Preheat your sewing machine to straight stitch.

Take a stack of Simple Abundance by Bonnie & Camille from Moda Fabrics…

…Add a Clover yo, yo maker…

…and make some yo yo’s!

Fill a candy jar full of yo yo’s while your working away…

Pour some into a second jar…

and soon you’ll have a collection…

You’ll find the complete recipe coming soon from Bunny Hill, published Fall 2009.

These make the most beautiful snacks! I’m thinking I may need a jar full in my studio. Just in case company stops by, like Kendal, Brigette’s daughter! She loved these “cute little things”!

We may need to have a party and serve some up! I have a feeling Kendal’s mom will be making her some very soon!

She Takes Her Job Seriously!

She takes her job seriously, this Chihuahua. That’s why she works for Bunny Hill. She’s paid well and loves her job and today she proved how valuable she is once again!

She shall have ribbons wherever she goes!

I’m addicted to ribbons and trims. No doubt about it. I hope you are too because I’m giving away four large wood spools, wrapped with pretty ribbons!

Four winners will each get one spool! And guess who’s going to pick the winners? Chelsea! I don’t know how she’ll do it yet, she’s not telling. So leave a comment and on Wednesday check back to see who Chelsea selected. Don’t think you can bribe her because I’m sure you can’t. Right Chelsea? Right?

Thanksgiving is Looking Good!

Thanks to all of my wonderful readers, I will now be able to have Thanksgiving at my house! Remember all the spools you saw on my dining room table?

Well, early this morning it looked like this…

And as of now, it looks like this…

I think I can add some china to the table now! Yes, it’s true we are almost sold out of the spools. I caught Brigette sneaking her little stash out to the car because she was afraid I would sell them (actually I did sell one).

Now here’s the good news. Since you seem to like the smaller spools, I’ve ordered a few more. They take several weeks to get here so be patient. I’ll let you know when they arrive.
