And the winner is…

Karen from Washington! Post number 24, using our scientific Mrs. Glosser’s random number generator! Karen’s a new quilter and Buttons & Bows is the perfect quilt for a beginner. Congratulations Karen! Just email me your address and I’ll send you a kit! Thank you all for posting your comments. I LOVED reading each and every comment and I wish I had a kit to send to everyone! (:

If you’re wondering why I didn’t post on my birthday it’s because I’m sharing the same cave as Elizabeth over at Late Bloomer http://the-latebloomer.blogspot.com/! Elizabeth, you are not alone. We should move in together! Life outside of the studio doesn’t happen right before quilt market. I’m resigned to the fact that it will always be like this. LOL!

I have to tell you the bunnies have had a miracle happen right here in bunny land. My new block of the month has been made in just 5 days. 5 DAYS! Me and my little assistant Nireko have worked round the clock and it is done! Fabric didn’t arrive until last week so everything got put on hold and we just started sewing. I can’t believe we did this, but we did! Now with UPS willing it will make it to market. Coming soon from Bunny Hill Designs…Blossom Time!

Yesterday was a day of presents and surprises and I took a little break to open the most wonderful present from my assistant Anne Bryson in Bend, Oregon! She knows I love, love, love Cindy’s things over at http://www.cutepinkstuff.com so look what she sent me for my desk! I’ve already filled it with all my necessities like pencils, erasers, scissors, and paper.

…and then look what arrived! A little gift from the Queen of pink herself…Cindy! Thank you Cindy! I LOVE it! This will be the most treasured clipboard ever!

So now it’s back to work. Got to get those patterns done!

Surprise, Anne! Anne Bryson and I had so much fun planning your surprise gift. You are so welcome for a much deserved desk organizer and clip board! More fun than planning this surprise was meeting your oh-so-nice, and oh-so-generous friend, Anne Bryson! Take care! Cindy at cutepinkstuff.com

Congratulations to Karen on winning that sweet little bird. Although, I think it is almost too cute to stick pins in..maybe just one little pine to show it’s purpose. That is what I do with some of my favorites..Hope we see the pattern soon…Louise
