Yep, I left the studio for one day and look what found me! Don’t know if it was at Target or Barnes and Noble but I picked him up and brought him home. Right now I’m feeling pretty sorry for myself, staying in bed and trying not to spread this awful little bug. My diet has consisted of Cream of Wheat and hot tea, a combo I’m sure only sounds good when you’re sick.
I’m not getting much designing done, and I find myself standing in front of the closet or the pantry with no memory of what I went there to get. I’m not a patient person when it comes to resting in bed. When I can’t pick up the newest issue of Australian Homespun magazine you know it’s bad.
I know, I know, it’s crazy. I can draw the little guy you see above, but for the life of me I can’t draw a simple little snowman. Maybe next week when I’m not so weak! LOL!
No hugs today…don’t want you to get sick ):

Sorry to hear your sick… that’s no fun! But, I do have to LOL when you said that you stood in front of the pantry/closet and didn’t know what you were there for! That’s the story of my life!
Feel better soon… Starve a Cold, Feed a Fever??? What do you do to the Flu???
Think pretty thoughts hmmmm?
Get Well Soon!
I always feed a cold and feed a fever and feed a stomach ache and feed a headache and feed a stubbed toe…you get the picture!
It must have been those other stores and not at Bunny Club. Quilt stores are germ free except for quilt pox, which is highly contagious.
Get well soon.
Ew the flu. So sorry. Get well soon.
I hope you are feeling well soon!! Everyone at your house needs to get healthy. Get some rest and hopefully you will be feeling well soon. Cute drawing of the Flu Bug.

Sooooo sorry to hear you are sick. I’m sick too! I teach special ed. and one of my little darlings coughed in my face just in time for me to be sick for spring break!! I had all these plans for quilting while I was off and just can’t pull it together feeling crummy…grrr
Enjoy the rest now even though you don’t feel well….I am sure you are going to be working like crazy to get ready for the quilt market.
Hope you feel better real quick!!
Shannon~
I am sorry to hear that you are sick… that is no fun and especially when there is work/play to be done! Wishing you a Speedy recovery:)
Oh dear Anne, I am so sorry that little flu bug reached you. I must say that I do not need the excuse of a flu bug to find myself at a memory loss though..I can be in the best of health and have to retrace my steps until it all comes back to me..Please feel better soon. With spring here tis not a good time to be down..Sending some healthy vibes your way.
Louise
Ooooh, sorry you’re sick. Get well soon Anne!
Ohhh kick him out. He came to my house and overstayed his welcome. Two more antibiotic pills left, I hope I’ve seen the last of him.
Sorry you are sick ….. grrrr I am not good at being sick – such a waste of time! Hope you kick the bug soon!
What a difference a day makes huh? I’m sorry your sick today. At least yesterday you had a great day with friends.
Take care of you.
So sorry you’ve got the bug. If I lived closer I’d bring you some chicken soup.
Love your little bug drawing!
Feel better quickly,
Joni
Oh no! Hope you get better super-quick. I also hope you aren’t going to turn your little bug (cute tho he is) into a new fabric line. I don’t think it would be as much fun to work with.
I agree with Pam…Kick him to the curb! Lots of Chamomile tea will do the trick. Might want to add a little chicken broth as your main meal! I hope you are feeling better soon.
Bummer. Sorry to hear the flu bug bit you. Have some hot chicken soup and hope you feel better soon!
I hope that you feel better soon! Boy can I relate about not knowing what to sift through when sick…kind of like being hungry and not having anything good to chose from in the pantry.
Get better so that you can create!!
No hugs back…..not this time. :)
Becky
Oh, Anne, So sorry to hear you are sick. Hope you are feeling better and are up and sewing again soon.

Anne, I’m so sorry that the bug got you. Here in Mississippi, it’s everywhere, also. You are just plain scared to leave home. Being sick is a bad place to be.
Just keep on with the hot tea and whatever you feel like feeding that old bug.
Hope you feel much better, soon.
Feel better soon! Here I thought you hadn’t been posting, and it turns out my blog feed was all screwy. So glad I went around it and caught up on all the news. I’m sure you’ll be up and around in no time!
Hi Anne – I’ll take the risk and send big hugs your way. I’m still trying to get rid of my bug 8 weeks later but hope that it won’t happen to you. Please don’t tell me it was all that rushing to get your project done for my magazine. Take care of yourself and keep warm. Cheers, Catherine
