Tomorrow I’ll Be More Organized…

Tomorrow I’ll be more organized, less cluttered, more on top of things and finished with all my projects.  HA!  I’ve been saying this to myself for months.  Isn’t working.  Hard as I try I can’t get ahead.  Do you find yourself in the same situation?  Well I’ve found a great blog that can help us.  It’s called Unclutterer!  She has somereally great tips.  I subscribe to her blog by email so that every morning she’ll be there for me (she posts every day).  Ready to help me organize my life.  Heaven knows I need it.

To all of you who commented on my pink refrigerator post, I’m KEEPING the refrigerator.  It’s helping me to unclutter my drinks and snacks.   Not to mention that Chelsea likes it and that’s what’s important.

There’s a French blog I follow that I absolutely love, called L’Atelier Perdu de Nataliejo.  She’s created the most beautiful, uncluttered, sewing studio and I thought you might enjoy the visit.  Click on the slide show link and you’ll be in for a treat!  The English translation is right below the slide show.  Enjoy!

In the mist of my quest for organization, I’ve been receiving emails with the most amazing pictures of finished “A Tisket, A Tasket” quilts!  Enjoy the pictures.  I hope you can see them.  I’ll be back on the 5th with a new block for Snowbound (if I can find it)!

I am so excited about tomorrow’s new BOM I dont think I’ll be able to sleep!!! I always get that way the day before, I love the BOM’s so much! Thank You So Much! And that cute pink refrigerator..what can I say, DARLING!!!!!

  • Suz Kuhns

Thanks for the tip on the Unclutterer! Maybe she can help me too! Just took inventory of my BOM projects – 15 currently (some started last year) and 2 more coming later this year…what was I thinking! And of course the pieces are all over the place…wouldn’t want them all in one easy-to-find location!

I’m glad you decided to keep the pink fridge. We should all know someone who has one if we don’t have one ourself! :0)

Thanks for sharing the links, Anne. Wow, that French studio is amazing! Even if you’re a lover of pink, that blue is just dreamy :-) What a darling space to draw, and work and create…

I have loved seeing all the different versions of the 2009 basket quilt and also the new website you mentioned with the dreamy studio was soooo pretty! I would spend all day in there and forget everything else! :O) Can’t wait until the 5th! Thanks, Anne, for another year of fun snowmen blocks to look forward to!!!! :O) Your generosity is such a blessing and I can’t thank you enough!!!!! Bari

I love the quilts. I have copied all the patterns and hope to start the quilt this year. I also started collecting the snowmen. Now that I am seeing some of them finished, I will have to start mine soon.

    Thanks for posting the pictures.

Love the talk about finishing all projects and uncluttering and on and on and on. That is my goal, always for tomorrow. No matter what day of the week, it is always tomorrow. I have gotten better with the new year and took a class at http://www.bigpicturescrapbooking.com about reclaiming my time. Visit my blog to learn more. LOVE YOUR WORK! Your patterns sell like hot cakes in our quilt store!

Hi Anne, I love reading your blog! I read you are still working on it so I thought I would be free to share this with you. I do have trouble with your lettering. I think your letters are a little bit too small for comfortable reading. I do have very good eyesite, so that is not the problem, I htink it is more that there are too many words on every line or the black and white that make it a bit uncomfortable to read and feel that a slightly bigger letter would make it easier.

I, like Robin, went and looked at the sewing studio and found it very lovely, but I must admit that I find the creative process to be a bit messy. I’m in the process of redoing my sewing space and I’m sure that when I’m done it will be organized until I actually start to sew. Then the fabric and thread will fly. I try to clean up between projects, but while I’m sewing things get messy!
The quilts made from you BOM are lovely. It’s so fun to see what people do with the same pattern. Thanks again for sharing the patterns and the finished pictures as well. They are an inspiration!

What a treat — I feel like I’ve just taken a short jaunt to Paris. I don’t think I would ever want to leave my home if I had such a darling studio. Thanks for sharing that post — that’s one I will definitely visit regularly.

I went to the French blog and watched the slideshow of her studio. It was really lovely but do you think she actually works in that space? I would probably go in the room to admire it numerous times during the day but my sewing machine would be out on the kitchen table where I could work without messing anything up.
