Pleated satin ruffles by the yard! Can you imagine? Yards and yards of it arrived at Bunny Hill this week! The poor driver in the brown truck may never be the same! The minute I saw the Moda box I was out the door to greet him! How do I explain to my UPS driver that satin ruffles just make my day, that satin ruffles are elegant, sophisticated, and ooh la la what’s a girl to do?
I’m surrounded by the most beautiful trim you’ve ever seen in chocolate, pink, brown and blue! Just look at these! Your local quilt store can order these trims from Moda, starting in May at International Quilt Market! They are part of my fabric line, and you’re going to love them. Just wait until you see what I’m doing with these pleated ruffles!
Here’s a little peak at some of what’s coming! You’ll be able to purchase these ruffles by the yard and use them for so many things. I’ll be sharing ideas with you! Satin as only Moda can do. I think you’re going to fall in love! I’ll have a “ruffle” tutorial coming soon, and I’ll show you how easy it is to sew with! Satin pleated ruffles in a quilt shop…”it’s a good thing”, right Martha?
Tres Elegant.
Where do I buy these satin ruffles? I am trying to finish a quilt for my sister-in-law before her baby comes next month and I love these!
Are these satin’s run free? Cause it would be pretty rough if after all the pretty were made if they ran…. all over the rest of the quilt! Just a mention from a former fabric shop worker… we had lots of people come in with these sort of problems! Asking how do I fix this?
whooo hoooo! they look good enough to eat…can’t wait to see more..!
oh my goodness me, I LOVE those ruffles and then that photo with the quilt – melts my heart! I have never made a quilt but visiting just now makes me want to try! Can’t wait to visit again soon.
Hugs

As a child I always loved blankets that had satin binding! The smooth, slippery feel against my face; and the shine against the matte of the blanket fabric. And you added ruffles to all that goodness!!! Do I want some? Yes, please and thank you ;o)
