Newest Alexander Henry Fabric

OK, so where have these guys been? I’ve been out to the construction site of our new house and I know I would have remembered them. Alexander Henry must have found them somewhere. Are they in your neighborhood?

I was at our local quilt store this morning when this fabric arrived. I think it’s so funny! Perhaps if I wasn’t into fabric design it wouldn’t be so amusing! My next fabric line has a few birds in it and to think I was worried about cutting up the fabric and just having part of a bird!

Here’s what I’m going to do. If you leave a comment on this post you are automatically entered to win the 1 yard piece of this fabric. Free! I’ll ship it to you and you can use it for what ever you like. Suggestions have been an apron, book cover, pillow case…no limit for this fabric. I’ll have one of my friends who doesn’t know all of you randomly pick a winner and then I’ll post your name in the comment section. You have to email me your address if you win because blogger won’t let me respond to your comments. Check back in a few days…you could be the lucky owner of this man fabric (gives a new meaning to the word man fabric doesn’t it?) (<:

Yea, your right Anne. I never saw any guys who looked like while building our home! I sent my sister pillow cases with the other cowboys with their trucks, and said Sweet Dreams! She got a kick out of it! Thanks for sharing. I’d be more into the birds!

    Love reading your blog!

You’re right, this is great fabric, couldn’t think of what I’d use it for then it hit me. I’ve designed a Memory Book (Album) using chip board and fabric. Well can you see the possibilities? What a way to display the pictures of your new home (while under construction)if not in a memory book with this fabric as the cover of the book.
Love reading your blogs and look forward to seeing and hearing about all the new designs you are coming up with. JUST LOVE THEM!

How much FUN is this (and that fabric)! Would LOVE to have that fabric to make some special pillowcases for my 27 year old daughter to take along on her business trips abroad. Can you just see the looks on the hotel staff’s faces when they came in to make up her room!!!
BTW I just LOVE your new fabric, and all of your patterns and have made several, including but not limited to, Patchwork Pines, Rabbit’s Prefer Chocolate, and in addition to being in the middle of Pumpkin Hill, I am making 2 baby quilts from your new line.

A friend of mine used the retro sexy ladies fabric that came out a while ago for some curtains in one of the darling cabins they rent out on their property on Lake Pend Oreille. One of their visitors left a note in the Guest Book saying, “disturbing curtains”! How funny. I can’t wait to tell her about this new fabric.
