Happy 4th of July!

Surprise!  It’s July 4th and I’m in the mood to celebrate! Here’s block seven of  “Snowbound” a day early, just in case you have time to sew today in-between barbecues and fireworks!  Just click on “Free” on the top bar of my blog, scroll down the page and you’ll find the pattern!

My “Snowbound” quilt just came back from Lynne my quilter and it’s ready for the pretty red binding.  All of my embellishments were stitched on ahead of time so I could take photos, so Lynne had to quilt “around” them. This wasn’t easy and she went above and beyond for me.   She deserves extra applause!  Can’t wait to show you the finished quilt!  It’s such a happy one!

    hello – is it just me !! can any one explain why when i type in the bing browser “bunnyhillblog.com” i get a different site yet whe i type it in google its ok? could this be a bug in my system or is any one else having same probs ?

    Thanks for sharing Snowbound July block with us–I love this series! And glad you enjoyed England and Paris–two really great places with sooo many photogenic spots. Love them!

    Hi Anne, I so love the Snowbound BOM you are so generously sharing with us. Thank you so much. I collect snowmen and this quilt will be the perfect touch this winter. I have been putting my Tisket a Tasket blocks together as time permits and I’m having so much fun with them. Thanks again for sharing your adorable designs. Looking forward to reading the article in the QH.

    Anne, I so enjoyed the article in QH’s A Quilter’s Home section of the current issue. I immeditely identified the basket quilt and thought “Hmm, I know that quilter.” Your home is beautiful and every room looks so inviting and sunny. You have my idea studio; my home has small rooms so having a large space will not happen anytime soon.

    Your pics are wonderful of Paris and Cotswald. I too took a little vacation; to Las Vegas and guess what I bought? A jelly roll of your Lilly & Will in green. It’s so funny because I saw it in the store and that was it!! I just HAD to have it. I usually show great restraint when shopping but this was something special! I took it home and the green matches my front room walls perfectly. How about that? So now I’m making a 9 patch quilt. Thanks Anne for creating something so wonderfully delightful and cheery. I love the fabric, designs,color and the little bunnies hidden in the designs.

    Anne, the new block is darling, as usual! I’m going to be making two blocks at once here, got so busy in June, haven’t done that one yet! But lots of sewing time today, since we have storms in the forecast all day and won’t be going to the big picnic. I can’t believe you’re tempting me with 25% off, I’m trying so hard to be ‘good’….
