PS: My favorite color is pink and my 68th birthday is July 10th. :) Do you have a pattern? Would like to do this for myself, since I am a retired high school teacher from western SD, I can do whatever I want! :)

Hi Anne, it’s so funny that you mention crochet. I also recently picked up my old crochet hook and I am now crocheting again after many many years of not crocheting. I also just remembered the stitches as if it was yesterday. I crocheted a hat. It was so cold here in the south this year so I decided to crochet a hat for myself. It’s posted on my blog (not sure how far back I posted about it). I also scrapbook, of course sewing, embroidery, and my first love would have to be Tole painting, or decorative painting. I will go and check out the pattern. It sounds alot like the one I crocheted years ago. I will have to take a picture of it and post it on my blog.

I enjoy embroidery. One of the things I love about your patterns is that they usually contain some embroidery mixed with applique. I am in a guild and learning everyday. I cant say I am really great at it, but I like it. (Not quite as much as quilting). Have fun reuniting with your old/new craft. The brain is amazing in that some things are like riding a bike, we can just pick it back up after years. Have a good one!

I have been knitting lately. I try to spend sometime in the evening with my husband watching a bit of TV. After being away at work all day I feel bad if I always hole up in my sewing room. I am working on a throw of soft neutrals, green and PINK!

There is something so satisfying in doing things with your hands. I have been on a cross stitch craze lately. I can sit in my chair and work away while spending time with my husband, watching an old movie or just relaxing. I love it! Funny, because I too, did it years ago, and never dreamed I’d pick it up again, but it’s more enjoyable than I remembered!! Love your (of course, pink) yarns. Have fun!

Hi Anne–I love to knit–easy things–right now I knit 4 baby hats for the newborns at my local hospital–I especially enjoy knitting while I am doing laundry!!!
I also forgot to tell you that I have my Tisket-Tasket blocks all made and they are on display on my workshop site–it was last week that I got them finished–so scroll down some–I made each one into a little wall hanging by itself for my front door!!! Thank you soo much!!
