Pretty Things

My studio is filled with pretty things today.  I wish I could show you what’s on the work table under this chandelier.  I’ve been working on it for awhile and everyday I get closer to completion.  Soon I’ll be giving you hints on what it is.  If you guess it right you’ll be entered into a drawing for a really nice prize!  Remember, you’ve had one hint already.  It’s Christmas!

The light from the chandelier is so pretty!  It’s amazing how it lights up the studio!  To install the chandelier we had to remove the ceiling fan, so now I have two of these fans in the studio!

In pink of course.  The fans help cool the room while I’m working under the chandelier.   Oh what we do in the name of pretty!

This morning, before I started working, I took Bitsy for a ride in this pretty pink stroller!

There’s a reason for the stroller.

She arrived home from the vet with clean teeth and stitches in her rear end.  She had to have a few little tumors removed.  She’s having one of those awful weeks.

I think she deserves her own post and she does too!  I’ll be back to tell you all about Bitsy.

Hubby’s finger is better.  They added another week of antibiotics and it seems to be working.  There’s not a germ left in him.  Bitsy’s on antibiotics now too.  Chelsea, Mooch and I are left with all the germs.  Yuck!

Hugs,

Anne

Bunny for Mila

You know I’m “into” babies these days with my new Fabric line “Lily & Will”  for Moda Fabrics, but I would have NEVER thought of doing something this cute with my fabric until I saw Mila’s blog!

If you haven’t seen the blog called Mila’s Daydreams you are in for a treat.  Mila’s mom is SO creative.    Not only does she have a precious baby, she has such a creative blog!  Mila, this bunny is for you!

Enjoy your visit and hope you smile as much as I did!  Thanks to my friend Sue for sharing  this link with me!

Interview by Pat Sloan!

Oh my gosh I love this lady!  Pat is the one person who can always make me smile.  She has more energy than anyone I know AND she accomplishes more in one day than most of us do in a week.  She teaches, has a radio show, several blogs, designs fabrics, and well you get the picture!   Today she is interviewing me on her blog!  It’s Anne Sutton day over at Pat’s blog!

Pat has that famous radio show and she’s been trying to get me on there forever.  BUT, I hate doing things like that so I keep making up excuses. When she asked to interview me I sat down at my computer, smiling the entire time of course, and answered all her questions.

Maybe you’ll find out a secret or two about me you didn’t know!   Like what I had for breakfast this morning?

While you’re reading the interview over at Pat’s, Bitsy is getting her teeth cleaned.  I’ll let you know how she does!

Hugs,

Anne

UPS gets me in trouble

UPS just gets me in so much trouble.  Granted we do a lot of shipping by UPS, but seems that brown truck is here almost every day with deliveries too!

The good thing is that my hubby thinks everything I’m buying is for you!  It’s great having a web site because I can disguise a lot of boxes as Bunny Hill product.  “Oh that’s for Bunny Hill”, I say.  Like this market trolley I bought on Amazon last week…

The UPS box it arrived in was small!  About the size of the polka dot pocket on the bag!  The bag folds up and fits inside the pocket!    Think of this at a farmer’s market or a quilt show!  Carry it with you and as soon as your arms fill up with veggies or fabric you open it up and have a second pair of hands!  It’s made by Reisenthel of Germany.  I bought it in the USA, even though I just got back from Germany.  This would make NO sense at all to my husband so mum’s the word.

I added some Bunny Hill products to the web site this week.  I love these leather ThimblePads. Love them!  I use them in place of a thimble and they can be re-used over and over.  I prefer the leather pads over the plastic and I’ve been looking all over for them.  Now that I’ve finally found them, I’ll keep them in stock.

I’ve also added YLI silk thread for applique!  I’ve been thinking about this for awhile.  When I found it packaged as a “collection” I ordered some and had it shipped to me UPS of course.  You’ll save money on the set,  and I get more Bunny Hill product delivered by UPS!  That’s a good thing!

You can find the trolley on Amazon.  You’ll find the thimble pads and silk thread on my web site  under “What’s New”.

I keep waiting to see who the LUCKY winner is going to be of those beautiful Snowbound blocks that Karen is giving away.  One of you could win!  I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you.  Those block are wonderful!

And, I’ll be back on Wednesday to tell you who the FAMOUS quilter is who will be interviewing me on her blog.  She’s really famous and here’s the best clue I can give you…she has more ENERGY than anyone I know.

Hugs,

Anne
