it must be, so it would be great to win one!
Oh! How fantastic–I’d love a chance to win a new iron. When piecing and making quilts a great iron is very handy! =)
OMG what a great giveway, I saw these irons at quilt show and came very close to purchasing. I just loved the features like how it automatically lifts up. Love your bunny pillow, I too would have to leave little treats for my dog.
Such a beautiful post, love those little fur babies and they photograph so well! As for your big news, we will be Grandmas again in may together! My daughter and her husband are also due then. This little girl will speak English and Bengali and a bit of Hindu since her Dad is Indian. Congratulations!
Oh and the iron looks fabulous too!
I would love to win the iron because I have never had a really good iron. I love yellow, so cheery. Love the bunny pillow, it is adorable. Thanks for the chance to win the iron. Fingers are crossed.
I would love to win the iron because I hate ironing. My iron never seems to get hot enough and it randomly spots spits water on my fabric.
Oh I would love to win this new iron. Mine just died. What a wonderful give away. Love your pattern for today. I need to make several and just put them all around the house.
That iron is awesome! I would love to win it. The part I like best is that you don’t have to set it up and it turns off by itself.
First, congratulations on your grandchild! Your fabrics, patterns and blog are such a joy! I would love to win the Oliso iron because I need a great iron! I try iron after iron and they just don’t do a good job. Thanks for the give away!
What an adorable bunny pillow! I know a couple of people that would love to own it. that iron! FANTASTIC! I would love to win. I could use a new iron. They just don’t last like they should. Thanks for the chance!
Congratulations on your new granddaughter. I am celebrating my 16th grandchild, the last 11 are boys. I just wanted to sew something PINK!!!Hope I win, I love your sachets.
Hi Bunny,
Love the iron and I already have one and love it to! If I were to win, I would donated it to my quilt guild to use at our meetings. Take care and congrads on your new “Grandma” status. So, does that mean you have to design a new baby quilt pattern for the “new” little one and us? Great! I think that is a wonderful idea :)!
I would love to win an osilo iron. I have used them at quilt retreats and love them.
Love the pet pictures and what a clever idea for the charm squares. Where do you buy your lavender. The Oliso iron is on my Amazon wish list, but just too pricey for me. I used this iron at our local Quilt Shop and fell in love with it. Sigh !! Would love to have it.
Bunnies, my favorite!! I’ve been shopping for a new iron. Just watched the video and oh my, I just have to have it, one way or the other. Thanks for all your great patterns. Pat
OH Oh Oh pick me pick me!!! That is an awesome iron I would love to own it. I have enjoyed this pillow talk blog hop wake up every morning and go straight to the computer just to read about my favorite desighers. Congratulations on the new little one coming into your life! One can never have enough of those precious grand babies!!!!
What a fun post! Your bunny pillow is great. I watched the video about the iron. Wow that is one fantastic iron! I was not familiar with this brand but now I want one! Congratulations on your new granddaughter.
Reading thru the Comments is so much fun! We all just love you, Anne! You are truly so creative and so generous – thank you so very much! What a delightful lady you are!
Congratulations to you and your family on the impending arrival of a new granddaughter – what a precious gift to your family!
And what a ‘cool’ iron – it might even make ironing fun!!!
Hi Anne! First off I would like to thank you so much for your wonderful free BOMs! I love the Snowbound series and Henriatta is just too cute for words!
I have been a stitcher for years, but you have tempted me to get into sewing as well. My goal is to get good enough at applique your Rabbits Prefer Chocolate quilt some day! I love that one!
It would be great to win the wonderful iron because my iron is coming up on 15 years here soon. I am also a big color lover and I must say that just looking at that bright yellow iron makes me happy!
Thanks again and Happy Designing and Sewing!
This has been such a great way for us to get to know all of you designers so much better… You are very funny! And congratulations on your new grandbaby!
I made my Henrietta Whiskers block during the snow/ice storm this week- she’s too cute! Thanks for sharing and being a part of the pillow talk. I’m finding it to be very amusing and surprising!
Oh, to have a really good iron~ How many mornings have I heard hubby gasp as my Rowenta burped on his shirt. Love your pillow, btw. And, I too am a pajama girl. Not an early riser like you. Always wished I coulda been but it just isn’t in my genes!
Congratulations on your new granddaughter! I would like a new iron because right now mine is held together with electrical tape after a few unfortunate falls from my ironing board!
Would I ever love to have that iron! I learned to iron from the best as my mother was an avid ironer. I still have the coke bottle and sprinkler top she used to sprinkle her clothes. Of course, after her clothes were sprinkled, they were rolled up and placed in the frig for awhile. Oh yes, she also made her own liquid starch. I sure wish she was still here to see what modern technology has done with the art of ironing.
LOL, what a great post! Love it. I don’t HAVE a big iron, just a few travel sized ones…so I would love to win this. Thanks for a chance at winning.
I enjoyed reading on your blog and had to chuckle over your furry children, oh so cute. You have such a homey place that is so welcoming. Congratulations on the news of your new granddaughter, nothing is better than a grandchild. That iron is the bomb. What an absolutely wonderful addition to all of your sewing notions. Whoever gets this iron will be one happy lady.
