My mommy made me dress up,
for Valentine’s day today.
I really didn’t want to,
but she made me anyway.
My tutu’s tight, the bows bug me,
and who knows about my crown,
I feel like a dog gone wrong
I may never live this down.
If Valentine’s Day was for the dogs,
I’d always get a treat,
and I wouldn’t have to dress up
or try and look so sweet.
But then I heard about my friends,
so at least I’m not alone,
their mommies made them dress up too,
I can almost hear them groan.
I don’t think I can stand here
much longer for today
so take a peek at Bella,
and maybe Gibby wants to play.
And then come back to visit,
or you’ll miss my treat today.
I put some things together,
for a special give away!
Just leave a comment and tell me,
that you think I’m really cute,
and maybe I will pick your name
on Wednesday for the loot!
And here’s the loot; one of you will win a box of See’s Candy (assorted yummy chocolates) along with a bundle of Moda Bella fat quarters, 16 total!
We’ll be back on Wednesday to announce a winner so you know what to do! Have a doggone good day everyone! Bella and Gibby are having a give away too!
Hugs,
Anne Chelsea

You are tooo cute and look so beautiful in pink.
Chelsea, you look ADORABLE! Thank you for sharing these pics, my three furrie children and I loved seeing them! :o)
OhMiGosh! I loved that last picture. It was saying “Oh MOM! C’mon! Do I HAVE to keep wearing this?” LMAO! I just laughed. Too cute!
I just love the outfits. You are just too cute. My 2 little dogs would be so happy to be friends with you!
Thanks for the chance to enter.
Lynda
Omg!!!! You are the cutest thing ever! Love the bows! Thanks for the giveaway!
to cute. my daughter just got a small dog and I just know that this would tickle her as well.
Chelsea looks a little sheepish but very cute. The crown suits her, I think.
This is TOO FUNNY, and she is SOOO CUTE. We have a Rat Terrier and our DD tries to dress her up too, she won’t walk with any clothes on tho unless we say “We are going TO PETSMART” then she will walk to the car. THEY ARE QUITE THE LITTLE ENTERTAINERS AREN’T THEY. Thanks for sharing and I would love a bundle of your fabric. Enjoy your pets, I know we do. :)
LOL, what a riot! I wonder what that dog REALLY thought about her crazy owners! The colors of those fat quarters are gorgeous. Thanks for counting me in.
Dear, dear Chelsea you really do look so gorgeous. Happy Valentines to you.
That’s the cutest dog outfit I’ve ever seen! I’d love to be in the drawing!
So cute! Please enter me in your drawing. Thanks!
How very cute, and what a great giveaway! Thanks for entering me :-)
Oooooh… your dog is soooo cute! She reminds me of my “Belle”, who had to cross that bridge, due to old age. I do still miss her… even after 8 years have gone by.
Pls add my name in your virtual hat…

