Fillers
What are fillers? They’re photos you use when you don’t have time to blog! Photos that make you think I’m still here when in actuality I’m in the background working like a maniac to get ready for market. Yep, that’s me the market maniac, along with many other designers I’m sure.
You may get more of these fillers this week. Can’t promise they’ll all be pink. Maybe I’ll try another color. Oh who am I kidding I don’t have any other colors!
I have a new fabric line due for spring, quilts to get ready for this market, and patterns to write. It’s always like this just before market. But when you see what I call “fillers” you’ll know I’m still here.
I’ll do the giveaway soon for all you good guessers out there. It’s a small little group so your odds are great. If I remember right it’s around 140. One in about 140 chance of winning!
I’ll be back soon I promise.
Anne

Hi Anne I hope all the behind the scene work is going well. I love the fillers as I find I have a fair bit of free time and I check your blog everyday hoping to see something to brighten my day. My favorite filler would be the bitty owl as I collect owls. I also have some vintage ribbon found in a thrift shop similar to your bunny ribbon but mine has little owls along it. And I might have to find some shakers for storing beads coz they look great.
Sandra
Fillers are great and is there somewhere I can get that Owl he is so cute. I can only imagine how busy you are because we are moving to another city at end of month to be with my grandson so it has been a busy summer. Good luck and lots of fun at market. Sandra

Oh I love all your pink goodness… Have fun getting ready for Market, wish I could make it again this year… but hopefully next year! Last year at Market I got your “Le Jardin” BOM for the shop, and we are now 11 ladies who meet monthly to sew our blocks. It is such a lovely quilt, and I really love working on the blocks! (I’m on block 6 now…)
Have a great time at Market!!

Oh, glorious pink. I love pink. I have to tell you I stole your idea for the salt shakers to store beads. I have a few in my sewing room and they look so pretty. I remember seeing it in a photo from a quilt magazine. thanks for the idea.

Is this little piggy going to Market? Love it! And, what a great bead storage idea! I have some old crystal S&P’s that would look great dressed up on my new white ribbon shelf.

Anne, feel free to post your fillers any time….such wonderful eye candy! Now I know where that term comes from, some of this stuff actually looks good enough to eat! I was going to start itemizing my favorites here, but is there a limit to number of words I can post? I love it all! Your little owl is too, too precious! Oh, and that pig!!! And where did you get those little S&Ps w/ PINK caps? I have some tiny ones like that, but the caps are silver. Those really are good odds for the giveaway…GOOD LUCK to everyone, even me :-)

Love all the pink, especially the dotted boxes, the great owl and the butter dish. Ummm, was that a piece of chocolate still wrapped in the bunny hands? If it is, then that’s my very favorite!

Anne, I love ALL of the filler pictures. I am in love with the Owl pin cushion…oh my gosh…so adorable! My mom used to collect owls, ceramic, hand made, any she could find. Oh how she would have loved that pin cushion!!! We lost her to breast cancer when I was 26 and I got a few of her small knic-knac owls and still have them displayed. And the polka dot boxes, fabric and floss! Well, who am I kidding? I love everything. I can’t even imagine how busy you are trying to get ready for market. I’m sure you don’t have enough extra time to stop and read these kinds of rambling posts…lol, sorry about that. Hugs!!!