Congrats on your new grandchild! Thanks for a funny and sweet post! I really like the bunny pillow!
I would love to win a new iron. And I promise I won’t use it in bed!!
An iron? REALLY? I do so need a new iron. My ironing isn’t behaving – it’s spits. Lavender sachet pillows … what a lovely idea. THANKS!
First, congratulations on becoming a grandma again. How exciting for you and for them. I would love to win the Oliso iron. So far I can’t even tell you how many irons I have bought and replaced. I have no idea how we are so hard on irons! I am currently in need of a new one (yet again) and would be THRILLED to have such a nice iron to use Thanks to you and Oliso for the generous giveaway!!
You’re so funny Anne!
Love those Lavender sachets, great idea especially with the vintage button and all.
I absolutely detest ironing and that could change if I won the Oliso ;)
I never thought I could get so excited about an IRON, but this one looks fabulous! Now that I’m a quilter, I spend a lot of time at the ironing board, and this iron could make that a much more pleasant experience. Thanks for the giveaway and project ideas!
Congratulations with you’r new granddaughter to come.
No wonder you are aufgeregt!
Would love to win the Lilly & Will charmsquars since I have a lot off lavender from our garden.
Marjan, Bonaire Netherlands Antilles
A huge congrats on the expected grandbaby! I’d wager there’s some project with pink Lily & Will fabrics in the works! Love those slippers, although love those polka dot PJs, too! Just watched the iron video. Looks like a fabulous iron, and I know it would be so happy to live at my house! There is lots of fabric here needing ironing! Penny sends puppy hugs to your gang … and she’s coveting Chelsea’s treats!
That pillow for the remote is just way too cute. As for the iron, I dropped mine a little while ago and now something is rattling inside and I think the temperature gage is off because its starting to leave scorch marks on my ironing board cover(which is fairly new). So I would love to win your oliso iron and I promise not to drop it.
A really good iron is as important as a really nice stitch! Mine is up for replacement–so I’d love to win one! I really enjoy doing your quilts–have done several and they are so comforting and charming! The bunny pillow is very you too!!!
My third granddaughter should be arriving Tuesday, unless she surprises us over the weekend. Congrats! Thanks for a chance to win.
Hi! Ann, I think it’s you wearing the bunny slippers. I had a pair of those back in the day, my beagle Bagel, would attack my bunnies whenever I wore them.(I fell alot back then)I just found a bag of lavender in my sewingroom I guess I’ll be making sachets. Happy me!!!Thanks for the chance to win that wonderful Oliso iron. I’d love to try that xtremesteam, it sounds perfect for piecing… Great photos of your many beasts, they’re so cute. I almost forgot where did you get a PINK Featherweight sewing machine? WOW!!!!Thanks again!!!;-)
The lavendersachets look nice and are easy to make. Love the bunny pillow.
Thanks for the giveaway. I am still working on snowbound ;-)
Marjan, Bonaire NA
The pillow is so clever! I love the pockets. The sachets are a great idea, I hadn’t thought of charms. Love the smell of lavender. We lived in England for several years, and that lovely scent always takes me back. I’m just amazed at the iron giveaway! I saw one in action at the Phoenix Quilt Festival, and was just amazed by it. Thank you for your generous giveaway!
Congratulations!!! Oh I am so jealous, I still don’t have a granddaughter–only grandsons. Love the pillow, what a great idea. Love the iron, there is so much to think about when sewing and there are always distractions–thank goodness the iron thinks for itself!!!
I would love to have this fascinating iron….great addition to my quilting room really really a needful. I am ready to hang my finished Rabbits prefer Chocolate hand appliqued quilt….such pleasure to drift away gazing at it and having my morning coffee.
Congratulations on being a grandma again! How wonderful! I love the sachet idea. I’ve been trying to think of some little thing to do for the ladies I work with at Valentines-this will be perfect! The iron looks intriguing. I hadn’t heard of it before but the design is brilliant.
What a fun pillow! Your ideas are so cute. If I don’t win the iron I might just have to go out and buy one.
That new grandbaby is gonna totally take the bunny pillow! :)
Love all the ideas and giveaway. Thx!!!
OPPS, forgot to say Congrats on being a grandma again.
I love the story. The pets are so cute as always. I need an iron. I have a Walmart special that was 15 dollars and the box came with a coffee maker and blender. The lavender sachets are pretty in pink.Thank you for the giveaway.
Great post, (as usual) from one of my favorite blogs. Is it sad that I have a love of small appliances???? I really NEED a new iron, and the features on this one look wonderful.
Thanks for the opportunity to win a big girl iron lol that would sure come in handy love all you fabrics thank you Anne
What do I like about the Oliso? Well for starters never dropping my iron again! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve done that. Setting it back on it’s end and doing it hastily and it falls. Water leaks everywhere and I’m jumping so it doesn’t land on my toes. This iron looks awesome.
I’d love to win one of those new-fangled irons and enter the new millenium of pressing! It looks great! Pick me! Thanks so much!