Oooo! That Moda Bella looks delicious! And your puppy–sooo cute!
Chelsea, you are a very sweet girl and a Perfect Valentine!
How hilarious! Oh the things we do to “love” (i.e. torment) our precious animals :-) So glad they’re forgiving :-D Thanks for the delightful giveaway!
You are too cute. I think Gibby got of the easiest, what with the ear, and, cough, cough, other stuff. Thanks for the give away.
Oh my gosh Ann, your dog is so cute. I don’t have a dog but you’re really tempting me. I like the costume. This blog always makes me smile, thanks for sharing.
Chelsea is the star! She definetley out shines them all! Thanks for the giveaway Sharonj.
OMGosh! You are a cute one!
Too cute! I’m glad I’m not the only one who dresses my “kids” for every occasion! Love that pink……
The tutu and crown are just divine – I know you probably think it looks silly but you are just a picture – you really look cute Chelsea – thanks you’ve brought a smile to my face today
Oh, how cute! Thanks for the chance!
That dog looks like he/she can’t quite decide if this is fun or torture–but there is no question that the giveaway is perfect. I could have a lot of fun with that fabric, but I probably won’t make dog clothes. Sorry.
So cute! What a great idea for Valentines!
Chelsea, I showed your picture and your poem to my Maggie Mae and now she has costume and poetry envy! She told me to tell you that doggie moms can be eccentric sometimes and to hang in there for the doggie treats!
LOL how cute! Don’t know how you managed to keep your hat on Chelsea! You are truly talented!
I love the Valentine headpiece :) Thanks for offering such a wonderful giveaway!
Oh you are just the cutest ever! I love your ankle bows!
Chelsea,
Does the random # generator go as high as 452? You are soooo cute, by the way!!!
The dog is sssssoooooo cute!!!! I wish my dog would let me do things like that to her – nope – never going to happen. I also love the dogs expressions in the photo’s ………. are you sure the dog wanted to do this???? lol Pet’s are so great!!
Too cute! All the photos are great! I don’t know how you choose which one is cutest.
Who says “looks don’t count”? All three look great; Chelsea, Bella and Gibby all have their own blog spots and deserve every treat they get for Valentine’s Day celebrations! Dogs rule, cats drool! (And I have 2 cats).
Cute! I would never dress my doggies like that, but I have to see she is cute!!
Donna
That is just too cute! Someone has lots of talent.
Chelsea, you are really, really cute! Maggie the YorkiePoo loves to dress up, too.
That is the cuter photo I’ve seen in awhile. My two dogs would never let me do that!! Of course, one’s too heavy and one knows what is going on!! I’m jealous! Seriously, I’m so jealous!!!!
How adorable! I would love to win! :)
OMG: that’s the cutest doggie I’ve EVER seen!!! Can I haz it? ^_^
how cute!!!!!!
You are such a good sport Chelsea. My Dolly would have run around until she got everything off. And the men in my household would have had something to say, too.
Love the skirt…too cute!
Well, Chelsea, all I can say is that you have the patience of a saint. ;) You do make a darling little Valentine though. I hope making everyone smile was worth dressing up like Cupid.
Just adorable! Crown is superb but the skirt is a little short.
Now Chelsea is one cute Valentine!!! I love animals; but hubby doesn’t want one, so I have to enjoy other people’s and my 2 granddogs….a shizhu and a boxer.
LOVE the look……annoyed!!! LOL My chihuahua doesn’t look like that…..soooo adorable, even with the tutu!!!
Hi Chelsea; you really don’t need anything to make you cute, you are a jewel naturally. My human dresses me up too, but I think I am adorable. I am an English Bulldog named Murphy and I love Chihuahuas; especially you Chelsea. You should fly out here to Michigan and visit me; I will share all my toys with you and take you out for a candlelight dinner; driven by my human chauffeur. I will give you flowers and jewelery as you are a very beautiful girl and should have all the finer things. Your human is a very generous and talented mom like mine. I will remain your faithful servant my love; Murphy and his mom Merrie:)
OOoohhh what a sweet fur baby you have,to let you dress her like that!!
I have just started quilting so thank you for the opportunity to build up my sash of must haves! :):)
SO ADORABLE!! I wish I had a pet that would put up with being dressed up. There would be a swat – with claws – from my cat, and the dog I had as a kid would just shake everything off. Oh well, your pictures fit the bill!!
I must still be sick… I called Chelsea, Bella…. sorry… probably because I’m intending to hop over to see Bella and Gibby too. My dog is probably thinking that she is glad that we don’t do this to her! Although she does put up with a lot when the grandkids come!
Poor Bella…. always something isn’t it! She does look cute! Patient…. but cute! She is probably wondering what she gets out of all of this?
Hope it was a wonderful day for you all. I was sick at home! Bleahhhh! Oh well life goes on….
Take care.
My name is Ginger, and I’m a puppy, too! My mommy Amy was not permitted to doll me up – too much testosterone in the house from my Daddy and 2 brothers. You look adorable, and I respect you, girl! I love to sit on or near my mommy when she sews or embroiders. I’d love to make her sit still a long time working with those fat quarters!
OHH you are too cute. You look like a sweet car hop or lady at the candy store. Such a little lady. :%)
You are so adorable!
Bella, Bella dressed up for her fella,
Frillies and lace galore.
Gibby looks sad and borderline mad
This “love” thing can be such a bore!
But Chelsea, dear Chelsea,
Please say it ain’t so!
A queen supreme in her fine array
And absolutely NO WHERE TO GO!!! OH NO!!!
Chelsea, my cat is wearing something very similar, but does not allow pitures…
Wow, Chelsea! You look really cute! It always amazes us cats that you dogs put up with so much. If our lady even attempted something like that we’d quickly let her know what we thought of it. We have her trained enough not to try! GT and Jacki (ROTFL).
You are absolutely ADORABLE! But Chloe my best buddy would never stand for it! You made mom proud!
Too funny. I enjoy making things for our puppy to dress up in too. She hates it as well. However, your dog looked so pink and valentiney…if that’s a word. Great costume and looking ever so doggie-dorable.
Mary
She is such a good puppy! There is no way my four legged one would tolerate that… so sweet. I would love to win, please enter me in the drawing although I don’t think Chelsea needs anyone else to tell her she is cute, she might be starting to get a swelled head. Then the crown won’t fit anymore!
Oh you are such a little cutie all dolled up like that. Sorry you don’t like it. I’d give you some hugs and kisses, and a doggie treat (just a little one – so your tutu doesn’t get tighter) for being such a good girl. As for the give away – I don’t know which is better, See’s Candy or the Moda fabric!
Chelsea is absolutely adorable!
I don’t think that I have ever seen such a beautiful doggie. You are just the cutest!! Your mommy is very good to you and you are very good to sit for the photo shoot. I understand that that is a very difficult job. So, my pretty, please pick my name for one of the lovely gifts. Have a nice day!!
The pink tutu is the best! Chelsea you are just too darn cute! I have to stop by this blog each day just to see what you and your furry friends are up to.
Chelsea you are so cute. I loved the bows especially and your poem was so wonderful. You are very multi-talented! Love your pictures.
I think that is the cutie baby ,They are like our childen .
OMG -Chelsea you are the cutest valentine ever! But seriously, you do not look too upset about your outfit. You are looking good girlfriend!!
xo
Prize or No Prize – Chelsea you are ADORABLE… and a real trooper… :)
Chelsea is definitly the cutest!
Can’t believe Chelsea stood still for the pics–she is oh, so cute!
Chelsea you look way too cute , I love the crown.
Chelsea you are just too cute. The tutu and crown are adorable. You remind me so much of my granddog George, who is also a blond chihuahua.
Oh sweet sweet Chelsea…if only you could talk, lol.
Thanks for the lovely poem and a terrific giveaway.
Chelsea looks adorable. We were burried in snow yesterday, so seeing her picture was an enjoyable respite. We have a greyhound that wears pajamas at night so she will be warm and a coat when she goes out. She really does not like anything covering her ears and head. She shakes furiously to get it off. I don’t think she would have put up with this costume.
Love your website and animal tales.
Pat
Chelsea is adorable!! What a good sport she is too letting your dress her up and posing so pretty for the camera. Love it!!
Just too cute!
Chelsea….you are too cute.
I think that pink must be your color, you look so cute! Hope the elastic is not too tight, at least you are ready for some ballet lessons, might do the trick ;-). Keep getting treats and loose wait at the same time! Wouldn’t that be great?
Oh my goodness, Chelsea looks so cute and slim too in her new outfit. She is a very good sport to model so beautifully. Thanks for a chance to win chocolate and fabrics. Wow!!
You are all soooo cute, my blonde boy[lemon beagle] would have nothing to do with dressing up so I have to live through you all. Very sweet indeed.
Very cute! Both the rhyme and the outfits! I love the ‘ankle’ bows!
what a cute skirt on that tush, and that crown, such professional photography,I could never get that with my dog well or my sewing. You gave me such a lift,Thinking at what you all must have gone thru to accomplish this to give us all a giggle. BRAVO. I can hardley get my pets photo-usually it ends up being a tail …so I know what this took. Bravo.
I really really like your pink tones might I add how well I could use pink tones?
Chelsea, you look loverly! My favorite is your beautiful crown. You look great in your Valentine finery!
Thanks for the fun giveaway you and your friends put together.
Chelsea looks adorable!! Love the outfit.
Chelsea you are very, very cute. You’re also a good sport for letting mom dress you up and posting your pictures.
Ribbons & Bows, glowing pink in all her crowning glory Chelsea and with her gift bag…What a fabulous photo. You are sooo creative & you MUST be a dog whisperer to be able to do what you do. Lets talk people an oscar for Chelesa. I so look forward to you both. You are both too adorABLE. I think you should really consider a comic strip or book deal with Chelsea you two are naturals. You give us SO much pleasure. I laugh out LOUD with you ~ in pink~~~always in pink. oh I would really like to win the pink give aaway??
Happy Valentine’s Day to you all. I love the spirit. Here in Sweden it’s much more sober. Not many who dress up their dogs for a big day like this!
Chelsea, I know what you mean about itchy clothes, I had to get dressed up for a tea party with my daughters this weekend. What I wanted to wear, and what they picked out were 2 different things. I think you deserve to rest with your feet up for a while. Maybe even snack on a low fat doggie treat. Just remember that when you look back at the pictures it will all be worth it.
What a sweetie of a dog!
And I’ve been using more solids lately… they’re wonderful. :)
How adorable! Must be one patient dog…putting up with wearing a costume like that! It sure made for an excellent photo session, though.
Sandra :)
Chelsea you are just adorable! I love all of your pink…you look like a princess! I would love to win your giveaway!

