She Shall Have Ribbons!

I love trims. I put them on everything! I use them for flower stems, tote bags, quilt edges, pincushions, Christmas decorations, cat collars, hems and anything else I can think of. I keep a stash in my studio just in case the need strikes. I even love just looking at them! So while I was at market, I walked past the ribbon booths and well you can guess the rest, I bought lots of trims. They’ve been arriving over the past few weeks and FINALLY I have them for sale on my web site. You can find them here at Bunny Hill.

Trims…
…and more trims

…and more trims!

Now for the great part! I’ve just listed FOUR pages of trims. Four pages! Do you realize how many trims that is? Well one of you will find out very soon! As I was photographing these trims I was also cutting a yard of each one. The stack kept growing and growing and now one lucky person is going to win this pile of trims! 1 yard of every trim on my web site! It’s a giveaway! I’ll choose a winner on Saturday, November 29th. Just tell me why you want this stack of trims! Oh my, I think a few are missing. Do you see them all in the stack below? I may have to cut some more! And she shall have ribbons where ever she goes….

Good luck everyone. May you be sewing with trims very soon! And, yes I’ll package them in a much prettier fashion. (:

Why would I want the trim? How could anyone NOT want the trim!!!! Trim for feather trees, for aprons, wall quilts…lavendar wands (which I make many of every year)….trim makes EVERYTHING just a little bit better.

Thank you for a beautiful website that I visit several times a week just to bask in the colors and images.

Anne – I don’t need to win because I also stopped at that lovely booth at Market and bought many, many trims including some of the ones I see on your site. Of course I haven’t gotten them on my site yet – you are way ahead of me! They are beautiful and I’ve been dreaming of what to do with them…can’t wait to see what you’ll come up with. XOXO Mary Jane

I know you had the time of your life shopping for all the trim. They are all so beautiful. Just because I am a girl (really a grown woman) I would love all those trims. Doesn’t every girl love girly things? I know I do.

Are you kidding?! Of course I want to win the trims!! I have 3 daughters, 3 granddaughters and ME!! I will use up odd-n-ends trims to make bibs with for the grands. Sometimes they come out looking a little goofy since I will just use whatever is there. With a NEW stash of trims, I could make much more coordinated bibs. Not to mention when I am sewing for the granddaughters and their baby dolls and quilts and stuff and more stuff.

PS I even collect ribbons that come from tied up charm packs, gift boxes, sweatshirt hoods, drawstring pants, floral bouquets, etc. You get the picture.

Ribboooooons…love them. Collect them. Always want more of them…does that count as an answer to what I’d do with them? *lol*
If I had them right now I would definitely use them on my swap blocks (sunbonnet sue appliqué) – I’m searching my ribbon stash and found it’s clearly too small, just don’t have the variety I need to find the PERFECT trim for each block ;o).
    Hugs, Julia
P.S.: hello Louise, you’re speaking of ME ;o) – I still treasure your gifts you sent along…can’t part with them but I’m sure I’ll find the right project for them!

I would love to win these – well because we are collectors of everything. If we don’t have a use just now, next week we will. Trims are a must to have on hand!!! Not to mention either all the uses I could use with your patterns – I have one in the works, and I know I don’t have enough trims for the bunny wagons. Linda

I just love your site Anne – I must check in every night before I turn off my computer. This is the first time I have left a comment though – I love love love the trims. Whenever I buy something new like trim or buttons I like to leave them out so I can cast a gaze as I am working. Makes for a messy sewing environment but I love it.

Trims provide the finishing touch on so many projects. They are hard to find in the region of Australia where I live, so to win these lovelies would make me very happy indeed. Christmas stockings, little girls' dresses & apron pockets are just some of the projects that spring to mind when I think of what I could do with these gorgeous trims.

Hi Anne, Wow, I just love the ribbon! I had ribbon as a theme for my wedding shower. Everyone bought me ribbon as a gift for an antique thread box that I was given by my dear friend Helen. She had been given it by her husband years before. Needless to say I rec’d a variety of wonderful lengths of colors and patterns. Each person put their name on a tiny tag that my friend Sally had made by hand and sewn on the tail end of the piece. They have been used in bits but not in whole. I love them dearly! I think it’s time they had so new neighbors, so please put my name in the drawing. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. Pam in Chico