I love the pillow sachets! There can!t be anything more soothing than a whiff of lavender…except a new iron! I’ve been putting off buying a new one and have been limping along with my leaky old one. Thank you for giving us an opportunity to win a dream iron and for sharing such a darling pillow!
Oh my goodness, it was so much fun to read your blog today! You are such a creative lady! The little sachets are wonderful done up in some of your own fabric…and that iron IS amazing! what quilter in her right mind wouldn’t like one of those. I was particularly impressed with its stability when she tilted her table. I would love to own one of these.
Love the lavender pillow sachets. Lavender smells divine! And, the fabric is so pretty.
I love the pillow idea….so cute. I would love to win because I have fallen in love with the lily and will line and would love to make another baby quilt and i need a new iron as my pup knocked the ironing board and iron over…the iron lost.
Oh, my I need a new iron and it isn’t in the new budget! I would love to win one! The bunny slippers is definitely you, Anne… :)
Oh, I’d love to win one of those irons. Fantastic! Love the pillow you made — it’s so cute!
I love the little sachets…………..great gifts for valentines. The iron give away is unbelievable!!!!!!! I saw a demo on these and hope to own one someday, Sure would make pressing all those quilting seams a lot easier.
I believe that the photo of the bunny slippers is you!
Jill
The iron is pretty and has a lot of great features. I would love to win!! (Does it come in pink????) Congratulations on the new Granddaughter!! Babies are such a blessing! I love the pillow, but I bet your hubby and Chelsea still miss you when you are gone. Did I also mention that my iron I use now is Avocado Green!!? :)
The bunny pillow is such a fun idea :) I would love to win, I could always use a better iron! :)
Love the bunny pillow and the pockets for those essential bed items is just too much. I have just one furry quilting assistant – the QUEEN wouldn’t allow another. I watched the iron video – this would be great for my MOM who has trouble lifting an iron.
Cute pillow and I enjoyed your blog. I agree that this is a “dream iron” with so many wonderful features. I’ve had lots of bad irons. Some years back I found one I really liked, so I bought three. Sadly, now all are on their last legs despite my husband’s re-wiring and such. And naturally that iron is discontinued now. Just my luck! But this Oliso iron has several features that my iron doesn’t — I love that it lifts so you don’t have to stand it up. In my crowded sewing room I’m always bumping into the ironing board so my iron is in constant danger of hitting the floor. So, I’d really love to win! Thanks for the chance.
Hi Anne, the bunny pillow is darling as is all of your patterns. Just started BOM Night Before Christmas and anxiously awaiting for Feb 5 for next Henrietta Whiskers. Would love to win the iron after watching it on Fons and Porter for so long. Have never seen anything quite like it. It looks perfect for a quilter. Thanks for the chance to win.
Hi Anne. I love all your animals (and bunnies too). And such a great iron. I have been looking for a new iron as mine bit the dust recently. I think it has been moved too many times and just pooped out. And I need a good iron to (finally) begin Baltimore Bunnies with! Does that cover why I’d like to win? Thanks!
I would love to win the iron because I really need a new one. I love your Blog.
Congratulations on the new granddaughter!! What wonderful news.
LOVE the bunny pillow!! Although I can hear him say “where is that pillow so I can find the remote (as he is sitting on it).
I would LOVE to win the iron. Heck, I would love to win the pattern for the bunny pillow or anything you have designed. I hope to start Rabbits Prefer Chocolate this year. Thank you for your beautiful work.
I would love a new iron to say the least!! I iron everything because I love the crisp feel and smell..(am I weird??) Your pillow is a great idea..my husband has his remote attached also..what is up with that?? Thanks again!!
What a wonderful idea for my lavender from WA! Lavender is so soothing and believ me, I need soothing. I am taking care of my 95 year old mother with dementia.
I love your blog and I love your designs.
The reason I would like to win the iron? I never win anything! Plus, I really want to try out the iron.
Hugs!
The Oliso iron was on my Christmas wish list but alas, Santa ran out of them by the time he reached our house…or maybe he didn’t realize that we moved at the beginning of December and left it at our old house. Drat!
The lavender sachets would make wonderful hostess gifts. Thanks for the inspiration, Anne.
Oh, and I concur with Mr. Bunny Tales…I would have said that was you in the lower left photo too but the slippers in the lower right photo are a dead giveaway! *wink*
Love the animals filling the animals-only sofa lol. I use that iron at work at the LQS and always covet it.
What a lovely post. Everything you make is so beautiful but I must confess it is those little four legged friends who melt my heart. Congratulations on the news from Doug and Elke, really wonderful. Hope you have a fabulous February.
Love your “multi-purpose” bunny. You have such great ideas and I always love reading your blog. That has to be you with the pink bunny slippers.
Seems like I’m always forgetting to turn off my iron – even have a sign posted on my front door to remind me to turn it off before I leave the house so a new fancy iron with all the bells and whistles is just what I need. Hope I’m the lucky one!
Hugs to the fur babies – they’re all so cute!
Love the big bunny pillow…and of course there should be treats for the pets!
Cute idea for the sachets.
I’d love to win the iron…it looks great.
Thanks for all your designs, a group of us are working on Tiny Town and Henrietta, and have The Night Before Christmas on the back burner!