Chelsea is so sweet. Isn’t it great when our pets humor us and make us smile? Love the idea! Thanks for doing the giveaway!
Oh Chelsea! You are cute as a button! What we gals suffer for fashion’s sake, am I right?
Oh Chelsea you look so fine
with tutu, tiara and bows…
will I win this prize?
Nobody but you (and Anne) will know!
If the Olympics had a doggie dress-up show
you’d win the gold, of this I know!
You are the cutest puppy I’ve ever seen…
and if I win this prize…i’d be a dream!
Love to you sweet little puppy princess!
I love the way the tutu accentuates your little fat rolls! :)
(would I get any bonus points at all if I said I could use that fabric to make a funky outfit for my cats? Would that make you feel better?)Nichole
the pics of your dog were a riot-could almost see her rolling her eyes wondering what the human would do next! really enjoy your blog and inspirations.

P.S. My retriever mutt would have eaten the boys off her feet.
Chelsea, You are going to have too big of a head for your crown with all these people telling you how cute you are! But you are cute and a very PATIENT dog!!!
Charlotte S – CA
You are just the cutest thing! No one at my house is willing to dress up. I hope you didn’t have to stay dressed too long. Hugs!
Oh how cute you look Chelsea! Such an adorable outfit. I hope you have a special place to go to wear your outfit. My 2 furry kids don’t let me dress them up. They just lay around on my fabrics and quilts.
I only wish I could do this with my cats!! Too cute, we are of the same mind. I also love my cats and my horse.
Oh my gosh, Chelsea is just adorable. From the lower/front right picture I’m guessing Chelsea isn’t too thrilled but hey, if treats are involved even a dog will endure a little snickering. LOL
Vicki
Chelsea,
where were you when I was a little girl. All I had to dress were the cats. You are just precious in that pink outfit. Can’t wait to see your Easter outfit!
I am sorry that you are so embarassed, Chelsea.
I don’t think the outfit would make it on
Project Runway but it’s not the model’s fault.
Doris from Texas
Oh my goodness….does anybody posting have an “in” at Hallmark? This is too good! Anne…you need to submit this photo collage!! Love it..adorable!! I just love those little facial expressions.
Pink is for puppies! You look so cute! Phoebe just had a big red bow around her neck, and she thought that was too much. SO hats and hearts off to you, Chelsea.
You really are so very cute. I specially like the tutu. But I can understand that , as a dog, you might have a different opinion.

