• To Market and Back!

Did you miss me?  I sure missed all of you!  I feel like I’ve been gone forever!  Quilt market was fun, fun, fun but I am sure glad to be back home. I was greeted by the tail waggers club the minute I walked in the door.  Both the President and the Vice President of the tail waggers club were EXCITED to see me! When we arrived in Houston we were greeted with 90 degree weather and when we left we had 4 inches of rain and thunderstorms.  They do things extreme in Texas! So on with the photos!  Here I am, the chief  Bunny, taking the famous Pioneer Woman…

  • She’s a Cover Girl

Behind the scenes at Bunny Hill can get a little crazy!   I admit it, REALLY crazy! This Snuggle Bunny pattern took me over 65 photographs to get this cover photo.  64 rejects for one pattern!    It’s my favorite cover EVER because it’s my grand-daughter Alyssa!  She is such a snuggle bunny! Alyssa sat in a chair holding this bunny while I got up and down from a ladder to adjust her hair and then adjust the bunny over and over!  For a least an hour she did what I asked.  It was after school, she must have been tired and yet she sat for as long as I…

  • Lily & Will in a Magazine!

It amazes me to see other people designing with my fabric!  When I see the creativity I’m amazed!   Just look at what I found! Lily & Will in pink & brown!  There’s that yummy pink satin ruffle around the edge! Or maybe you prefer green and brown?  I love the way this design falls into place! And blue and brown?  The use of the stripe in the border just amazes me! These quilts are featured in the December/January issue of Quick Quilts and Cabbage Rose Quilt Shop is selling the kits!  If you want one make sure you order it now.  Kits are always limited in supply. Happy Tuesday…

  • The longest contest in blog history!

It’s been two months since I started my “guess the theme of my newest block of the month” contest.   It’s about time to announce the winner don’t you think?  I had to make sure the prize included the pattern AND bundles of my newest fabric line Lily & Will II.  Finally everything is ready and we have a winner!  I printed out your emails as they came in with the correct answer and this morning I randomly picked a lucky winner! Here’s the grand prize!  Did I mention it includes some Cath Kidston sewing tins? And here’s the winner! Nancy Brooks who gave me this guess on August 29th: “Anne…OK…

  • Lily & Will have a sister & brother!

Sis is yellow and brother is aqua!  How’s that for the perfect siblings?  It’s been heaven the last few weeks having these fabrics to play with!  I am in love with these colors! This is Lily & Will II in yummy yellow and aqua!  Yards and yards of this fabric have been made into quilts in a very short time.  There’s so much more I wanted to do, but we ran out of time.  Quilt Market is next week and everything has to be done now! Three of the four quilts we had time to make are for baby, but this fabric is for any age!  I want a bed…

  • What’s on the back of your quilt?

Do you remember this photo?  Many of you were trying to figure out how I was going to use the alphabet panel you see in the background in my quilt.  Just so happens this panel comes in red, blue and gray. I fell in love with the red and here’s what I did with it! It’s been stitched into the back of my quilt The Night Before Christmas! You can have a panel on your quilt too! You’ll have to buy a panel of course and some fabric to go around it.  Choose your favorite color!  I’ve included instructions and measurements inside the pattern as an option! While I was…