Chelsea I love your Valentine costume!!! I love the beautiful colors of the wool!! They look like the colors of Spring!!!
So, so cute!! Isn’t it fun to have a dog that will let you dress her up! If I’m not too late, I would love to make something wonderful with those fabrics!!
Melanie

Debbie aka Marblesbestfriend
clutterbat at yahoo dot com

Chelsea,
You are the cutest “doggie” Valentine! I just love your outfit! And thanks for the awesome contest.
With 356 previous comments, I don’t stand a chance, but please pick me anyway.
What a good sport you are Chelsea.
Please put my name in the drawing.
Thanks,
Loved the poem and Chelsea!
Okay, that is too funny. Your doggie looks like it’s humoring you while getting ready to bite someone hard. Very, very cute!
You are adorable and long suffering. Tell your mommy to squeeze into the skirt when you are finished with it. Keep the crown.
I am laughing so hard after seeing the photo of Chelsea and reading the poem. I do believe she said exactly that!
Yes, Chelsea, you are very cute. What do you really think of all those frills Anne dresses you in? Wouldn’t you rather she just give you a bunny quilt?
Super cute!!! Love the photos!
I think your sweet dog is so cute. Thanks for the give away.
Jacqueline
Chelsea, You are truly a patient pup and quite photogenic! I nominate you for America’s Next Top (Puppy) Model.
You can be my valentine anytime, Chelsea!
Too cute! She’s always cute, but this is over the top cute. Great photos also. Love the blog — look forward to reading!
Oh Chelsea, your cuteness factor is indeed stellar! You were so gracious to accomodate your mommy! Our Schnauzer, Harry, thought you looked adorable! thanks for being such a good sport! I hope you got a lovely (low fat) treat :-) <3
Chelsea, you poor thing. It will be over soon, but you do look like a CUTY!
What a sweet little Chelsea! She’s loving being a pretty Valentine, you can tell by the shy coquette look! I love your blog, Ann…a daily bit of sunshine!
Our doggie, Daisy, and 2 kitties keep me company when I am stitching; whoever is awake has to attack the thread…it’s a challenge but they are having fun.
Happy day to you.
Too to cute.
Chelsea is such a perfect little girl. I used to dress up my Greyhound, Sadie, and she hated it until she discovered everyone loved it and paid even more attention to her. She loved anything that was a people magnet.
Chelsea, you are not only cute but adorable too!!
You girls have the BEST time!! Thank you for letting us in on your fun.
XOXO!!
Please pick my name for I would jump with glee!

I’ve never seen a more fashionable Valentine’s Dog! The deep brown eyes, the smooth brown coat, why, it’s dark chocolate and nougat to match the See’s Candies!
Please draw my name, sweet Chelsea…
Chelsea is so cute but it really does look like she doesn’t think so. Animals are so great to put up with us. Thanks for the pictures.
Anne you are so sweet giving things away and giving a free bom.
Chelsea’s too cute and she know’s it. I can almost see her smiling. Thanks for the chuckle and the non fat treat!
Chelsea, you are so cute! You look just like my CiCi! She puts up with all my loving also! Love to win the fabric and chocolates too!
Chelsea, not only are you beautiful in pink, but you are an amazing poet too! What a special little girl you are!!!
Oh Chelsea, love the tutu! My little Madde could barely stand bows in her ears for pictures, good job!
Holidays are such fun. Cooked a Valentine dinner, pork chops, baked potatoes and double chocolate brownies. Chelsea is tooo cute.
Chelsea– you are dog-gone too cute for words! Everyone should have a pink tutu, don’t you think?
Diane
Your dog is amazing, quite the model! Not my dog. She stands very still when all dressed up, waiting for the costume to be removed. Which can take a while as we laugh hilariously….
I do not have a dog but looking at those pictures have made me rethink that. Sooooo Cute!
Good Morning!
I am so impressed—what a cute picture and poem. Someone’s really creative!! Looks like a very generous give away. It would be such an honor to be chosen. Thank you for the opportunity.
Beverly in WA
How cute you are all dressed up in your pink tutu and ribbons. Love the poem too. A very nice giveaway. Sign me up please
I’m still laughing over that poem… and seriously, tortured or not, your dog is darling. Thanks for the give away!
Oh, my gosh my friend has a fellow named “Romeo” that Chelsea must meet. Romeo has a fab wardrobe too. He dresses for every event and even has his own ‘ride”. He has 3 girlfriends, but is always looking for a better babe.
Oh, Chelsea I can sympathize with you. My name is Rocco and when they made me wear that Santa suit I was so embarrassed!! I didn’t have to wear anything for Valentines day. Thank goodness. I think you look lovely tho. I am on a diet too, but it is not going too well. My grandpa caves to my sad eyes and gives me alittle extra. I would love to win the fabric for my grandma. I am living with grandpa and grandma while mom is going to school. I am so happy when she comes here on week-ends to see me. Hang in there, Chelsea. Love Rocco
Chelsea is adorable, if a bit embarassed looking, and the poem is just terrific. Beautiful website! Michele
Absolutley adorable. Now what is embarassing about your outfit, Chelsea? Be grateful you are not the one that was neutered last week…..see there is a bright side….
As always, Chelsea, you are the belle of the ball in your outfit. Always adorable (despite your recent weight gain)and quite fashionable.
Which took longer, writing the poem or dressing Chelsea? Hee! Thank you for the give-away offer!
Omigosh Chelsea you look so sweet,
to look at you is really a treat
I must admit, if it comes to me,
the special one would be the See.
Special hearts to you, belated it may be,
I think you’re cute, and would LOVE the loot,
if you should decide to pick me.

How adorable! Pink is definitely her color!
looks like Chelsea’s diet worked, she looks great in her little outfit even if she wishes she could just tear it off and then tear it up…. Beautiful little unhappy face… Is she dreading Easter, is there a Easter Bonnet in her future….
Chelsea always makes me smile! She sure has a great taste in fabric.
See’s has candy as good as my grandmother made! Especially the peanut brittle. Thanks for the chuckle, Chelsea! You are more patient than any child I know!
Hope you and Chelsea had a great Valentine’s Day. Did you get as dressed up as Chelsea?
O Chelsea you are the cutest!
Dressed like this I think you had a great Valentine’s Day.

Ahhh! You look so cute. Don’t be mad at your mama.
Chelsea, you sure were a good sport about dressing up. The indignities that have to be suffered to be Guest Blogger…
Hahaha! Chelsea — you’re adorable! I especially love the top picture in that last collage — you don’t look very happy! And you’re making a whole bunch of us in non-See’s land drool over the prospect of winning a box of chocolates!!! Thanks for a great giveaway Chelsea!
Chelsea, you look like a little doll – oh, sorry – I mean dog! You’re a precious Valentine.
think Chelsea liked the pink refrigerator more….cracked me up with some of the looks she gave the camera! Don’t you know she was thinking Oh please Anne I’ve gained weight and it makes me look fat! She is such sweet natured dog…….
forget the fabric just send the See’s….can’t get it in Kansas and I love those chocolates…..but then like Chelsea I’ve gained weight….so
What fun that you can get Chelsea to stand still for dressing up and a photo. My cats would never do that!
You are not just cute….you are adorable!!!
Chelsea, you are a beautiful Valentine Girl and a very good sport!

Karen H
Chelsea looks so darned cute!!!
What a cutie. I love to see Chelsea’s expressions. She must love her Mommy to let her dress her up.
First off, she’s a beautiful Valentine, nothing funny about her. What good natured pets. Mine can’t stand a bandanna. But then men are rarely into fashion. Love the poem!
Ha – that is too hilarious! Look at those cute bows!
She’s adorable in that outfit!
Those fabrics just look yummy- even better than the candy, and that’s saying something!
Chelsea — It is too bad that doggies cannot have chocolate. Then you could have helped yourselves to treats while photos were taken. I would be more than happy to relieve you of the temptation. But you do look quite cute!!
Chelsea, you are so adorable! Makes me want to make my little Westie look all pretty like you! You should be leading off a dog show! Just makes me want to hug you!
Chelsea should be in the Mardi paws parade!!Sp pretty in pink!
Chelsea,
You look darling! You put a BIG SMILE on my face today! Hope you had a wonderful Valentine’s Day.
Chelsea’s reeeeeeeeeeeeeally stylin’! I hope she’s pulling lots of green out for St. Pat’s Day….and then there’s Easter…and let’s start working on 4th of July now (I’m seeing lots of glitz for that one!)
I have seen that same look in the eyes of my teenagers. I am only doing this because I love you but if you ever tell anyone…
Don’t worry Chelsea we won’t tell. Especially, with such a great bribe…FQ bundle and chocolate…yum…
Chelsea, you’re too cute for words!! Sometimes you just have to humor mommy :-)
Very Cute! I love the new block of the month patterns!
My cat is jealous of Chelsea’s outfit!
Chelsea you look adorible. As does the fabric and the choclate…mmmmmmmmm
Chelsea, your outfit is just beautiful…..as I opened the blog today it just brought a smile to my face even in the face of expecting another 9 inches of snow today. You are such a special girl to not only wear the outfit but to pose for your picture as well. Good Girl!
Linda M.
Oh, those poor doggies! But I love all the creativity and I’d love a chance to win your prizes!
Happy Valentines Day!
Cute! I like the bows on the front legs the best. She looks like she is considering doing the same to you.
Well, when you thought you had “seen everything” up pops the latest crave “Valentine Dogs”! Keep up the great work ladies and continue to “live, laugh and dance”! Love your work!

OMG!! Sweet! What a cute little valentine Chelsea is…sort of like a ‘Doggie Cupid’. Judging by that “woe is me” look in the last shot, it must have been time for a little Valentine doggy treat (diet, of course!)from mom, for being such a good girl.
Dear Chelsea,
I wish I had a little girl dog…my dog’s name is Snoopy and he’s a boy and my husband and son have forbidden me from dressing him up any more…so sad for me.
Happy Valentines to Chelsea from Snoopy.

Chelsea doesn’t look as upset as Bella did, maybe she’d like to dress up for all the holidays. The three of you brought a smile and chuckled to a lot of people. Thanks you.

and the bows upon your feet,
your heart-shaped crown and frilly skirt,
You are so cute and precious. I love the little bows on your feet and I am sorry your tutu is toooo tight. She still look beautiful though.
dear Anne, today our whole family is together for dinner. We celebrate Valentine’s Day and love. We miss our beloved saradog, who passed away in October after giving our family love, loyalty and joy for 19 years. I said, “I know exactly what dog we want, she is adorable, loyal and sweet as pie…let me show you.” and I clicked to your blog (I am a loyal reader) and everyone cooooed and ahhhhhed at Chelsea in all her finery. You made us smile and laugh today. thank you.
susan
Bella, Gibby, and especially you, Chelsea, all look wonderful! Sorry the bow is bugging you and your tutu is too tight..but you sure look perfect!
Too cute! I love your blog. It is a bright part of my day. Thanks so much for sharing. Hugs this Valentine’s Day! Vanya
You are one of my favorite sites to follow. Your poem was a hoot, my Harvey would never stand to wear a tutu, so I guess I’ll put my own crown on instead. Keep up the good work. Happy Valentine’s Day. Mary Ann
Sooo Sweet! Love that Crown!
My granddog Roxy would love to wear this outfit. She’s a real clothes dog. Chelsea looks very cute and wears it well. Is Bitsy jealous or does she have her own and she’s just not sharing? What fun, thanks.
WOW.. and BOW WOW..just really delightful…The crown is the “crowning” touch…my cats all looked at the photos, and Aspen rubbed against the monitor in purr-fect agreement with me!!
Too funny. I love the little ankle bows and the poem was really clever.
Chelsea , vous êtes une adorable petite chienne , votre maman a de la chance de pouvoir vous habiller ainsi. Vous êtes une star en ce jour de Saint Valentin . Amitié Mamifleur

Oh Chelsea! You look adorable! :)
Chelsea, you’re not just cute, you’re adorable! Such a beautiful coordinated outfit certainly deserves a special puppy Valentine’s Day treat.
Chelsea you’re adorable. I love the outfit but I really adore the Sees candy!
Oh Chelsea, I love your ankle bows! Your crown just proves you are the queen of Valentines Day. (Anne, I may never stop giggling over those pics, but don’t tell Chelsea.)
Chelsea, you are very cute
you look awesome in your tutu!
You’re doing your job oh-so-well,
and looking good in frou-frou!
I had a doggie once that we dressed up,
he let us put on anything! So
remember that your mommy does it
‘cuz she’s showing you she loves you!
Not every doggie has a mom
or dad that treats them that way.
I’ve got 5 dogs, 4 of which
were found as dump-offs/throwaways.
Doggies love us, and all they want
is for us to love them too.
Give your mom a lot of licks,
Happy Valentine’s Day,from us to you!
Nancy, Yella Dog, Jif, Whitey, Footz, and Odie
Oh how cute, I would love to dress Sophie up but it paralizes her so she is a nudeist ummm.
ROTFLOL! The skirt is adoreable, the bows and crown…my tummy hurts from laughing. Chelsea you deserve an extra treat, being a fashion diva is hard work.
Chelsea,
You must be exhausted from your photo shoot. The pictures are the bomb! Rest up so you can pick a lucky winner! Happy Valentine’s Day XOXO
Chelsea–you are a wonderful poet and look so very cute in your outfit. I think you need to tell Anne that you need some real bling for your tiara. V-day hugs!

Chelsea- you look absolutely adorable! That shade of pink is so becoming on you! Thank you for sharing the love this Valentine’s Day!

Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone,
Dyann
It shows how much this sweet little friend loves what you’ve done to her. What patients! It kind of looks like “Well, if this makes you happy, I’ll pose for you” Not many friends would put up with all these frills ~ what a friend you have.
Love your BLOG and the free patterns too. Thanks for sharing!
Quiltingly Yours,
Crissie
Oooh puppy, you are such a cute Valentine doggie… chocolate and fabric are two of my favorite things
Oh Chelsea , look what your Mom has done to you… I bet you did wonder what you did to deserve this, but it is for a good cause, we love it. Thank you for the Valentine’s Day cheer. (my dog won’t take a step if I put so much as a sweater on him.

Tu-tu cute, Chelsea!
Chelsea You look so cute. Happy Valentine’s Day!!!
Happy Valentine’s Day Chelsea!
How adorable! Anne, you had much better luck at the bows that I’ve had with mine. They last about a second and a half! Puppy kisses from Penny and me!
This makes me want to dress up my 2 rabbits! However, I don’t think they
will be as patient as Chelsea!
Happy Valentines Day. Love your blog. Your dog is precious especially on Valentines Day. Would love to win your giveaway.
Chelsea is thinking “and I thought I was the boss, what happened” She is sooo cute…
Chelsea — the highest of fashion you display and now may you get to go out and play! (you’ve certainly earned it) I don’t think my Daisy would be so patient! Happy Valentine’s Day.
Chelsea is a very patience little dog. I don’t think my Cocker Spaniel Obie would wear a costume long enough to take pictures. He’s gone for a walk with Dad to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Thanks for the give away.
Chelsea is such a good sport! Very cute!
I think you have peaked my interest with the wool bundles…. Although I’m not sure my studio is big enough for another passion. Chelsea is very patient and cute.
Chelsea is such a sweetheart! Please tell her thank you for putting up with the fashion show (and her diet and exercise program is doing great!) Her friends, Bella and Gibby are also adorable. Happy Valentine’s Day to you all.
A DOR A BLE…..love the frills. I also love the Moda…..oh how I hope I receive that. Kristy in Ohio

SheilaC
Chelsea … you are too cute for words, though I love the words put together to tell us your story! Great work and happy Valentines day!
Chelsea –
It looks like you have slimmed down. Great pics! The tutu suits you.
Mary
Chelsea, you are a great sport to wear your Valentine finery. My dog Bailey will only consent to wear a Santa hat once a year, and she does that grudgingly. Please pick my name for the drawing!
Kathy
Dear Chelsea,
Would you be my Valentine, oh the fun we would have, we will be dressed so fine, come away with me for a while, we will both sit in the park and smile, bring your Mom (Anne), and a quilt or two, lunch for three will be just the thing to do.
Thank you for the cute pictures of your sweet Chelsea and the opportunity to will a prize. Can’t wait to see what is next!
Nancy
Chelsea . . . you are adorable! Have a great day! – Marlene
Oh Chelsea, you do look SO cute! I wish I’d thought to make a little tutu for my Abby. I’m sure your mommy will give you a Valentine’s treat. You deserve it for being so patient and posing so nicely for photos in your sweet outfit ♥
Awhhh! Look at Chelsea – all done up for Valentines Day by her mum. The look on that cute little face is priceless!
Well I do have to say you are just the cutest dog I have seen today. I do have to say I haven’t seen any other dogs dressed for the holiday.
Chelsea…you look adorable! Sometimes us girls have to be a little uncomfortable to be so cute! Lucky you don’t wear shoes!
How sweet is this! You are so creative. I love the poem and it made my day. Have a wonderful Valentine’s Day!
Ann P.
I think Chelsea really loves the attention, even if she had to get all dressed up to get it.
I’d love to win the loot!
Poor Little Chelsea!
What is to be done?
A funny little outfit
Just for us to adore.
Happy Valentine wishes
With love galore!
Michele
Poor Chelsea! She looks awfully cute, but maybe too much Valentine’s outfit? Like maybe she would be happy without the hat and bows on her legs? We had a Chihuahua mix who just loved to wear a little pink party dress. She would dance around when we put it on. Or at least we thought she loved it. Hmmmm.
Anyway, happy Valentine’s Chelsea and I hope you get a nice little Valentine treat. Just one. You know you will have another weigh-in soon.
Our dogs so love us! Our Lab was frequently outfitted with a baby bonnet and given a bottle :-) Our poodle always like to look sharp and had her own ‘bad hair day’ baseball cap to cover up!
Chelsea is a great dog! Thanks for the Valentine sweetness, Anne.
Ohhhh..you are so caaaaa–uuuuuuuuttteeeeee!!!!! Now, if we could just get you to smile…hee hee :) Have fun tra-la-la’ing!!
Chelsea, What a dear Valentine you are! Lots of love and thanks for the potential gifts.
Thanks for putting a smile on my face this morning. You are too cute!
I love it! The poem was great and Chelsea’s outfit is adorable! Thanks for sharing. Mona
Oh ho, so sweet!!!
Oh..you are the cutest on four legs… Happy Valentines Day to you and your friends.. Enjoy the fun today.. you even might get a treat or two..;o)
My Dear Chelsea, You’re so sweet in your Valentine’s day finery. Love your cute costume!
I must say Chelsea that my girls love your outfit/ensemble. My middle girl was so excited to see what you were wearing because last night she drew a dog for her Nona that looks like you wearing a cute skirt. You’ve made her day wearing that skirt because her drawing looks like you and your skirt. Maybe I’ll take a picture of her drawing before it goes in the mail so that you will know that little girls love to dress up their pets even if it’s only in their imaginations. Thanks for putting smiles on our faces.
You do look cute Chelsea and afraid to move as well. Happy Valentine’s Day!
Well, I am thinking your Valentine is adorable, but from the look on her face, I don’t think she agrees. Happy Valentine’s Day.
Of COURSE you’re cute, you silly little dog! You look like a princess all dressed in pink! LOL
Don’t the pups look pretty dressed in pink?
I love the bella fabrics. Thanks.
My dear Chelsea, You are a stunning beauty dressed up in all your finery. You look like a beautiful princess! I hope you are going to be given lavish compliments today and that you will be treated like the diva you are. Thank you for sharing your lovely photos with us…your humble admirers.
My heart goes out to you chelsea. A perfect valentine! My dogs are wearing sweaters and boots since we are under a deep blanket of snow. If I win I will make them spring time jackets with those soft and lush colors!
Now, Chelsea, you know Mommy has your best interests at heart. Ballet is an excellent aerobic exercise — good for the waistline. You won’t have to have those embarrassing weigh ins! Besides, you are just too cute in that tutu — you’re an inspiration to us all!
Ohmigosh!! How cute is she???
Chelsea
You are so cute and so patient to put up with all that. Bet you make your Momma so proud. Thank you for being such a good sport–you really are adorable. Koye
Chelsea,
You are ADORABLE and such a good sport to put up with all your mam does to you. I am currently “pet” free, but used to try and dress up my Scottie, Mitzi. She would not move once I put something on her, so you are extra special!
Hugs,
Sandy A in SNOWY St. Louis
Cute!!! Ohhh I bet my dog feels neglected!!!
I am not sure that Chelsa looks any happier than Bella–I am still chuckling! I love “See’s” and “Moda”.
Happy Valentine’s Day!
Chelsea, you made me smile. Your giveaway fabrics are lovely, too.
Oh Chelsea – you are so cute. My little chihuaha, Chula, says she is glad it is you dressed up and not her. I love See’s candy. It is one of the things I miss since moving away from California.
Dear Chelsea, You are such a cute sweet puppy. Do not get discourage with your slight weight issue. It is the winter months and humans have the same problem..once warmer weather comes you can get out and run and play and the weight goes. For now let Anne dress you up and nobody will notice…Donna
Pink is just your color Chelsea…my bulldog Spike says you look adorable and is glad he doesn’t have to play dress up today!
Your entry today is priceless…just like you! Hope you have a very special Valentine’s Day!

Chelsea is lovely
and Moda Bellas are too!
Seriously, I guess I need to quit reading blogs and start on-line shopping. I hadn’t even heard of these and they ARE gorgeous from the looks of your bundle!
Chelsea did not show her pretty smile in her pictures. Maybe after a few Valentine doggy treats we can see that prize winning smile.
Hugs and kisses Chelsea
Chelsea, you’re not just cute, you’re absolutely adorable!
Chelsea, You look adorable. Hopefully you didn’t have to wear the tutu very long.:-) Thank you Annie for the wonderful give-away. Take care and God bless, Cory
You look so cute, and you really deserves a lot of goodies this valentine after mom dressing you up like this. My little Frida cat got her favorites today so she is smiling from ear to ear. I would love taste those candies and have those beutiful fabrics.
I would dress up in a tutu if it meant winning some See’s Choclates (yum yum) AND some wonderful fabrics! LOL
Love your dog and your poem — always enjoy your blogs.
Happy Valentine’s Day
Chelsea you are such a cutie all year long. You are being a good girl having you picture taken. So nice of you to give away that yummy See’s candy so you can continue to wear that cute little skirt.
Ohlala! She’s so cute with her little pink tutu! Voulez-vous danser mademoiselle? ;-)

Oh puppy love!! Make it work Chelsea!! ;) Christine
Love the pictures! Reminded me of when I was a little girl and my friend I would dress up our little dogs, put them in our doll strollers and walk up and down the street pushing them along. Thanks for sharing the pictures and the poetry was super!
Oh Chelsea, you are absolutely gorgeous in your pink frilly tutu! You are such a pretty girl! I love the beautiful hat! You’re such a pretty model!

You look sooo cute it that tutu…it’s very slimming too. I hope I win…I LOVE See’s candies, but sadly I haven’t had any in a few years (we can’t get them where we live)…and it goes without saying that I LOVE fabric too.
Chelsea must have lost weight, because she certainly looks adoreable in the hot pink. Aren’t we pet owners lucky these cutties found us. Happy Valentines Day.

But I have a special bone to lend.
I’d treat you right

and some say a handsome jaw
you are sooooo beautiful tonight…won’t you be my Valentine???
Well Chelsea, I have to say it’s a little over the top!! But it is Valentines day.:) Thanks for the early morning smiles!!
Chelsea is so cute she should probably be on TV! Then we would have something lighthearted to watch. Thanks for offering such a generous set of candy and fabric.
I love the outfit. Could not pick a better one for the day myself.
Too cute! Happy Valentine’s Day!
Chelsea-
You are beyond cute!
Chelsea, you look so cute in pink! So how long did it take mommy to chase you down to dress you? LOL! Happy Valentine’s Day. :o)
That’s a lovely poem, Chelsea! Please please pick me and I hope you have gotten out of your Valentine’s Day outfit by now :-).
Beauty and brains in one cute little package! Not only are you adorable, you are quite the talented poet. Hold your head high and be proud!
Oh Chelsea… you ARE really cute and, obviously, a real trooper for letting your momma put you through all this dress up stuff. But, how can she resist?!? Just darling. Happy Valentine’s Day Chelsea and Anne.
Just adorable! Chelsea really is a trooper. Happy Hearts Day!
Oh, poor baby! She looks kind of cute in the first photo, but in your collage at the bottom you can tell she knows that this just isn’t right. I remember putting training bras on my doberman. Three bras, of course.
What a wonderful giveaway – quilter’s candy and candy candy!
Dogs must really love their owners for they put up with so much-they are little love bugs. Chelsea DOES look cute but her face is saying, “Please Mom, get rid of the bows and crown.” Good thing our pets love us so much. Pink is definitely Chelsea’s color.
She has that look…”I’m only doing it for you, you know”…and also,”If I really must, but just remember the treat after all this fuss. How am I ever going to live this down?”
She’s pretty special, Anne. A keeper for sure…but you already knew that. I just get the feeling that she knows what the posing is for too.
Chelsea looks happier in some photos more than others. Either way, she is dressed with LOVE!!!
Love the bows around her “ankles” :)
Chelsea looks like a pretty princess with all those bows. And she seems to be tolerating it a lot better than Bella… I would love a chance to win the beautiful fabric and CHOCOLATES! Thanks for the chance – your blog is great!
Oh how adorable! And quite the poet too – a dog of many talents.
Oh you poor sweet dog. The indignation of it all! You really are quite sweet and adorable so how could Anne resist?? I hope you got some really nice treat for dressing up!! Have a happy Valentines Day, Chelsea (oh and you too Anne!)
Chelsea, you are such a cutie, couldn’t i win you, oh well, chocolate and fabric it must be!
I just love pink and Chelsea, that is definitely your color!! I know that it is your mommy’s favorite too. Thank you for modeling for all of us on such a special day.
Chelsea, girl, you strut that stuff. You look great! And I love your poem too.
Chelsea, you look adorable in that Tutu! Happy Valentines Day! BTW, love the Moda Bellas too.
Chelsea, you certainly are a good sport, aren’t you!!!! And how clever was it for Mom to write a poem about you. There is always something unexpected going on at Bunny Tales. (BTW, my Tisket a Tasket quilt is on my quilt frame now – lookin’ good too). Wouldn’t it be grand if I could say I won a prize from a Valentine Doggie? Hope you pick me.
Chelsea –
I must say your outfit is simply to die for !! I bet all the other dogs wished that their mommies made outfits for them !! You are one lucky dog !! And not to mention that you are quite the poet.
Have a wonderful Valentines day !!
Chelsea, what a cutie you are! And such a good girl too, to tolerate being all dressed up! Happy Valentines Day!
Chelsea,
Love the ribbon boots
they really are a hoot!
The fabrics are really nice-
and would make a great prize!
But really, give me the Sees,
Candy suits me to a T!
Sorry, that’s the best I can do.
Guess I’m not a poet.
Cute does not begin to describe it. After seeing her outfit, I need to go change into something else. Please add me to the drawing.
Chelsea is the cutest. I have a little boy Scottie named Angus he is getting a red spotted bow to wear today. He is behind the chair hiding right now I think he has telepathy My new armoire would love to be decorated with Chelsea,s Valentine favors Happy Love Day to all at your house.
